Very clean well stocked latin food store. Their prepared food is delicious and reasonably priced. Only 4 stars cause I just wish the store was a bit larger, its a little cramped, but for the space they have, it's very well kept.

If your not Latino then expect your food in your tray to be light, and to be over charged for your meals. I have bought a meal and sent some one who is Latino to get the same food and there is a great difference in the amount of food they served in either meal. This has happens on numerous occasions. This bodega does not treat everyone equally I will not be going to this racist store anymore.

I went in with high hopes of a good Tampa Cuban. Not only did it take forever they still managed to get a plain sandwich wrong. Instead they globbed mayo all over and still marked the bag plain and sold it to my Hubby. Oh and they refused to make it right so even if they screw your order up they will not help you once they get their grubby hands on your cash. If you decide to go I truly hope you have a better experience than me.

Dirty little place. White rice has little bugs in it, I don’t think their rinsing it properly before cooking so make sure you get beans on the side so you can take the little nat style bugs out. Common for rice to have but that’s why you rinse rice well before cooking. I’m bilingual and speak very well, but if you don’t know Spanish they WILL definitely give you poor portions poor selection of meat because they know you won’t say anything - and check receipt cuz you’ll probably get over charged too. Lol all positive reviews are those prob written by owners friends family who may work there. Food is just ok but DEFINATELY NOT Cuban or Puerto Rican cuisine- more like Mexican or not even because their beans lacked any authentic flavor. Cuban bread sucked white bag plastic liner I’ve had better at Publix. I would think a place like this would at least have fresh bread but nope. Try not to look to hard at floors walls or food prep areas because then you won’t want to eat. You also don’t get to pick what meat you want although it’s right in front of you- they make you take older meat prob from day before.... you can ask but they won’t give it to you saying they have to sell the other first. That left me in complete shock. Imagine going to publix and saying no I’d like that piece please and they say no I can’t give you that one I have to get rid of this one first

Excellent home made Spanish style food ready to eat or to go. Every day there are breakfast almost the same American and Latin food like bacon, mangu or mash plantains, potatoes, etc. By lunch there are several different plates with different daily menues. Also there is a grocery store and a meat market in there. Do not look for something neat like Publix but the food worth it. I would highly recommend it.
