This was the dirtiest Wal-Mart I've ever been in. The shelves were empty and nobody in the store could direct me to what should have been an easy item to find. The women at the dressing rooms treated me like I was beneath her. If I hadn't needed some cheap t-shirts for painting I would have walked out. Do yourself a favor drive by this store to go somewhere else.

I wanted to appreciate a manager there named DeWayne and a customer service rep named Ariel, we’ve had some issues with a few of our ‘Pick Up’ orders but they went out of their way to take good care of us and resolve the issues. Unhelpful store- would not assist with this customers' in-stock merchandise request after driving 40 minutes to their out-of-state location. Then drove another hour to a different state where the assistant manager there was extremely helpful ... retrieving the merch requested. So I happily spent my $316.08 at the location in PA instead.

This Walmart is typical of all Walmarts. You can't find anyone to help you and when you do they are too busy stocking or talkng to break away from what they're doing. I sat in the paint department for 30 minutes needing a gallon of paint shaken. When I finally found an associate to help they said the Shaker was broken. I told him I would shake my own paint with the broken shaker and so he tried it and miraculously it worked. Unfortunately, Walmart has become the model for all Big Box customer service outfits. It doesn't matter where you go, you still get no help or rude incapable people.

I'm an out of state consumer, so I had never been to this location before. Tonight was my 6th experience at this store. During my shopping trips I have bought items ranging from Market and clothing, to Pharmacy, pets and Garden. Each shopping trip left me increasingly frustrated because of this Store's LAYOUT. Noone wants to have to walk across the entire store to get something from the Pharmacy area while ladened down with a cart full of groceries. The pet section is at the complete opposite end of the store from the Grocery area. People buy FOOD for their Pets. Why isn't it located closer to the Market area? The location of items you would commonly see grouped in the same area at other Walmart locations, are randomly scattered about on other aisles at this one. -Too many common items are often out of stock, some times for weeks, irregardless of the day of the week. Someone needs to get the store logistics in better shape. -Self checkout registers must have a price gun for things like bottled water, and dog food. The Cashier is often swamped, and unable to assist with scanning heavy items. I just had to leave a 32 count of bottled water for that very reason. Carts: They're not being brought back in from outside. Many of them are difficult to steer, and I have already comes across 2 that had no child safety straps whatsoever. I have never been to any other Walmart that has managed to making shopping (at one), even more difficult than it should be.

It says to go to the pickup kiosk and the item will come out of the tower...We ordered a couple of items for our cat & for some reason they weren’t stored in their tower. We asked someone and they said “oh I’ll call back to have them bring it out.” The items weren’t huge,so there’s no reason we couldn’t just pick up from the tower. 10 minutes later & we’re still standing there... We ended up going and picking out the items ourselves and didn’t wait for them to bring the stuff up. This store is garbage. Employees stand around & do nothing. What is the point of having pickup if it takes longer than it would to just go get the stuff yourself? Update: Corporate told me that the Elkton store would reach out to discuss the issues. I missed a call from them today...They didn’t leave a voicemail. What kind of manager doesn’t leave a voicemail as to why they’re calling? I guess since they called they can check it off their list & say “Hey,I called.” They didn’t try to resolve the issue though. If they cared to fix the problems and offer customer service,they would have made the attempt. Once again,garbage store. It starts & ends with management.

Was told on the phone by an employee they had hotwheels in stock. Drove 45 minutes to the store. Shelves were empty. Asked to speak to a manager. She said she would personally call me when they came in. It's been a month and no phone call. Prices are beginning to be too high. They will carry an item until you become dependant on it and then they just stop carrying it all together. They run out of stock on certain food and non-food items. The lines are too long. The staff are not that friendly nor helpful when you can finally find someone to help you in a department. I have done the majority of my shopping here for more than the past 10 years and I really like shopping here. I expect that occasionally something I buy regularly will be out of stock and I'll just need to get a different brand or wait until my next trip to pick up the item. Lately there are not only entire sections of a product empty, such as baby wipes or shredded cheese, but when I come back in a week to 10 days the shelves are still bare or filled with empty display boxes! Individual items that run out, like my brand of body wash or the kind of soup I want are not replenished for a month or more. Cat food and baby food are especially bad because clerks fill empty rows with other flavors or varieties that are not interchangeable for most consumers.

I ordered a small curtain and rod. I was notified that it was ready for pickup. I walked in the store and had two names ahead of mine and I more person was requesting assistance. While multiple people in Walmart jackets walked by, nobody was there to offer assistance. Four managers who I can only believe are probably regional managers were walking around, kicking the watermelon display and clearly had no clear agenda to accomplish. They all walk by of us without offering assistance until the last one who looked at me and stated that someone would be right with us. He had been walking in a blind daze for the ten minutes I had been waiting and clearly had no idea if someone would actually be there soon. Blind promises for a system set in place to expedite purchases. This item is very small and could easily have fit in one of the compartment set for easy pick up. I don’t understand why I was required to wait for a sales associate who is way in the back and clearly has no sense of urgency. I have been going to this Walmart for about 7 years but unfortunately over the past year the service standards have dropped dramatically. I now am traveling 20 minutes out of my way to the North East, location where I receive excellent service. Bottom line, I cancelled my order and wont be shopping at this location anymore.

