I grew up in this area and always take time to visit Woudstra's when I come home. They have fantastic paper-thin dried beef at a quality that I cannot find anywhere at home. They also host a stand at the annual Tulip Festival each May where they serve their brats, which are equally delicious. Highly recommend, always appreciate being able to support a local small business - especially one with such tasty products.

Usually go for the bacon and iowa pork chops. Got some dry aged steaks and they were awesome as well!

My family and I were in town visiting from Minneapolis and stopped in for our traditional favorites. We have people in Sioux Center and many of us were raised nearby so this wasn't our first visit, but it was the first time we were invited to take a sneak peek into the hard work that goes on behind the counter. A lovely lady noticed us watching them and gave us a little tour of the the back area of the meat market. It was such an unexpected and rare treat getting to see how our favorites have been made throughout the years. Truly special and telling of genuine hospitality.
