This is our new go-to place for meats, for each week. Why get your meat from a chain store where you have no idea on the quality when you can go and shop from a local butcher who gets everything local and who knows the farmers? This place is very nice for high quality meats.

Best. Brats. Ever. I avoid brats at gatherings because I never like them. Sometimes it's the flavor, sometimes they're gritty, but there's always something that makes me regret my choice. But Schneider brats are incredible! Great product combined with small-town friendly people...what's not to love? Keep up the great work! P. S. They sell meat boxes and Steak of the Month Club/Brat of the Month Club. I got my husband the Brat of the Month Club gift certificates for Christmas this past year and he loved them!

A friendly family owned and run butcher... Good quality meats and products available here.. not your bulk chainstore prices.. but you are buying quality... the variety of brats and cuts are enormous. . I lost track over thirty... I have sampled most... and have yet to come across one I did not like.. They are very much focused on pork.. Which is my favourite meat to work with.. Ask any Eastern European ... pork rules.... I drive from the Missouri side at least once a month to stock up on my Pork supplies.. and I try a few of the spices and marinades on offer.. .. if you don't make your own "secret sauce" then these marinades will make a good replacement. . My issue is with this place is... no matter how hard I try to stick to budget. I always walk away with more than planned and budgeted for... but it is worth it... lol...

My family just moved to Waterloo and we love the small town atmosphere. Having a place with such an excellent meat and deli selection has made our appreciation that much greater. Sure, we could always make the shorter drive from where we live to one of the chain stores, but it's worth it to us to see the friendly faces and personable people at Schneiders. About a week ago I asked a manager about the possibility of stocking my favorite beer and this Sunday I walked in and there it was waiting for me! We are happy customers for life!

This is the best place to buy meat and BBQ sauce. They make their own. Our favorite is the origional but they're all good. They're locally owned and sourced. Everyone there is always helpful and attentive. The meat is fresh and doesn't seem to have fillers/dyes/preservatives like most other places. Because of that though we use or freeze ours after 2 or 3 days. Also, it is super clean. All the workers always wear gloves and every time I'm in there at least one of them is cleaning something. My only complaint is that they run out of rotisserie chicken a lot. Probably because it's freaking delicious and word has gotten out. When people's only complaint is that they want you to take more of their money, I'd say you're doing pretty well. :)

We go here every month to get our meat because we know that we that we are getting the best meat in town. The people who work there are so polite and Happy to wait on you. My mom and dad has been going there for a lot of years and when my mom passed away now we go there with my dad. You can't go wrong with this place. Once you try it you will go back.

The only place we buy meat. I call and place an order about every 6 months. They package it to order and freeze it for me. When I pick it up I am never disappointed. They debone and season my pork roast and ground round is very lean. Always friendly and helpful Will only shop for meat there.
