A nice place to find Indian and Bangladeshi Spice and food. I like their Potato Chop (A spicy version of Japanese KOROKKE). Chickens are organic. Some of the food were little too spicy for me.

I went to this store to buy halal chicken for a biryani Recipe given to me by an Indian family friend. I have never shopped for Indian food before, so I did not know what to expect. There are signs pointing to the store and it is not hard to see if you're looking for it. There's a small parking area or you can park on the street in front of the store. When you walk in there is a nice smell of incense. There is a lot of selection for dried, boxed, refrigerated, produce, and meat products. The woman working asked if I needed help with anything, and gave me recommendations for the meal I told her I was going to prepare. Everyone working there was very polite and friendly.

This is a family owned small indian grocery store. They also have a meat section that provides goat meat, chicken and lamb. The store has a section of different Indian and African spices. They also have a small section of produce. This store is owned a very lovely couple who are very welcoming. Don't forget to ask for the complimentary chai tea.

Good store for spices required in South Asian cooking, much cheaper than a conventional grocery store such as the nearby Giants. 10$ credit minimum which isn't bad for a locally owned place. The owner was very friendly. I actually like that it's tucked away.

The man on counter was very nice and also gave me Bhoondi sweet as a gift and also showed me the way of ramp. I am really impressed by hospitality and availability of products. Clean and organized store. We got some dry goods and vegetables all were fresh unlike many of the other stores I've been to. The owner was extremely friendly and made sure we found all items we were looking for. He even gave us complimentary treats for the road. Tons of parking in a clean neighborhood. This is my go to desi grocery store in Ellicott City. They are well stocked for most items one needs and even if something is missing they will try their best to order it for you. Halal meat is a good convenience to have in the store, esp the pre marinated meats. Mona and Azaad are both very nice and customer service oriented.

An amazing desi store, very well-stocked and fresh meat. Plenty of parking right next to the store. The couple who runs the place are VERY friendly and go out of their way to assist you. They also have fresh vegetables and some freshly made snacks such as samosas and chaat. They also take orders over the phone and never overcharge. Can't recommend this place enough.

This is by far my new favorite grocery store. They have a wonderful, yet simple selection of ayurvedic products that are great in our society, as many of the things that big grocery store cooperations provide us with are addictive chemicals and hormones that aren't good for our bodies... Of course wholefoods is a place to shop to avoid this, but those prices are unrealistic for everyone. This store is an example of the fact that you can have healthy foods and a healthy wallet. Upon visiting, the owners gave me a lot of tips on natural hair dying without chemicals. The henna was super inexpensive!!! The owner also gave me two free bitter melons, and told me how good they are for health and recipe tips. He was very wise and knowledgeable about wellness. This is a small business that provides huge benefits. Small business owners that are wholesome, kind, personable, and want to help consumers instead of cheat them deserve more business.

Fantastic convenience store located in Columbia! The son of the owners is often there to greet customers. Very sweet boy with a fond enthusiasm of the cultural atmosphere that made shopping here really easy and feasible. He was able to help me find my chutney and spices within seconds. The owners are very welcoming and they make you feel like you are a guest at their home. They even gave me free desert and they offer tea to all customers on weekend + free pastries! This is the best Bangladeshi/Indian grocery store I’ve been to. Mona apu and Azad bhai, the owners, are really nice, friendly and hospitable. They greet you as soon as you enter the store. The store is spacious and clean. Fish and meat cutting service is excellent. On weekends, Azad bhai makes the best tea in town. Desi snacks are also available on weekends. Soon, they will also start catering.
