Used Fauquier's Finest for our hog butchering/processing and for steer share together with another farm. They are humane, clean and very helpful in guiding the cut-sheets. Their nitrate free curing and smoking produces an excellent result, and it draws raves from the breakfast guests at our B&B.

Despite calling and being assured that there would be someone to help my wife load meat into the car, no help was offered or given. My wife, who was 8 months pregnant, had to load a full cow's worth of meat by herself. Had they told me when I called to ask that no one would help, I'd of taken off work long enough to help load/unload. I expected better service.

Worst butcher shop I've ever taken my livestock to. HORRIBLE customer service, dirty conditions, and no responsibility for mistakes made in the packaging department. I will walk through fire before ever bringing an animal back to this place.

Total ripoff. You don't get back what you brought in. Somehow a large 10pt buck was lost and small deer parts were substituted. And it was rotten. This happened several years ago when they used to process deer

Fauquier's Finest is the best!! I have used other butcher shops in the past and Fauquier's Finest cannot be beat. I knew I was not going to be able to get my steer there for my appointment as I was having a hard time getting him on the trailer. I called them and spoke to Tina. She was not upset and gave me another appointment . I also needed help with my cut sheet and she walked me through it with patience of a saint!! Thank you again Tina!! I recommend Fauquier's Finest to everybody!!

I had 2 pigs butcherd there in April 2017.Real friendly when dropping pigs off.But a different story when picking the meat up.We were told the pigs weighed between 260-300 lbs.Lot of meat right?Wrong!I got back 107 lbs. from one pig and 108 lbs. from the other.Ask the secretary why we got back that little bit?She didn't know she said with an attitude.Ask to see the manager and naturally he was not there.We tried for 2 weeks to get in touch with manager,but every time we called,could not get an answer or a recording said the extinsion was unreachable. I was missing 4 ham hocks,the hot sausage had MSD in it when the cut sheet said it would not,and the customers at farmers market said sage sausage was too salty.My wife cooked some up to try,and yes it is way too salty and I like salt. I do not wirte reviews,but I had to warn people about this place.I will never,ever,ever,use this place again.I had to drive 2 1/2 hours one way to get there and this is what I end up with.Do not believe?I have the cut sheets and the sage and hot sausage to prove it.

I find fauquiers finest to be the best processor I have ever worked with. They are so friendly, accommodating and easy going. I have always found them extremely helpful and would recommend them to anyone! I know Other farmer's (especially those larger farmer's like myself who do farmer's markets) who wouldn't trade them for anything!

We have all our pork and beef processed by Fauquier's Finest, and they usually do a really good job. They are Animal Welfare Approved, and continue to make improvements in their processes. Tina, at the front desk, is very helpful with cut sheets and questions. Their website needs a little updating, and I wish they still deboned pork ham and shoulders roasts, but we are generally quite happy with everything we get back from them. They are a vital part of the small farm economy of Virginia.
