We went for lunch to try the fabulous burgers we kept seeing online... burgers were excellent. I ate the whole thing which meant they are not large. I usually eat half a burger. Onion rings were tasty. Staff was friendly tho during lunch time we had to wait a bit to purchase butcher meats. They have a large wine selection and some fruits, veggies, lots of prepared foods and a few desserts.

A mistaken employee here once told me I couldn't get a custom cut while I waited -- but within an hour, senior staff had contacted me to correct the error. They're more than happy to do any cutting or trimming while you browse the store for a few minutes. I'm so happy to have found such a great full-service butcher!

Their food is good and consistent, we pick up food here regularly. We enjoy their sandwiches and wine selection mostly (nice local winery choices!). Not a huge fan of the burgers, meat seems like frozen patties. Haven't tried the pizza. Prepared food is very pricey and market selection makes it seem like an afterthought almost.

These are some of the most tasty marinated meats i ever had the pleasure of consuming. This place has such a wonderful selection of food, beer, and wine. We had one of the best BBQs ever for labor day cuz of the stuff we grabbed from here. Will definitely come for more!!

Maybe we came on a bad day but we were not impressed at all. It took a good 5 minutes for anybody to acknowledge us despite there being only a handful of customers in the store a good 6-7 staff on the floor. We intended to order an expensive cut of meat (prime rib aged) but were told they couldn't cut the meat to the desired lb we were looking for. So, we left with nothing and they missed out on a $120 order. Won't be back.

We are so happy to finally have a butcher so close to our house. My wife and I have had nothing be great experiences so far. We have been in 5 times over the past 3 weeks. So far everything we have ordered to eat has been great, we have had their sando's (steak tip sandwich is my fav), pizza, salads, and fries. I have taken home some of their marinated chicken and steak tips and it cooks up easy and was a huge hit, everyone loved it. I am not sure how Wine'ing does it, but the marinade seems to permeate every fiber of the meat, so after its cooked up you are left with the flavor throughout the entire cut. Yesterday we tried their cupcakes, we tried their chocolate cake, stuffed with fluff and topped with peanut butter icing...they were fantastic!! We hope they keep it up because this is the type of place that just makes you smile :)

I want to give a big shout out to The Wine’ing Butcher and most of all Ed, I used to live in South Riding and would visit Wine’ing Butcher as often as I could to eat lunch and always get cookies to take home (best food around). About a year and a half ago I moved to Alabama (retired) boy did I miss the good food and my cookies!!!! Will I still have sister’s that still live in Ashburn so for my birthday I received a surprise package and guess what I am enjoying my cookies and brownies... I have some awesome sisters and a really good friend (Ed, you know who you are)!! Thank you so very much your the best!! Margie

Talk about mixed results... Ordered a steak and cheese sub and a ice cream desert ... awesome! Few weeks later we went back and the ice cream taste funky, freezer burn maybe? The meat for my sandwich was hard and stringy. Pizza is good...LIKE the pizza... Went back and purchased a few porter house steaks this week that were pricey buy taste great. Its very hard to run a small restaurant/ butchery with consistently fresh food and turn any kind of prophet. I get it...

I love this place. The only reason I don't give it a five is because it is so darned expensive. I like that they now have organic dairy products and eggs. If the meats were just a tad cheaper, I could afford to shop here more often. Great little produce area, wonderful wines and beautiful beef. Their bacon is good, but too thin for me. I usually askkthem to slice it at 2.5 for me and it works a lot easier to peel it apart in the morning.

My first time in the store to pick up steaks. Hand cut but the store itself was not what I expected. It also had a bad smell that I can't describe. 3 hours later, I can still smell it on my clothes. VERY OFFENSIVE. I don't think I will go back.

"Edit - after eating my burger and fries" I have to agree with the post below, don't know what happen but my burger isn't what it was prior my first time here. Overcooked patty - using salad dressing lettuce / tomato toppings.. and you pretty much disregarded my topping request *horseradish*. and fries don't seem fresh - more like frozen defrost . You want to known how to do it right? Check out wayback burgers near giant.. their burgers actually smell like beef.

Just picked up steakhouse tips and crab cakes. Best crab cakes I've ever had. Each crab cake is like half a pound of real crab and the steak tips are super tender and full of flavor. Cost for 2 crab cakes and 1lb of steak tips, $38.

They have organic turkeys to order for the holidays, just enough variety of fresh vegetables to accompany the meat, quality steaks cut to order, a few fresh fish cuts and prepared foods to go with it all. And did in day wine? You can also eat there and enjoy a glass of wine or beer. This small shop provides it including organic eggs.

We've been there twice in the past month and really like it. The first time we went we had their sandwiches and they were great. Yesterday I picked up some burger patties (Firehouse and Regular) and some steak tips (Burgundy Wine). The burgers were fabulous. Very juicy and tasty. The steak tips were fantastic! Loved them. I'll only get steak tips from here from now on. I also picked up some chips and salsa, and I must say they have the best fresh salsa I think I have ever had. It tasted home made. If you're in the Ashburn area you should definitely try this place.

I’ve had their steak tips and a cowboy steak which were phenomenal. This last time I had their butchers mix pizza. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Perfect crust, balance of cheese and sauce (which is tough) and the meats they use were absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back and see what else they got up their sleeve.
