Also when my fiancee picked them up she said the owner was so nice and personable. This is how you make life long customers.

Drove by the place numerous times, was working in the area and decided to "pull the trigger." When I arrived to pick up my food, I was greeted by a delightful staff and butcher, little did I know the food was even better. If you need lunch or meat....GO HERE!

I hesitate to even mention this for fear of others finding out this wonderful secret, but Westtown Meat Market is one of the few places in the area that has Tri-tip on hand. Always fresh and delicious. Service has been excellent every time I go there. Thanks guys.

Only come here if youre a regular!!!!! I’ve heard great things about this place, and always try and support mom and pop shops. I do not live in the area so when I was passing through I thought it would be a great opportunity to stop in. When I went in they looked at me so I know they saw me but I wasn’t greeted. I was the second person in behind the couple that was currently being taken care of. The line grew to about 10 people in the span of waiting time, around 15 minutes. Now I consider myself a pretty patient person so I didnt mind the wait. I could tell a couple of regulars walked in by the friendly way they were greeted by 2 people working there. The lady informed one of these regulars that he would be attended to after she was done with the couple. I am a non confrontational person so that is when I decided that what I wanted wasn’t worth the wait. Regardless of the situation, I believe that some kind of communication should have been made to everyone in line. And in my own opinion she should have kept to first come first serve, they obviously value regulars over new business.

I ordered a garlic bread Cheesesteak and it was amazing. Also got a chicken salad special which was also amazing. There were many different types of steak that could be freshly cut. There's also lunch meats.

Despite Christmas crowding, these folks were friendly. They were happy to do a custom cut of a tenderloin for me, and the price was great. Highly recommended over the grocery store!

I had the Cheesesteak, It was awesomeness!! Everything in the deli case looked great! The people could not have been nicer. The roll had a tough time holding up to the awesomeness of the meat! outside seating. Did you see the brownies?

Customer service is a crime. There is one particular employee that gives you her butt to kiss everyday when you call in to order. Best Cheesesteak in Chester County but this employee needs to be removed.

This place is great, I wish I could give it 6 starts. All the cuts are superb, your mouth will water when you look at their display of prime porterhouse, bone-in rib eye, and NY strip steak. But what sets them apart is the selection and customization. I showed up on a Saturday for a packer brisket. They had point and multiple sizes of full packer available. In the past, they've done perpendicular cuts on beef short ribs for Kalbi, too; I couldn't get any super market to make that cut. As a bonus, the prices are as good as others in the area for prime grade meat. If you're looking for a butcher instead of a meat department, this is the best option I know if in the Downingtown-West Chester area.
