The pork butt and packer brisket I purchased were extremely fresh, a different quality than I've ever gotten from any chain grocery store! I will never buy meat for my smoker anywhere else! They also have elk, goat, venison, bison, etc! Wish I found this place sooner, worth my hour drive.

They go above and beyond for customer service. If you want good quality of meat for a good price...this is the place to go.

Over the last 15 years, I have purchased meat for large barbecue events, and annually asked Chuck to buy me a steer at the Charles county fair. He then has processed the meat to my specifications; aging the beef up to 45 days. All products are vacuum sealed. This is an honest butcher and I have never been disappointed.

After 32 years, I'm giving up on the meat department at those chain grocery stores and making Chuck's my primary meat provider! The employee Donny is very smart and helpful. The bacon is the best bacon I've ever had in my life. And the thick cut ribeyes were so tender it was ridiculous. Can't wait to try my dry aged sirloin. Definitely coming back often!

I placed an order Tuesday to pick up on Friday afternoon to not only drive an hour from my house in Virginia to pick it up for them to tell me it's not ready and it'll be two hours before a truck delivery comes. No one even took the time to even call and say hi ma'am your order won't be ready until 4pm or 5pm. Mind you this order was for a Graduation party on Saturday afternoon. I will never order from the again. Good luck to those of you who do. I am one pissed mom right now. I don't even want to give them one star they need no stars. I would like to add to this review that once I left the store i was called 20 minutes later and told my order had arrived and that if I still wanted it I could pick it up. So I turned around and went and got it. They apologized but I still feel like they need to work on their customer service, call your clients and keep them informed, I was put an hour behind schedule that day and annoyed by the whole experience.
