Never again the rudest check out girl ever rude is an understatement you can't miss her greasy discussing blond with three inche black roots when I said something to the owner about her unacceptable rudness his response was her teeth hurt, really I thought what's left of them a miserable person as for coustermer service you be the judge I'll never spend on other cent at this business.

I started to buy from Hoglunds about three years ago after my girlfriend had purchased some ribeye steaks for the grill. I was very surprised at the quality and price. Since then I only purchase my meats at this shop as I have never had a bad steak, pork or chicken. I love to grill year round as I have my grill hooked up to my LP house tank with a grill disconnect. I no longer buy meats from the local sopermarkets. The prices and quality at Hoglunds is what keeps me going back. They make a porkroll called a pinwheel that is wonderful grilled in foil at 350 and timed for weight. If you like pork, please give that a try. I don't usually freeze the meat as I purchase the day I grill. If you have not tried them yet I would, if you enjoy grilling this place is the best.

It's got really great prices but the meat always goes bad quickly . If you don't freeze it immediately by the next day it gets a foul odor , also the chicken is always huge , they should cut the breasts into smaller sizes because not everyone is trying to feed an army .

I have been getting meat packs from Biddeford as well a the Scarborough store. This as the first time I was disappointed with the Biddeford store. I asked for all chicken thighs in my family budget pack, and when I got home to divide it, the thighs had back bone attached to them. When I called t say something I was told that's how the always come. I stated that I never got them like that before and was told that someone else must have wanted the back bone, so that's why my thighs didn't have them that time. I must have cut off 5lbs of back bone. I was also told that they could cut them off for me if I wanted, but never had this problem before. So if you get chicken thighs, ask if they come with back bone attached, so you are not surprised like I was.

The service has always been courteous and friendly. They are conveniently located in the center of town with no issues finding parking. Prices for beef are not as competitive and as tender as they once we're however? Hannaford and Market Basket have lower prices on their meats. And quite honestly, Hannaford has much better, more tender rib eye steak priced less. Think I'll be just getting my meat at Hannaford until things go back to they once we're at Hoglunds. Just not worth going out of the way for anymore.

I have been getting meat packs from Biddeford as well a the Scarborough store. This as the first time I was disappointed with the Biddeford store. I asked for all chicken thighs in my family budget pack, and when I got home to divide it, the thighs had back bone attached to them. When I called t say something I was told that's how the always come. I stated that I never got them like that before and was told that someone else must have wanted the back bone, so that's why my thighs didn't have them that time. I must have cut off 5lbs of back bone. I was also told that they could cut them off for me if I wanted, but never had this problem before. So if you get chicken thighs, ask if they come with back bone attached, so you are not surprised like I was.
