Better meat cannot be found anywhere. Now that I live in Atlanta, I stock up every time I visit relatives in the area! The smoked chops, smoked bacon, and sausage are all amazing, and I also love to order steak, fresh chops, hamburger meat, and Boston butts from them.

I've always gone by Jones when I was visiting family down south and loaded up. A few pounds of their smoked sausage makes a great gift. Since it's getting colder I guess I could have it shipped up here in Atlanta, but it's a nice drive. I just told a colleague about it and I wouldn't be surprised if he takes off and shows up there soon.

My main visit to Jone’s Meats is to buy the fresh pork belly and am always satisfied until today. I purchased $80 worth of “fresh pork belly” and returned home to discover that the Fresh bacons were frozen like the one I purchased from Publix. It was very crowded in the store on Saturday. I took the two big brown bags handed to me without checking them. Did not want to hold the line. So I will definitely check the brown bags with my next visit.
