Ended up here for the first time today. This place is excellent and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. They don’t rush you. The head butcher even took the time to show my husband a carcass and where every cut comes from. We just ate the crab cake sausages and they were awesome. I was concerned they would be over seasoned but they ended up perfect. You could still tell you were eating a sausage. I recommend getting there early on weekends because they sell out very quickly.

My first visit here was unannounced and when I said I was a new customer they quickly offered to take me in the back to see how they operate. I was with a toddler and an infant and yet completely comfortable with them in tow. Everything was very clean! Everyone is very kind, helpful, knowledgable, and willing to answer my questions. Everything I have purchased has been of excellent quality. You pay slightly more than at a wholesale club, and about the same as a grocery store. When you factor in there are no fillers, you are saving money because the weight is still there after cooking. I also bought some chicken nuggets here, and they were made with real chicken and had a light, flaky breading. Delicious - both mom and toddler approved! I will be a customer here for a long time and highly recommended it!

I thought they closed at 2 and they closed at 12. They were kind enough to let me come 10 minutes late. We HIGHLY reccomend this butcher. Friendly service, they were so kind and the steaks are amazing! We go every few months for our annual BYOS partys at our house (Bring Your Own Steak) everyone brings a steak and we sit around the grill cooking and chatting with our friends. Gavinell Steaks make the night complete!

We are from Nebraska, so we've enjoyed some fine beef in our time. The beef we purchased from Galvinell Meat Co in 2012 is superior to any beef we've ever enjoyed. Every bit of it was as tender and delicious as can be. Every time we served this beef was an experience that we savored. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. Although we have found places closer to where we live in Virginia to buy beef we are planning our return trip to Galvinell to restock. If you like good beef, I am telling you this is the place to go.

I'm from Florida.....First visit I was so impressed with the customer service.... The meat was as if I had gotten it right off my own farm..... Awesome......Keep everything just the way it is...... Hard to find....... Meat anywhere else is just meat!!!!

Decided last minute to cook a pig for 4th of July. Called and secured a pig and cooker with basically no advanced notice for them. I wouldn't suggest doing that but wanted to say how dedicated they are. Seemed happy to help and weren't annoyed at all about it. Went out of their way to be accommodating. Pig cooked up great and flavor was awesome. Grill is a large size so bare it in mind when you decide to rent it. They have a loading ramp so getting it loaded there isn't an issue but it is VERY heavy (well made) so have some friends to help you unload or ask for the trailer grill. Overall it was an excellent experience dealing with them and I will definitely be back.
