This place stays busy. They have a good selection of quality meats. Service is very efficient, just hope that you don't get in line behind someone with a large order. The place is very clean. They also provide a service for the deer hunters, so that they can get their meat processed, which I think is neat. I forgot to mention that they also have a deli so you can order sandwiches, chips and a drink. Which I have had before and it was pretty good. We go at least once a month, so I'll be back.

I will never use this place again. I had a friend sell me a hog and he sent it there to get processed. They said they called me and left a VM but I never got one. I had to call them to see if it was done. Life happened and I just forgot about it. The owner called me he was the rudest person I have ever talked to. I have never been talked to the way he did me. I’ll never send anything there again and hope no one I know does either. He didn’t even give a thought to the chance of understanding and I apologized for forgetting about it but he didn’t care all he said was “yes you need to come get this and get it out of my way and I am charging you a storage fee”. I told him to keep it. He can donate it or do whatever with it. I’m out.

Huge selection of meats and cuts from every part of the animal. The deli counter not only provides you for orders of specific meat to how you want it, but also sliced sandwich meat. For immediate happiness, you can also get sandwiches made, perfect for lunch. Its a small 30 minute drive but I will be back many times. Nothing beats fresh meat from a quality butcher.

Quartered my deer and brought it to them for the cuts and sausages. My god. BEST SAUSAGE EVER. I was going to make my own sausage , but WHY ? I couldnt have made it as well or as tasty as they did. . Also - I noticed that I was able to get alot more poundage from the deer I brought to them compared to another processor.. Now ... onto the price. Not only FAIR prices, but when you take into account that they are able to utilize more deer from your quarters ... well ... it just all adds up to a quality service with good prices.

Me and a couple buddies drove from about an hour away to buy meat and there was a sign on the door that said we will be closed until the evening because of respects being payed to a coworker who passed. I have to say that I was pretty disappointed to come all that way and them be closed after looking inside and seeing the butcher working anyway.

Boone's has lost my confidence. I've processed three deer with them. This final one was my last. I shot a 150 lb buck through the heart and got 21.9 lbs back. When I inquired about it they said the loins were gone and thought it was road kill. The meat was nasty, tough, and obviously spoiled by adrenaline. This clearly wasn't my deer. Finally, when calling to inquire, I was treated rudely and arrogantly. I will take my business elsewhere.

We've been using Boone's for about 3 years now and all I can say is WOW! The quality of the meats are exceptional for the price. This is how we've been able to eat on a budget without starving ourselves or eating garbage food. Thank you for never using preservatives and for providing the best quality meats at the most reasonable prices so that our family can eat delicious, wholesome meals. Your staff is absolutely amazing and I feel each time that I go in that they really care about my business and they are super friendly and helpful. Definitely the local family owned feel. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great quality meats. Two thumbs up and we'll keep going back! The new expansion is AMAZING and gets me excited to see all the new items you stock.

Boone's is in my home town, Bardstown, KY. I have been going there for 40 years. I now live in Louisville so it is a bit of a drive, but every few months we load the car with coolers and drive out. All my steaks and porkchops come from there. Also they have a good line of spices and Bloomfield Mill products are good and even have gutton free. I easily recommend it.

First trip to Boone’s after driving from Louisville, and unfortunately will probably be my last. We arrived later than expected, and hurried to look around as they were closing soon. Approached the register, and the clerk was complaining about all the customers to the customer in front of us, and how they won’t leave, and she wished they would turn the lights out on them. After it was now my turn, my card was having issues due to their system, and my bank not cooperating. She told me to remove my card, in which I did, and this process went a couple times, the machine told me do not remove my card, I mentioned that to her and she then was loudly yelling at me to remove my card. I said to her that she didn’t have to be rude, and she continued to argue with me. I was very embarrassed at this point and just wanted to get out. I walked out with my family and we were conversations amongst ourselves, and she opened the door, and yelled EXCUSE ME!!! We were not talking about her what so ever. I have never had an experience like this in public ever. I was very saddened as we really liked the store.

Dear Sir. I found glass in the deer summer sausage that I got from you last year. I talked to your daughter about the glass in the deer summer sausage. She said no refunds. But she would swap it out for more deer summer sausage. I don't want any more deer summer sausage that could have glass in it. My husband and I came down on last Friday. I show you a video of deer summer sausage that had glass in it. You said that you didn't know how it got in it. We show you the plate that had the glass in the deer summer sausage. And you pick up the glass and look at it. That when you said you didn't know how the glass got there. And we have only talk to you one time. So you did see the video and you pick up the glass off the plate where the deer summer sausage was. Yes you did offer me and my husband $100.00 for the plate with sausage and glass,so you could desroy it But what about the safety of your customers?
