My husband and I decided to try this place for my 30th birthday lunch yesterday (4/24). We walk in and smell the amazing aroma of smoked meats. My mouth instantly started to water. I got a chopped brisket sandwich and my husband went for the pulled pork. We took our food to go and ate it elsewhere. That brisket was so dry and so awful it was literally crunchy. The meat tasted like it had just been thrown on the smoker with no rub. It literally hurt my throat swallowing the meat but I was hungry and payed 42 dollars for our food. I got some jerky too (3 packs at 7 bucks a piece). My husband's pork was just as dry and awful. You had to have massive amounts of sauce just to eat the sandwich. Needless to say, we will not be going back. Their meats were really highly priced as well. I mean 19 dollars for 2 sandwiches and some tasteless mac and cheese? It was truly and awful experience. 2 thumbs down!

The place smells amazing and it is so refreshing to have a REAL butcher (who is also a chef) there to help. We bought pork belly and John cut it to the size I wanted. We also were able to purchase kangaroo. Wonderful selection of meats and jerky. John, Ellen, and Jessica were very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I love this place.their salmon prices are a great price and fresh every week.the best salmon I've ever had.and they have pasture raised chickens.very hard to find.they go out of their way to please.and they will package it in portions you specify.staff is real nice

Since relocating to GA, this has been my meat source. They are very family oriented and it's all about pleasing the customers! I love that any package or meat can customized! I get a meat package every month and my whole family is please. We don't do pork and they always have a great selection of substitutes. I love the Buffalo chicken dip. I can get my meat fresh or frozen and the spices are awesome!!! I call ahead and pick up when it works for me. Love this place. They have everything deer, lamb, chicken, turkey, salom, frog legs....its great.

This place is new and we visited during the first week and were very pleased. It's clean and meat that is offered looks great. I bought two steaks to prepare for dinner for Father's Day and they were great. A much better quality than what you would get a Kroger or any other grocery store around town. We hope this place stays so we can enjoy it.

The minute I walked in I was in heaven! Excellent customer service, great prices, and they're willing to work until they give you exactly what you want. The meats are savory and cut to perfection. I've found my second home! It's great to have a butcher shop in the neighborhood. Reminds me of back home in Philly!

Purchased baby back pork ribs from here yesterday and after going straight home to cook them, they were bad. They were not fresh, and you could tell they had thawed out at an unsafe temperature and smelled like they had sat in the blood for a really long time. We did not attempt to eat them. I will not be coming back here. I was very disappointed though because I could have went to Kroger and purchased better quality meat for a lesser price.

I've been going to Findley's for about two years now and have recommended it to everyone I know. David, John and the rest are some of the most helpful and knowledgeable people you'll find. Any kind of meat you want they have it. Need advice on what to cook or how to cook it? They have that too. Hands down, the best place I've ever bought meat.

I have been using this shop for all of my meat for over a year an half. I bulk buy the meat I need for my meals and have found that I have a hard time with even restaurants as I am so used to the extremely high quality of the food I prepare at the house. My daughter requests the ribeyes as rewards for good grades. I cant say that I'm upset with her choice. Excellent customer service along with a depth of knowledge (excellent advice on my first brisket) I could not be more satisfied. Cube steak, chicken breasts, chuck roasts, fresh sausage, ribs, and steaks. Try them out if your on the fence. You'll be as satisfied as I am and you'll find it hard to go back to the big grocery stores. They have earned my business and I really recommend it.

Today my family ordered 2 turkeys from the shop. Last year the price for a fried Turkey was $67. When we ordered the Turkey over the phone the lady quoted a price of $67 we put a deposit down and when we arrived the price was $139 for a fried Turkey. Not only was the quote given was far left but the price of the Turkey cost almost tripled. Instead of them honoring the price that was quoted they refused and by it being the day before Thanksgiving we were hustled knowing it's to late to go anywhere else. I am totally disappointed in this place it has changed dramatically from the day it opened in my opinion take you chances somewhere else!

Mixed feelings. Great meats but would recommend not getting frozen. I bought beef short ribs, 4 whole chickens all previously frozen. When thawed, rancid. (Just bagged and tossed the ribs a few minutes ago, house reeks). The fresh items were awesome. Sadly, tossing a lot of $ in the trash this trip.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I went in the Butcher Shop to purchase meat only to find out that every piece that I opened after being thawed out was so stinky and old. You won't know this because the bags are sealed and frozen. I lost money buying from this place. Their was no need to take it back because I would probably get more bad meat. I will never go back here and I will never recommend anyone get their meat from this place unless you want to get sick or get your family sick. You're better off going to publix, Kroger or a different meat shop where the meat is not frozen and you can have a better look.

Always helpful and friendly. I liked the selection. From fresh and frozen meats to quick fix sides. Quality ribeyes and pork chops. Far above the chain stores in the area. Can't forget the dog treat section! Definitely worth a visit.
