Found Rob (the tall guy) very rude . there was a misunderstanding about the price of the cow. Luckily at the time of my purchase , one of my relatives was there with me and I was able to reconfirm with him about the price of the cow. Rob was asking $100 more for the cow and was trying to say that I was lying about the price. Never again with this farm.

They are very respectful of our holiday, Eid Al Adha and have made a lot of great upgrades to the location. However I took off a star because the workers who cleaned and processed the cows were smoking. Please give your workers time to take smoking breaks away from the meat.

Not too pleasant experience. I called in at JB Farms few days before the Eid to reserve a goat but Rob told me 'we don't take reservations and it's on First come First serve basis.' Now when we got there, we saw that cows were already prebooked and those with cow orders were given huge preference. My point is it's absolutely fine to give them preference but I was given false information over the phone about First come First serve basis. Rob should had told me over the phone that cows are prebooked and it will take you hours and hours of waiting. It took me good 6 hours waiting for my turn. The good thing about the farm is they have healthy animals with good pricing. Meat quality was satisfying.

Not worth it. I did not get my money's worth of meat. The animal itself was small and overpriced. Then after that, you can't see the processing, and so the amount of meat you get is less than at other local farms. They don't skin the head or legs either, and they cut the meat too large. For a $300 goat, we probably got about $120 of meat. Go elsewhere.

The workers here are very friendly. I was able to slaughter my goat and they are halal place too. They do accept order for eid al adha.

I was a big FAN of this farm. We always looking for Halal meat and JB has Halal sign. I've referred many of my friends and now most of our community people go JB for meat and for Qurbani. JB is structured wise better now. But they are very RUDE with the people. I've seen yesterday (Eid Day), Rob was Pushing and hitting an OLD MAN and that oldman fell (Which are not leart from our culture). Some people save the old man. Joe and Rob was screaming (Using F.. word) and Rob was extremely RUDE. I'm not going to BACK JB again and NO MORE recommended others. We'll go to FARMS in Mount Airy, MD

I was big fan of JB farm. I have given qurbani twice there and went to by cow twice. Initially I was so happy with there services. I have stayed inside to see when they do processing. I have not complained anything. Few months back me and couple of my friends went there to buy a cow. We have seen they have improved their structure and not allowing people inside. There is no way to watch what they are doing. We have bought 750lb cow. After come back to home we have doubts about meat. We measured it and found total 200 lb meat which is not even near by 40% as per their expectation of meat. I have complained them and leave it. Recently I went there and bought a goat by $200. That makes me so angry to give this review. I have found 13 lb meat only. Where as owners comment is I should get 40 to 60% and their small size goat is 60 lb. If improving system is the intention to thief’s than its better to keep it open. I have recommended people before to go that farm because of service. But now I feel shame on it.

Rob is very rude. He hits an old man. Joe and Rob both were very aggressive. They got hurt by a cow and they were getting aggressive on the customers. Last year on Eid day they were very aggressive too. I’ve seen two years in a row that type of worst attitude. I will find another Farm for my next Qurbani.

This place is awesome. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the facility is clean and doesn't smell at all, prices are very reasonable, and they do an excellent job. I was especially pleased that they were knowledgeable about humane methods for processing chickens. I would recommend this place without hesitation.
