You can tell Mitch has a lot of passion for quality meats. I know this because as a former chef myself, I share that passion and recognized it immediately. Ive only been here once to buy a full packer's brisket for smoking. It was the best I've done so far and attribute my success to the quality of the product i started with. It was very much worth the cost. Its always been a pleasure to work with, or buy from those in the industry that really know their "stuff" and Mitch is one of those guys. Highly recommended!!

The most amazing food buying experience of my life. I went in wanting to buy a pork butt because I craved bbq. I was clueless about what to buy, what to do, and how to do it. Mitch took the time to walk me through everything I need to know when it comes to cooking pork butt. He even seasoned it and gave me some homemade BBQ sauce to go with it. The two ladies working with him were wonderful. All around perfect experience.

We’ve purchased our holiday meats from Mitch for the last couple of years. The tenderloins are amazing, the turkeys for thanksgiving are fantastic, and every steak we’ve ever purchased from here has been perfect. Recently we started buying our chicken here (at the recommendation of a friend) and it’s hands down the best chicken I’ve ever tasted. We won’t buy chicken anywhere else! AND - he has already grilled chicken and salmon for something quick. The grilled salmon is always cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

They are new in town and boy am i glad they are. This has to be my new favorite sandwich shop i can one stop for my seafood or grab a steak and on my way to the gym pick up a killer sandwich. Overall the only thing lacking for this new addition to Roswell is a 6th star if you get a chance to stop by you will agree.

The owner took a personal interest in our order and took the time to educate us on various meats and specific cooking methods. The USDA Prime Filet and NY Strip we purchased were fantastic! Just go visit. If you enjoy quality steak but you're afraid to mess it up, just go. They make it fool proof. I know because I'm the fool they proofed against. Ask kathy or mitch any questions you have and you'll start asking yourself why you ever bothered going to a steakhouse.

We went searching for a butcher shop in our new neighborhood and came across this absolute gem today. You can fill up on all the samples you like while marveling over the mouth-watering cuts of meat, fish, sausages, and other delicious options. As soon we you walk in, the quality of both food and service is obviously outstanding. We were in search of rib-eye steaks, and Mitch has at least 3 different options. These are some of the best steaks we’ve had in our lives, and we look forward to feeling like family at our neighborhood butcher.

Went in before close tonight and met Mitch and the woman who worked with him and they couldn’t have been more welcoming. Sounthern hospitality. Born and raised in GA and just moved back from OK/TX and it’s the best steak I’ve had considering that’s angus county. This is where I’ll by all my meats. AND BISCUITS

Mitch answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel like an idiot for the basic (and most likely obvious) questions I had about various cuts of meat. Everything is clean, fresh and amazing. Mitch knows his stuff and shows amazing customer service. Our first visit, we called one minute before they were closing and he stayed open to wait for us to get there. When we arrived, 15 minutes after closing, he still took time to explain everything to us to make sure we got the right cut. I asked him about seasoning the steaks and instead of just telling us, he had us come back to show us how to season it. It was a fantastic experience and I will continue going back as long as they are there. Best butcher shop experience I've ever had - and I've been to a LOT.

Custom hand-cut cut steaks, beautiful sushi-grade fish, hard-to-find requests, quick take-home dinner items... I was really amazed by their quality, selection, and service. Mitch himself is an encyclopedia of culinary knowledge, and even with years of cooking experience under my belt he definitely took me to school! Shopping there has taken me back to my childhood of the local butcher shop. I thought places like this were lost, and maybe you have too. Consider checking them out... I think you'll thank me!

Just stopped in to pick up provisions for Christmas dinner and was very pleased with my experience. I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in and given the "tour" since it was my first time visiting. The staff was very engaging and willing to help me find what I was looking for and made great suggestions. Mitch was very personable when I ordered and took the time to make sure I got what I wanted and was satisfied. I also enjoyed some of the hot chili for lunch - exceptional. I'd heard about this place for a while and regret that it took me so long to get there. Looking forward to many future visits.

There are very few places in the world who can match this kind of customer service. I was unfamiliar with a cut of meat that I saw and Mitch took the time to explain in detail what it was, how to cook it, how to cut it, and he even took it out of the package and spiced it then repackaged it for me so it would be easier when I got home. See those spice blends above the Fish cooler. BUY THOSE. 10/10. 11 out of 10 would recommend.

Stopped in here to pick-up lunch with a co-worker. I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this shop is! So much character inside on the walls. You can spend at least 7 minutes looking at all the cool displays they have. I got the Julia sandwich and it's HUGE! It is beyond delicious. Next time I'm going to try the pastrami....that's what my co-worker got. She only let me have one bite Apparently they have different soups when they offer the lunch menu [wednesday-friday 11am to 2pm] and today I had the Cheesy New York Strip soup. It is OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!!! I sampled the chili too - they let you try out the soups in decent sized cups - and I'm definitely coming back for that next time. I'll recommend this place to everyone!! Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu.
