This grocery store is great. The produce and meats are fresh and there's a good variety of baked goods and ready to eat foods to buy. The prices are higher than you'd normally see in a grocery store, but the quality of the food here is higher too.

Fresh Market is a nice store. It has some items that similar stores don't have and some of them at a better price. For example, I like their antibiotic-free chicken at $3.29 a pound. They have sales too, when you can really save some money. Their fresh fruit, however, is not the best. Same for their sushi, even though it's prepared in the store. Both can be quite pricey. Their international/gourmet section doesn't have a lot of variety. Overall, I think it's a good store that could use some work in a few areas.

If you like paying organic produce prices without the hassle of actually getting organic produce then this is the place for you. Deli options are overpriced and the sushi has that not-quite-fesh vibe. Overall just too expensive.

There was this really cool guy John in the store. He had a table set with some crackers for me to taste (wow!) he told me about the product and how it would taste. Again in 2018 John was in the store with power bars.

This store is comparable to Whole Foods. It carries overpriced, higher-end produce. I don't shop here on the regular basis. Normaly I only get a quick snack, such as sushi or one of their wraps.

I hope the video of the little dog in the stroller wasnt in your store. That's against health code and the law as only service dogs are allowed. That was a pet. Please do not allow this pet back in or you could be sued if it attacks or distracts a legitimate working dog.

They are ALWAYS out of something essential and I'm not talking about for just a day.... No, for weeks. It's a grocery store and you haven't carried toilet paper for at least two weeks...... A grocery store with no toilet paper..... The list includes but not limited to cilantro, lemons, breads that they say they carry, and dish washing gloves. Oh whole foods.... I wish you would come back....

This is no Whole Foods (the store that was located there before.) It is dark as a nightclub, making labels hard to read sometimes. There are no guiding signs for aisle content. Prices were relatively high. A sweet potato pie was so sweet and lacking in flavor that I discarded it at home after the first piece. At checkout, the cashier chatted with a co-worker the whole time. I realize I've been spoiled by Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, with courteous and friendly personnel and quality products. Only the Fresh Market's considerable variety of bottled and canned products could draw me back.

Honestly, I love this place and I wish there were more locations. Although is it more on the expensive side of grocery shopping, there are things here you just can’t find other places. The best part however is on Tuesday’s you can stock up on your fresh chicken breast and ground chuck for $2.99 a pound. That’s what really got me going here. Now along with those other harder to find items and the always friendly staff, it is a go to weekly to stock up on meats and those few niceties.

This is by far the most trustworthy place in terms of the fresh section. You can always expect fresh meat (all types), fruits, vegetables, eggs, etc. The only downside is I find their walkways too narrow. But no big deal.

Fresh Market is a decent spot. The location used to be a Whole Foods, and when it vacated I was worried all I would be left with was Safeway and Bloom ( AKA then80s era Soviet Block Grocery store). Fresh Market has a good selection of fresh produce and meats, as well as a decent stock of comfort foods. They also carry a lot of niche foods you can't find anywhere except online, like Real Foods Pizza and Epic Bars. Prices are what you would expect for a higher end grocery store, but I feel it is worth it. Parking is bountiful and if the checkout lines start to back up they always pull people to resolve it. As an added bonus, there is usually free coffee.

For the first time in many decades, our family decided to buy a pre-cooked turkey and we got two of them from Fresh Market in Rockville. I did not have great expectations for a reheated turkey, but man it was the best! How they managed to produce such a flavorful and juicy result is a mystery to me. We may not be cooking our own turkeys again! We also picked up some excellent Ciabiatta bread and a pumpkin pound cake. They lasted only minutes as people exclaimed how good they were.

I am impressed by the freshness of the produce and helpfulness of the staff. Additionally, their meat department is unbeatable compared to other grocery stores with regards to service and variety. Today, we went to the meat department to get just a couple of their pre-seasoned chicken breasts to bake for dinner. They were out of the Parmesan crusted one and Paul who was working at the time offered to make us fresh ones so we can enjoy our dinner tonight. It was later in the day and he was staffing alone, yet he went above and beyond. We have had other experiences with different stores that refuse to even cut the meat for us. This is great customer service and we are absolutely coming back.

