My sister was employed for these people and think it’s ok to call her a ni**er lover constantly Bc My sister is 17 years old and this isn’t the first racist remark to ever be said to her. My sister has been with the same MAN for years, and the fact that the word is freely used by WHITE people disgusts me. I called to try and speak to a manager about the situation and apparently “they aren’t able to talk”. So I would definitely prefer nunu’s or Herbert’s. The most unprofessional, RACIST business I’ve ever encountered. I’d rather buy meat in hell. This place is RACIST. My sister even tried to talk to the owners wife about the situation and her words were “ that’s not something my son would say”. So not believing a word my sister said, she quit the job and told them that she doesn’t wanna work for people like that.

The owner of this place is true professional. Going above and beyond for his customers is his modus operandi. He will special order anything you want even if he doesn’t carry it. His meat cutters are very impressive and you can watch them take down an entire beef quarter in a few minutes by hand and saw. Kirk’s U need a butcher simply has no equal.

The best cracklin ever and it's made from chicken! You have got to give it a try! Made fresh to order. They also have a great selection of meats and specialty meats. I love their boudin, especially their cauliflower boudin. The store brand seasoning salt is great too. I would highly recommend swinging by. It is even worth the trip from the interstate for the chicken cracklin alone!

OMG!!! I Just visit Aug. 2018 And They No Longer sell Plate lunches, They had the best plate lunches in Lafayette,La Now all they have is Chili dogs for 1.50 and frito pies 2.50 And when i went to the register, I got Over Charged, I look at my receipt, when i got home And the food was not good. The Chili taste To Much Tomatoes and Hard Seasoning, Now i have to Find a New Place To Eat, Some Real Food, #VERY SAD

Home of the Clucking Quacklin For those unfamiliar with that it's Chicken Crackling. At Kirk's you can also get a hotdog with chili to enjoy on the ride home. Kirk's specializes in Cajun Meats freshly cut with some already seasoned and or stuffed. Kirk's also offers several different freezer specials ranging in size and price. Kirk's is also a small convenience store.
