I've been going to Brooks Meats for over 10 years. I have never had a bad experience. The meat is fresh and you can't beat their prices. The workers are great; they make you feel like family. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go.

Very expensive. Staff not helpful or nice. Did not even know what I was asking for and when I explained it to her, it was like she couldn't be bothered to come from behind the counter to help me find it even though I was obviously having trouble walking. The store smelled strongly of cleaning product which was very off putting. Update February 2019: I went there to pick up some cottage ham for my sister, otherwise I wouldn't have gone back. It was an entirely different experience. The snarky employee I'd encountered the first time wasn't there. The man and woman who were there were so helpful and even gave me tips on what type of meat to use even though I wasn't buying it there that day. I ended up buyng more than just what my sister sent me for including some chow chow and some caramel popcorn which were delicious. I gave only 3 stars because of my first visit.

I LOVE Brooks meats. The quality of the meat is amazing. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. The thick cut pork chops are fantastic and I can tell you much less per pound then the local grocery store. Geoff and his staff always have great recommendations and each week I leave with another amazing option. Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon, trust me try it!!!! I appreciate the ability to buy local, the produce and the salsa's, jams, and fruit are wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about Brooks Meats! Try the bacon, trust me you will not be disappointed. A try Northern KY treasure.

Great prices on meats and better price on desserts. Cheesecakes $5.00 mini cheesecakes (about 4 slices) $1.50 cant beat it and tastes great.

The people that work there we're very very kind helpful and courteous I would encourage my friends to shop there and have a different experience from a box store that doesn't care whether you're there or not they have a small store with personal attention given just to you and not worried about getting rid of you to get to the next person I highly recommend it

UPDATE: under new ownership and it is obvious. Always out of fresh chicken, the aged steaks are the same price but not as good, seems to be an unorganized business.
