Super friendly people with not just local beef but crafts from other local producers and artists. They even have local rolled butter. The selection of steaks was limited but after it found its home on the grill the quality of the meat was apparent. The filet was super tasty and the ribeye was excellent. Definitely come and buy local instead of big food

We visited Tate Meat & Market for the first time yesterday evening. We were greeted with smiling faces and had a very pleasant experience. We bought a large steak which has well priced and tasted incredible! We also got a pound of thick cut bacon to cook this morning. We will begin buying all of our meats there!

Best meat...steak, chicken, pork chops and bacon...you can get. Steak especially, if you dont know the difference between walmart steak and good steak, try them once, you'll be hooked. Friendliest staff you ever met.

We’ve purchased several items from the Tate Meat Market including filets, fresh bacon, ground meat, pork belly and most recently, beef short ribs. It’s all been delicious and fresh. The staff there is very helpful and friendly. Good food, especially meat is harder and harder to find now days. Keep up the good work folks!

Love supporting our local business. Custom cut meat options or buy from the counter. The milk is delicious, if you try the milk you will never buy any other. The Salmon has been the best we have found. Be sure to check out the frozen veggie choices. The eggs are tastier as well. Need something special and don't see it be sure to ask Jennifer.

I saw that there was a butcher on sight and wanted to know if there was any black pudding for sale. Needless to say but was looked at like I was mad. They were closing and had the displays packed away even though it was an hour before closing as stated on the hours of operation. Not impressed with the customer service or lack of knowledge.

I love this place!! Jennifers meal specials are so convenient. We got the pork chops and sweet potatoes, I have never enjoyed pork chops more in my life. They were cut to perfection and melted in my mouth!

We came up here for the week of Thanksgiving and stopped by. They have such a large selection of beef and pork with the options for grain or grass fed. The meat is local and comes from the owner's livestock. It's nice to shop somewhere that has such a high standard for quality. Prices are reasonable for the Hugh quality. They also have cheese and milk available as well. Also gift items are there. The staff is nice and helpful too!! Very pleasant experience and will be sure to come back!

People are great, knowledgeable. Never got a bad cut of meat. You need to change your hours on your Google. Just drove 30 minutes to find out you were closed at 5.
