This is the best butcher around! We drive a half hour for all our meat purchases. Prices are good for prime cuts! They have specialty cuts (you should call and order ahead if you are looking for something particular, they can get it) and other meat related items. I picked up some Peter Luger steak sauce today and we are not even having steaks tonight. Friendly and helpful every time. Thanks!

This place rules. PRO: -they cut meat on site, and don't freeze what they cut. -they can produce cuts that you won't find in a store. -the owner can order just about any animal from a great many suppliers. He's super friendly. -staff keep the shop super clean. -wide variety of products from many different animals. CON: -expensive compared to a grocery store. But you should know that already. -not open on Monday? -honestly nothing is wrong with this place, just go there. Consider me a regular.

We ordered a standing rib roast for Christmas dinner and everyone agreed that it was the best rib roast we have ever eaten. We just grilled a tenderloin, 4/28, from the Chop Shop for my father’s birthday and it was the best meat we have ever eaten ever period. Any restaurant at any price. Tall praise from a family that grew up eating meat selected by a butcher. Supermarket meat is not in the same league.

Excellent products and friendly service. I have gone there multiple times and have never been disappointed. Update: I have been purchasing filets, brats, pork shoulder, ribeyes with absolute satisfaction. Today I was a little lazy, didn’t want to do much tonight, and tried their hamburgers. Now their hamburgers are a blend of hamburger, chuck, brisket and love. These are a must. The taste was amazing. Be careful. I am sure they are addictive.

Went here the other day because my daughter wanted steak for dinner. They had a nice variety of cuts, some I had never seen before. Upon the recommendation of the butcher, I got the Denver steak. It was nicely marbled, and had the right amount of chew to it. The flavor was really good. This was certainly a high quality product. I will definitely be back.

I found this local butcher today as I was searching for a really good Valentine's Day meal for my wife and I. Well ... This place rocks! I came home with two boneless rib-eyes with white truffle butter (as John told me - this can only be found in Italy - so I had to try it). I put the rib-eyes on the charcoal Weber and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Excellent quality of beef. I will absolutely be back!
