This place is very good. I haven't been to many butcher shops in the ATL area, but Heywoods is great and I get there as much as I can. Always quality meats and very helpful staff. Patrick is a great guy and you can tell he loves his business. We've purchased everything there from a big reserved turkey for a family holiday visit to awesome deli meats for work lunches to outstanding sausages to clutch steaks to fresh trout. They have it all and it is all top of the line. Only complaint is my first visit I got headcheese and it blew my mind, now they never have it! What a tease.

Heywood 's is one of the best kept secrets in the Marietta / East Cobb area. The meat, fish and sausage is of a much higher quality than what's available at even higher end grocery stores. I am extremely impressed with your professional staff who provide high standards of service. And your store is a wonderful showcase and working butcher shop at the same time. The staff removed the pin bones from the fresh Georgia trout I bought. And provided recommendations on which of your excellent sausages to serve. Thanks Heywood's, I'll be back!

Beef is overpriced and the selection isn't huge. The sausages and pork however are fairly priced.

All of their products are made with integrity and pride. Locally sourced animals are used and they make a variety of specialty sausages. Can't find the sausage you want? Try Heywood's. Chances are, if they don't have it, they can make it. Their smoked deli ham is to die for!

Awesome to find Heywood's where big box supermarket chains have nearly put an end to the neighborhood butcher shops. Fresh, locally sourced products! I bought a beef brisket (cap end). After a liberal amount of my own rub and over 8 hours in the smoker, the results were superb. I'll be back!

Heywoods is a must visit if you are a meat person, especially if you appreciate top quality and variety. They always have a wide variety of sausages, some staples and some stuff you have never seen before and might never again. The beef is fantastic, especially all the wagu cuts (go with the wagu flank steak, I cant stress that enough). This place is absolutely great. I don't give 5 stars often. Heywoods deserves it.

This is a hidden and undiscovered gem. Patrick stands above all other butchers and artisanal meat professionals with his well balanced high quality, yet well priced, meats. He must have the best breakfast sausage and prosciutto in America. That's not a small statement. At least I have never tasted meats this good on this side of the Atlantic. Great local Butchers. Every time I go to Heywoods it takes me back to the way things used to be. I can remember all through out my childhood when we needed meat we always went to the butcher shop. They knew us by name and remembered what we typically purchased. And its no different to Heywoods. Patrick and the fellas at Heywoods will treat you right and take wonderful care of you! If you're into artisanal sausage and charcuterie, Heywoods is one of the best in town. Their hours make it a little difficult to make a random stop on the way home midweek, but it's so worth it to stop by when they're open. I love the dark forest ham, Taiwanese sausage, duck pastrami, lingucia and genoa salami. Their smoked fish is great, too.
