I have been going to colonial village for 30 years. They have the best meats and the butchers give me recipes if I ask for guidance. I can do 90% of my food shopping there without the congestion of big food stores. They have the best soft pretzels and a good cheese selection. I love their cheesesteaks and chicken cutlet sandwiches. I buy their pre-made meals and soups which are great time savers. A forever loyal customer.

I love Colonial! They have been very generous and donated pretzels and water many times to my children’s school. Personally I love to go there for the great service, cold cuts and fresh meat. We’ve been ordering our holiday meats and turkeys from there for years. Very grateful to have them in our community.

I have never ever seen a 'MOB Mentality' and why is the person who posted that anonymous. I've only been there hundreds of times and I've never seen any bad service. They are usually busy and most people there are regulars who don't mind being patient. Their breakfast platters are a super good value. I'm going there right now before they close at 7. BEST BREAD SELECTION IN DELCO. I'VE BEEN TO ALL OF THEM.

The store smelled like someone was smoking. I was told the owner smokes in the back. EWWW!! Rude people working there. You could hear one of the employees laughing about a customer from the back. Laughing at what they were wearing. Been there plenty of times. i will never go back! I will stick with Centrella's Deli. Better service and cleaner!! Home made soups and no one smokes in there.

To the Manager: 10-17-2016 I am extremely happy with the helpful advice from Kathy, the catering Manager. For the first phone call to her scrumptious food and for delivery to my car. The food was arranged attractively with parsley, and tiny tomatoes. Her homemade hoagies were delicious, the tomato pie was cut to perfection. Her suggestion to place the tuna hoagies separate all made a difference in the delivery and consumption. The potato salad and coleslaw were really yummy too. My guests were impressed and So was I. MOB MENTALITY OI!

Its a shame the food is great but multiple times my husband and I have been in there the service from behind the counter is extremely rude! I've heard them making jokes about customers & had no shame as if they can speak to the customers however they wish. Job gets done but i will not go back anymore and I will make sure to spread the word of how rude you are spoken to.

Absolutely horrific customer service! Stopped in to pick up last minute supplies for a 4th of July BBQ and was immediately told “better hurry up” because the store employees wanted to close up. As I proceeded to apologize for the tardiness I was given no response and dirty looks. Upon paying for my item, the female cashier snatched the money out of my hands before I could barely pull it out of my wallet. The best part comes upon exiting the store when a male employee follows behind me and says he is going to fight me if I don’t leave and proceeds to slam the door in my face. They’re lucky I didn’t call the police... This is the last time I’ll ever shop at the Colonial Market again. If I could give it zero stars I would.

One of the last Mom & Pop quality markets left! Perhaps the only one left in Delco. Convenient in & out with top quality everything! Their meats and prepared foods are the best in the biz. Great customer service, on the spot butcher cuts, custom ordering, incredible selection and no crazy lines. My only go-to market forever and always. You can even call ahead for your deli order! Top notch all around.

Purchased fillets O Wednesday for a Friday Christmas diner and the meat is bad. The store is closed and unable to exchange for unspoiled meat. Obviously the Christmas dinner is ruined

Been going to Colonial all my life for a variety of purposes and I have not once had a poor experience. Cashiers have always been at least neutral if not friendly, food is consistently high quality, a large array of different foods to choose from, and so forth. All around an amazing little shop and is surprisingly top notch for how humble it is. If you don't feel like making dinner, by the way, but don't necessarily want to get fast food or go to a restaurant- order their hot roast beef sandwiches. They are extremely good, filling, and very fairly priced.

I love this store! I have two little kids and it's the only place I can go without getting overwhelmed. They have lollipops for the kids as soon as you walk in. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I suggest calling ahead with your deli or meat order so you don't have to wait in line and it can be ready for you when you get there. This place is also my go-to for homemade meals when I don't have the time to cook. If you are a busy mom, Colonial will make food shopping SO MUCH EASIER!

Love this place... I have been going here for years and have never once had a complaint... I have used them to cater my aunt's funeral and my brother's graduation party, I have ordered trays from them for Super Bowl parties and fundraising events and at least 2-3 times per week I pick up food from there for dinner and lunch meat for my daughter's school lunches. My Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinner menu even comes from this place. The food is always amazing and staff is always on point with my order. If you're looking for great deli with quality meats, delicious prepared dinners and incredible sandwiches this is the place to go!

I had a coupon for Dietz & Watson American cheese which the cashier took, but did not apply the discount. When I went back in and asked about it, it turns out I got the “wrong” Dietz and Watson American cheese. Same product, same price, no coupon.
