I had to return chicken as it was spoiled when I opened the bag. Then today pulled out zip locked legs and as they defrosted I smelled rotten chicken AGAIN. Back to tobey's store forever. Don't buy chicken there. The rest of the meat was delicious.

My fiancé got fresh steaks from here yesterday, he was met by rude staff who were rushing to close. My fiancé thought they closed at a later time and he got there about 10 minutes before their actual closing time. So my fiancé was trying to rush and grab everything he needed and was apologetic for showing up near closing time. The employees did not help him locate any of the meats in the freezers he was looking for (a lot of the meats are not labeled) and were rushing him to the check out counter. They shut off the lights and basically closed up the store while my fiancé was in there and just overall were very rude with their poor attitude towards him. Good customer service is to help your customer find what they need so that they can grab the things they want and go, this however was not the case here. My fiancé brought two ribeye steaks and I just cooked them. After cooking I saw that the steaks had this gross rainbow looking coat over the meat. From what I know this is a sign of bacteria that was on the steaks. I tried a small piece on an end that did not have this odd rainbow coat over it and it tasted horrible! Tasted like how a barn smells! I will never get any meat from this place again! This is the second time I've gotten steaks from them and they have tasted like this...I am not impressed and I will be returning the steaks and ask for my money back.
