Was ok. Did not like the fact you could only get crawdads between certain hours, especially since i drove over an hour to get there. And there wasn't much of a meat selection out when i went.

This place is great, have only shopped small so far but have big plans next spring/summer for Live Crawfish. They currently cater too and it all looks so yummy from a southern girl.

Taylor's came recommended from a neighbor who is from Louisiana. Its a 25 minute drive from my house but well worth. Boudin is excellent. Customer service A+, more than willing to prep cracklins on the spot. I purchased a variety of items including the jalapeno crawfish cornbread stuffed chicken. This is a whole chicken so I thought it would be a great dinner for the family. Needless to say, I ate the whole chicken. (I made other food for the family). Seasoning is spot on, fresh, not overpowering. This place does it right. Keep it up.

They offer a wide variety of Cajun going from crawl fish to quail and alligator with that Cajun kick. You can by it out of deli to take he or have hot food there

Ellis Taylor and company are fantastic! They were set up at harvest homecoming serving piping hot, refreshingly delicious gumbo and seafood balls with a flavor out of this world! Highly recommend stopping by their meat shop and get it while the gumbo is hot and the meats are cold !!!

This is the real deal here folks. Got the 5lb crawfish special with corn, potatoes, and sausage. Crawfish were huge and tasted great. Their seasoning is top notch. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Not a whole lot is better in life than a mess of good crawfish and a cold beer. Thank you for bringing the Bayou to Indiana.

Had lunch today. Everything was fresh and obviously homemade. If you want lunch you better get there early because when it's gone it's gone. Anyone who hasn't tried some of their amazing products is missing out. Ellis is a great guy and truly cares about quality products and friendly service.

Best cajun food in the Louisville area. They dont advertise very much, but if u want authentic etoufee, gumbo or the best crawfish and corn soup, this is your place. They are big LSU fans ao you know they are great people. GEAUX TAYLOR'S AND GEAUX TIGERS

Firstly let me say I love garlic, bell pepper, and onion but being from Southern Indiana the closest I’ve gotten to Cajun food is boxed rice. All that changed with Taylor’s opened. The products they offer are made with love and there isn’t a word to describe their level of customer service. I wouldn’t even call it customer service you might as well be family waking in there. Do yourself a favor and walk in there and if you don’t know what some of the items are just ask them they’re friendly as all get out. They had to explain to me what a boudin ball was and now I can’t get enough of them. Thank you for your business, I’m proud to support it.

OK this place is amazing. We bought some of everything. Can't wait for summer cook outs. We got salmon, burgers, stuffed sasauge, a stuffed chicken, twice baked potatoes, crawfish dressing, stuffed mushrooms.... on our first visit! The nice man gave us a Boudin Ball to sample as we shopped. After eating that we bought 4 of them! We plan to make this place a weekly stop.

Picked up a stuffed steak roll, had their sausage rolled up in it, put it on the grill and it was amazing! Pork loin as well wrapped in bacon, both exact amount of seasoning and were delicious. If you crave traditional cajun food, they have it. Can't wait to get back and pick up some frog legs!

Taylor’s is a wonderful addition to New Albany! Love this charming market/eatery. Every time my native Louisianan parents are in New Albany, we have to make a stop at Taylor’s! Love the selection of frozen entrees, meat pies, and boudin balls! We normally get the frozen crawfish etouffee for quick meals. Also, we’ve tried the Cajun Power spaghetti sauce and Cajun Power sloppy joe started that they carry in store! Literally everything we’ve tried has been fantastic. Also, the live crawfish were delicious and fresh. Taylor’s surpasses all my high standards from growing up visiting New Orleans/Louisiana!

Louisiana Native here. Was very excited to have a Cajun Meat Market available. This place did not disappoint. Meats were cut perfectly and seasoned well; options available if you want cuts not seasoned. Fresh boudin and cracklin tasted just like home. If you truly want authentic Cajun meats and a taste of Southern Louisiana style cooking please go to Taylor's Cajun Meat. I am a lifelong buyer. Meats from regular grocery stores just are not as good!!

Stopped by Taylor's yesterday for the first time after having several people recommend them. Bought a stuffed chicken, stuffed mushrooms and stuffed jalapeños. All was great, especially the stuffed chicken with crawfish etouffee. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
