It is a standard DECA commissary. They have fresh sushi a sandwich deli and isles of groceries that you would expect to see in every DECA commissary. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Sadly this is the worst commissary we've ever shopped. It's so strange because JBAB isn't far away then there's NSA Annapolis along with Fort Myers all petty close and yet Andrews has the corner market for awful.

Last several visits have been disappointing as the stock levels have consistently been very low with probably 30% of the shelves empty. About 4 of the produce items that we were going to buy today ended up as "let's pass" because stuff had seen better days. Very few cashier's on duty, and very few floor people in sight. Broken eggs on the floor by the dairy case and mess looked to be over an hour old because the eggs were smeared for probably 45 ft across the entire floor and was mostly dried up. Selections across different brands is very noticeably shrinking. Still worth the trip because of the savings, but we end up having to substitute a significant amount of items because of that brand shrinkage..

I have been shopping at this location for 5 years now and every cashier I ever counter was super nice and super Friendly until today when I encounter this non people person, not so friendly with a penny cost personality named Coreatha. The lady was super nasty for no reason. She was constantly slamming our stuffs on the belt after scanning. What really blow me over the top is that my husband forgot an item and went to get it. I had already pay for our grocery, so he came by me and told her that I wanted to pay for the items; there was no one in the line until my husband gave me the item then this couple came to the line. The couple didn't even had their stuffs on the belt yet she proceed to asked them for their ID card while I was still handing her the items. She realized that I was still trying to pay for the items, so she grabbed the item from my hand and stated "that was ridiculous". She scanned my husband ID card and scanned the items, so that's when I decided to walk away before all hell broke loose. This was the most crazy experience. An employee goal is to make sure the customer walked out the store happy since our funds are what's keeping you with a job. Coreatha a little advice for you; if you don't like your job, you need to quit before someone not so generous like me forced you out of there

I would like to see a lower pricing on some things, but overall they're great! Also the baggage personnel very polite and respectful! One of the smaller commissaries I have been to. The only issue I had was the produce specifically the lettuce had been picked through and was not in the best shape. Everything was clean, orderly and affordable. Some things are cheaper else where but generally meat is cheaper. Hands down a better choice than Wal-Mart for quality meat products.

Shopping on base at Andrews is always hit or miss. Half the time they're out of stock on most things but the bigger issues are the employees. Never encountered a group of more unprofessional, miserable people in my life. The attitude you get from some of these cashiers is unbelievable. Far be it from me to expect you to i dunno, DO YOUR JOB. but if you're that unhappy with what you do, then quit. There's two older ladies in particular who usually work @ the self checkout area, so damn rude i swear it makes me wanna walk back out when i come in & see them. Seriously, they really need to re train or hire all new staff.

Yes, I went to the Andrew's Commissary and I had absolutely no complaints. The workers were pleasant...and I gave the bagger a very good tip. I think it was #13 cashier, she also was very pleasant.

Been using this commissary for years and I must say, I love their services. You can't beat the prices and freshness of their produce. I have made comparison with other grocery stores and they just can't beat their prices. I observed one particular worker, Ms. Ronni(?) working in the fruits and vegetables area as if she was shopping for her family (caring). Friendly and helpful staff and commissary for this neck of the wood.

Good grocery shopping prices are good. BX was just ok they are doing some renovations so everything is scatter every where. But good discounts saved 60 bucks on a pair of shoes and 10 on a water bottle so all good.

The food is okay. It's not the greatest you'll find, but it's also a bit cheaper than some other places. Convenience is it's main benefit as long as you don't go during rush hour or you'll wait 15-20 minutes in a line. Remember to tip your baggers or use self checkout because it's expected.

Refrigerated area always empty or full of about to expire things. And baggage crew always give attitude if you do not tip. Very unacceptable as a commissary on a military installation. Especially for soldiers living on post with limited transportation and the post facilities are our first and in some cases only option. And it's just as bad or worst in the last 3 years. Hopefully the Post Commander takes heed to this and take action in bettering this problem!

We had the WORST customer service by far today! It got to the point where my blood was boiling and I had to call the store manager. The self check out cashier literally just stared as us as we were asking for help and she says “do you REALLY think that’s the price of fruit? REWEIGH it”. I was being polite and told her I knew it wasn’t correct that’s why I flagged her down. She didn’t believe us and thought we were trying to scam the self checkout. Instead of helping us she made a big deal and told us that she was going to take the fruit to customer service because we were already in the pay mode by the time buttons were pressed. All I had to do was push “no” to the payment amount and she insisted that we couldn’t do anything about it. She sat there and continued to tell us all the wrong things we did at the self check out and how “we can’t be doing that anymore at the self check out” as if we did it on purpose. She helped other individuals while we sat their aimlessly stuck on the screen that says “store login” so she could approve the transaction. Instead of doing her job and just helping us weigh the item she decided it was a better idea to criticize us and put us down. I truly hope the manager takes care of this issue, I’m sure they are losing customers day in and day out. You would think they would hire people who actually care about our service members. It is disgusting how people are treated by the staff here!

The commissary prices can't be beat! The store is in good order, the bathrooms are always clean and the staff is usually pretty friendly. For some reason they aren't always friendly at the self checkout. They're more hurried but it doesn't keep me from going or from using the self check out.

I enjoy shopping at the Andrews Base Commissary. They have many sales and specials that serves one or many. I very seldom take a shopping list, because l don't stick to it. The less time I have, the more I spend. I shop for many disabled veterans, dependents, and others that can't see their monies worth off base. I save a lot of money and really can stretch a meal if I have to. The staff, workers, baggers are friendly, patient, caring and helpful. I feel like a magnet sometimes, because when I come early to shop, the store fills up quick, everything began to move fast and I'm finished, until next time. The Andrews Commissary is clean, organized, well stocked, constant rotation of products. All I have to say is keep up the good work, keep smiling and keeping me spending. When get home my kids never ask how much I spent, but what I got new.
