I ABSOLUTELY love this place. I have not seen a decent butcher in I can't remember when. They have a variety of meats, as well as, cheese, deli meats, olives, honey, jams, rice, bones for the dogs (and soup ;)). The people who own and work here are so helpful and patient. I will be back and I will be recommending this place to everyone!

This is a real butcher shop with knowledgeable owners who source the best meats, and know what they're doing. They have reasonable prices, and great selection. Cline’s Custom Meats celebrated the first anniversary of their shop in San Marco today. You've got to stop in give them a try!

Got a tomohawk ribeye and lobster tails from here. Pricing was extremely fair and quality of meat was amazing! Highly recommend for great meat. Might try the wagyu beef steak next!

Checked out Cline's for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised--it was a clean, easy buying experience and the guy behind the counter cut me six evenly sized filets for a family grill out. They were PERFECT cuts of meat. Probably the most perfect filets I've ever purchased in Jacksonville. Right around the corner from my San Marco office, Cline's is definitely my new butcher...

Super pleased to have this gem in our neighborhood. Open 7 days a week and serving up great meats. Got prime dry aged NY Strips last night. Marbling and flavor were top notch. It is a bit pricey but there is no comparison between choice grade supermarket meats and what they have. I have also had ribeyes and fillets and all were awesome. Will keep going back. Love supporting the locally owned business as well.

We stopped in for the first time this weekend. It is not a wide selection, but it is built for flavor. I finally found a great duck breast!! Not a whole duck, like I've found other places. I had it tonight for dinner, and it was the best duck I've had in a while. I just loved it and will be back again!

There are several places in this growing food town where you can get a good strip steak to grill with local veggies. But not a cut like the one you"ll get at Cline's...not to mention duck...lamb...its a new arrival, and my guess is its gonna be around a long, long time!

It's wonderful having this place just down the street. While I love it when they have bavette cut for steak, my 2 faves are the Merguez ( lamb sausage ) and the pimento cheese they carry in the case.

Let me start this review by saying that I do not live in Jacksonville. I was looking for something of a specialty item for awhile, and could not find it in and around my city. After one call to Cline’s custom meats, I was informed that they could get what I needed in less than 24 hours, and that they only needed to know how much I wanted. Needless to say I was beyond happy with the customer service and made a two hour trip to complete the purchase. For anyone in and around Jacksonville, I highly recommend Cline’s custom meats!!

Small market shopping gives life to everyday eating and Cline's Custom Meat does just that. It has ample parking and is located across from Good Dough, one block from the San Marco Library. Perfect for a scheduled or impromptu visit. The shop may be small but everything in it is selected with care... Two main cases with everything from house made lamb sausage to roasts. Selections will vary. One uncharacteristically thrilling frozen case, featuring the highest quality seafood, quail, ground bison. My mind was racing with stay in dinner date options. One refrigerator with cheese, olives, smoked salmon etc. I am very into cheese and his selection included 2 of my favorites. The owner opened a jar of cow goat blend feta, I believe he said, it was smooth and is a definite crowd pleaser. One rack of French Pantry bread, yes you read that correctly, and local produce. As well as Cross Creek honey, select spices, and nuts. One stop shopping. Truly a pleasure. My dad and I were so caught up talking to the owners we shamefully didn't formally introduce ourselves to him and his wife, who were there working. I say this because they have hand chosen the San Marco community for their {business} home. They are real people helping bring love through food. Go by, and do what I didn't, introduce yourself!

They dry aged steak they offer was great and the dry rub they sell is just as great! Definitely worth the buy and they are local.
