The staff here are awesome. They were very polite and helpful, and the stuffed chicken and steaks are the best!!and the boudin is to die for.way better than Jerry Lee's. Definitely will be coming back here.great job guys!

Great service. They really know what they're doing here. We had a shrimp and rice stuffed chicken and creamed spinach. We fed 4 ppl for $21. Way better than a restaurant and 1/3 the price.

So this was out first time here. We randomly went because we were nearby. Anywho, my significant other bought some meat but a few things caught my eye. They had watermelon jelly...yes, you read that correctly. Watermelon jelly. Now I'm not a watermelon type of person but my interest. However, I didn't get it because I liked over and saw pork skin, chicken cracklin, & pork cracklin. Immediately my midwestern side was confused because I didn't know the difference between skin & cracklin (no judging). Anywho, William told me the difference & let me sample it. Mind. Blowningly. Good. My little one is SUPER picky & he finished thelittle piece I had plugged the last little bit I had after I shared with my S.O. Needless to say, I went back in the store & bought more. Trust me. Go try it for yourself & let your friends know.

I'll drive across town just to buy some of these fine meat selections. There are other locations, nonetheless. Prepared well, seasoned perfectly (if seasoned), and the best quality of meat I can find in Baton Rouge. To say nothing of the wide variety of side dishes, and prepared meals! Love this joint

Nastiest cracklings I have ever eaten. They were so greasy, it was coming thru the paper bag. The cracklings were like rubber. I will not waste $7.00 again.

The crew at Chris' Specialty Meats always takes care of us. Their food is the best and simple to cook. I love their Boudin, Stuffed Chickens and Hand-Cut Steaks.

Great selections, little pricey. Very willing to accommodate requests. Lots of spices to choose from. Wasn't thrilled that most of it was frozen. They even have great local honey!

Friendly staff. Clean, clean, clean. Preparation are open to your sight. Happily explain how to prepare. Boudin to die for!! Great tamales!! Stuffed boneless chickens out of this world. All sausages delish. Worth every penny.

Bought a Fried Turkey for $50. Followed instructions and heated it at 275* for 45 min. After that ,It was uncooked with the exception of the upper portion of the breast. Had to tear apart and cook for a while longer. It was dissappointing.

Upon walking in I discover so many choices. I have had the brisket with stuffed potato so far and I am completely impressed. Thank you for a great dinner!
