Very deceitful and unprofessional business. They claim their meat is from their farm while in reality it is not. They have no animals on their farm. They claim that their meat is from a nearby farm. Only a couple pieces are. Most of their meat is sourced in from other states. Question them on what pieces are actually from their farm or their Mills farm. Most of the meat isn't even from There. Their pork is not raised on either farm and shipped in. There are times they will sell meat that is old and blackened. They will also force their employees to sell meat that has been sitting in a cooler too long and pretend that meat is all fresh when it is actually brought in frozen and thawed in a sink. Chicken is raised in horrible "cage-free" conditions that are frankly abusive from terrible and elusive Amish farms. Employees are given the bare minimum when it comes to pay. They are not paid competitively and denied raises but expected to do the work of senior management while not being paif for it. They are not given vacation days, pay raises, or full training and are denied lunch breaks.

Went in for a ham steak and they were out so I was kind of bummed , when I told the associate what I was looking to use it for ( ham and bean's ) he recommended I try the smoked pork chop's . Couldn't have given me a better option I now use the smoked pork chop's over any other ham for ham and bean's Absolutely delicious Thanks, Dave

I am angry about the last reviews! I have been a Moody Customer since they came to AVON. They are the most wonderful people to serve and help you. The staff are fantastic and do everything they can to make your event perfect. You must TALK WITH THEM and they will help you accomplish and meet your needs. They have worked with me for years preparing my orders (large and small). It is all about communication and they have never disappointed me. MOODY IS THE BEST!!!

Really like this place. For those who like cheap meat not raised humanely and filled with antibiotics and hormones, this is NOT the place for you. I wavered between a 4 and 5 rating only because it is a bit pricey, but then they are not mass producing like factory farms. Watch the documentary "Food Inc.", and you'll NEVER eat meat from Walmart again. This is wholesome food. I would love to see them carry grass fed butter and cream. I'm happy to have a good, old fashioned butcher close to home.

This place is awesome!!! The service is great and they really take care to make sure what you purchase won't leak or drip. Once I cooked up the meat I ordered I can happily say this was by far the best chicken I've ever purchased. It was incredibly tender and easy to cut. The roast I order was great as well. It didn't have a ton of fat and the marbling was great. I've recently purchased some ground beef and I am looking forward to tasting that. I will keep coming back to this place.

I have been shopping here for years. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If you're not sure what cut to buy, they'll ask what you want to cook and suggest the best cut for your needs. If you're planning a special dinner, if you work with them ahead of time, they will order what you need and have it ready for you on the day you want it. Quality of all cuts are top notch! Yes, you will pay more for your meats here than at a supermarket, but the quality is worth the price.

Good over all place to visit, the prices keep me from going more, i've bought and compared Ribeye steaks from Moody and Sams Club and could not tell much difference. And not worth the near 4x price difference. But good overall

Repeat customer!! Just got screwed over on a pork shoulder. Called it in earlier this week and told them I had to have it before Friday so I can smoke it for my 4th of July party. I show up and it's not cut and all I get is a "sorry, we got the dates mixed up". COMPLETELY SCREWED ME WEEKEND UP!!!!

I'm from out of town and looked these guys up on google, and these guys were amazing. I came in and bought a huge sirloin and was not disappointed. It was the best sirloin I've ever had. These guys were nice and professional the whole time. They even threw in a bonus for being a first time customer. If I'm ever in town again, I will be going back. A+++