Really great experience at fresh market. When I was there Manager Paul was really helpful when I asked him questions he helped me right away, with a big smile on his face. He was really nice and his work is very clean. If anyone is looking for a super nice and productive worker, Paul is the one to go to!

This place has yo have some of the worst service behind the deli/bistro bar! You will average a wait time without assistance for at least 15-20 minutes! IT IS HORRIBLE! If it wasn't so close to my job I would have stopped coming here months ago! Such good food to but they need to hire more staff or more competent staff!!!!!

Fresh market is a specialty grocery store. A good produce section, bake goods are also respectable. The store offers a lot of the items in Whole Foods it's just not nearly as large and the choices are fewer. It serves as a good option for the local area north of Pike and Rose.

We live in DC so this was a first time stopping in. Great selection and nice staff. Wish there was one closer but if we are in Rockville again we’ll definitely be shopping here. Just as good as Whole Amazon Foods and about 15% cheaper.

Frankly pathetic. Coffee all looked old and had no roast dates listed (or even filled dates) to check for freshness. Cheese counter was sparse, unimpressive, and the staff's knowledge was shockingly poor. The charcuterie section should be relabelled the 30 salamis and one prosciutto section. Finally when I reached the olive bar it was clear the kalamata olives were incredibly old and becoming mushy and some had dried and wrinkled with salt spots under the lights, they are olives, they wont make you ill, but they are past their prime. At this point we just put our food back and left.

I do most of my shopping here. Unfortunately, I now require a wheel chair and this store does not have a motorized scooter for my use as other grocery stores do. That is a big problem!

I went to this location last weekend & was disappointed. The organic fresh food selection was pretty small. I bought oranges and when I got home, I had to throw 4-5 away because they were old. Also, bought 2 pounds of beef from the meat department...three days later - it went bad and I threw it all away. The bacon was great and there's a wonderful selection of cheese. But, that's not enough for me to return.

I really like the quality of the meats and their discounted prices are really competitive. However, I am not really sure if beefs and chickens are 100% hormone and antibiotic free, particularly beefs since even if it's grass-fed it doesn't mean it's hormone free.

I enjoy visiting in this store. The open plan without the preponderance of high stacking shelves presents a shopping experience with a feeling of freedom. The food is attractively laid out and enticing. Specifically I would like to know if they create their fresh sausage in-house. I bought some mild Italian sausage (among other items) yesterday and oven cooked them this morning. They were excellent. I congratulate the butcher. I know now where to buy sausage.

Kind of like a smaller Whole Foods with the same high prices. They cater to making it easy to prepare something with a lot of pre-cut and combo packs, but the unit prices are sky high. We are used to Costco so most other stores gives us sticker shock.

I love the great customer service. The store carries a wide variety of speciality items. The deli, bakery and seafood counters are the ones we frequent the most. We like the Crabcakes, Salmon cakes, Rotisserie Chickens, Greek Burgers and Southwest Burgers. Fresh Market carries the best frozen Chicago Pizza "Home Run Inn". We shop there almost daily. It is a nice touch to have sample produce for the kids. It helps keep my granddaughter entertained while we shop.

The store is a great store BUT I have an issue with the deli department. So three things bothered me when I ordered an Italian panini. One, the man in charge of deli used the same gloves he used to touch EVERYTHING (not assuming, I actually saw him touch a costumer’s food package before helping me and there was a dry maybe tomatoe stain on the glove) before he grabbed my panini. Two, that panini that was on display had apparently sat there since yesterday (his words). I thought they would make it fresh... Three, the man said it would be too much work if they were to cut up the cheese and salami when it’s ordered. There was no way I was going to eat that so I went elsewhere. That’s straight up disgusting. Whoever’s in charge of the store, please have a higher standard when it comes to freshly prepared food. Otherwise, I do like this store but I will only buy groceries.

A grocery store that's on the pricier side but the bakery has the best cupcakes; I get them for every party and event! Sadly, they have discontinued the peanut butter flavor though. The deli and meat departments are upscale. They have freshly prepared meals to go that are delicious and there is a cafe to sit and eat if you can't wait until you get home!
