They are busy cooking & shipping to others and carry anything you need anytime. They are now being featured at Planet Fitness. Really disappointed. I dropped my deer off this year wanting to try somewhere closer to home. Pricing was fair. Upon calling to see if my deer was ready they had lost my antlers and had to find them (not a huge deal because they were found) but after going through more then one or two packages of my deer steaks now, I’m very disappointed with their service. The steaks are COVERED in deer fur. It’s not just a little bit that could easily be washed off. It’s terrible and even after washing them off very thoroughly we still have fur in every bite. I’ve never had this issue with any other butcher or meat processor. I will just stick to the place I’ve known even though it’s a 45 min drive out of town.

I bought various meats last week for a special birthday party. The beef, shrimp and crab were wonderful. Also the chief provided me with his special mix of Creole seasoning for my shrimp. It was a real hit. Thank you. Everyone raived about the tenderness of the beef and flavors of crab cakes and roasted shrimp. Thank you.

Best meats in Lexington. If you want tender great tasting meat this is the place to go. A little higher on some things than chain stores but well worth the extra. Wide variety of meats and wild game. Staff always very helpful and work toward totally satisfied customers.

We had our second visit this week. Our baked ham sandwiches were so good! The ground beef patties were for our dinner last night and I was so pleased! Customer service is absolutely excellent! A kind female employee helped me to my car too. I will be back!!

The internet suggests this is a place where you can buy tasso. That's inaccurate: They occasionally have it, but are just as likely not to. And sometimes the butchers won't even know what it is ("what? Oh, don't have it can't get it" *turns to next customer with no apology or goodbye*). Call before you waste your gas.