Very friendly staff. The store was clean...however; its floor layout could and should be better. You have to walk back and forth too much. The towels are on one side; the brooms on the other. Place everything together, so we can enjoy our shopping experience and not become frustrated. This location is the largest Walmart we've been to yet. Even so, parking near the front was easy. The parking lot is cleanly and visibly lined and organized. Of particular notice though was the small selection of kids' clothes. We went there for pants for our 11 year old. With only a couple of pairs to choose from we came out empty-handed.

The two day free shipping is a great alternative to Amazon Prime since there is no annual fee. The free ship to store is great as well. I did have to wait a few minutes even though I checked in through the app when I was on my way like they suggested. Great prices on tons of products. Since I didn't renew my Prime membership, I will be using Walmart and Sam's Club two day shipping a lot more.

Hands down the WORST Walmart I’ve ever been in. It’s like they are more concerned with shoplifters then actual shoppers!!!! I was stopped on the way out and asked to see my receipt for the 2 items that I purchased. Gave my proof of purchase and then was asked if that’s all I had in the bag. So I opened my bag and showed it contents. The lady looks at me up and down like I don’t believe you. Look in the BAG!!!!! So as she is looking me up and down I asked if she wants to read the receipt cause she only scanned it. After a few moments of trying to figure out if I wanted to spaz on her or not, I just walked out and will never in all my days on earth, shop there again. If I didn’t have dinner on the stove I would have returned it. DONT SHOP THERE, take a few extra minutes and go to a different location and be treated like an actual shopper!!!!!

This area Walmart would fit right in next to the projects. Odds of having a car broken into, dented or damaged is fairly high. Pan handlers, and questionable people walk through the parking lots. If you want to see some of the worst of the city go to this Walmart. The management of the store has done nothing to safeguard patrons while in their parking lot.

Families walk shoulder to shoulder blocking access to Isles are items you would like to get get to. Would be a nice change if a single person would just take a list and shop for everyone, don't expect that here. Christmas started at this location in September so expect that the items you are looking for have been replaced with Christmas ornaments.

This is a fairly small Wal-Mart for a supercenter. In my opinion, the layout is rather poor; I have shopped at this Wal-Mart for about eight years, and I know my way around. However, someone who hasn't been in this store might have to do some searching. Things are not always where you think they should be. The prices seem to be pretty much the same as the other Wal-Mart stores I've been in.

I was surprised about the diversity of the cloths, however the store looked run down with lights going out on the ceiling, pharmacy had items from shelving thrown on the floor, with opened candy in check out lane, and everyone seemed in a hurry to leave. First, I want to apologize for taking so long to write this review. Life's distractions often get in the way, but one employee in particular at this store deserves much more recognition than he gets. Mark back in the paint department goes above and beyond in helping us and others every time we've stopped by. Not only that, he knows paints inside and out. If you have a paint dilemma, Mark is your guy! Walmart, give this guy a raise. You'd be crazy to let him ever go elsewhere. It's refreshing knowing that he'll be able to get us exactly what we need each and every time.

This is the worst Walmart I have ever been at. Cashiers are unhappy. Helen the manager doesn’t care about customer service. Items don’t scan cause they are not in the system. Therefore they cannot sell the item. Walmart corporation needs to come in and teach these employees some skills. Sad that they are rude and disrespectful. This is the first Walmart I find as being the worse!! I had to give one star. Cause I have to. Walmart Corporations needs to come In and take over.

They did not want to sell any beer to my sister-n-laws. One is 49 and one is 52. One didn't have her id, she had left it in the car. And my 3rd sister-in-law had her own cart and had a separate transaction. She had some beer she was going to purchase and had her id and was told she couldn't by it because she had been talking with my other 2 sister-n-laws, and the 1 had no id.....I went through a different line with my stuff and had beer and I was with another sister-n-law and she had her own cart and was doing own purchase and had beer. We had no problem buying anything. How do they pick and choose?

The employees do not care about the customers or their job. I watched a young man at self checkout get ignored for at least 5 mins...and the cashier wasnt busy. The conversations among associates is not work appropriate...they push flats of product into the most inconvenient areas, so the customer has to go way out of their way, sometimes just to get to the aisle across from them. Nothing is ever stocked...its like theres ZERO management, and they obviously care as little as the associates. If there was another walmart close by, id go there instead. I usually opt for meijer, but sometimes i want to save a few dollars.

I used to really enjoy shopping at my local Walmart. Not so much anymore. They don’t seem to ever have what I need in stock. The frozen food and dairy sections are constantly empty. Employees are not friendly and won’t engage the customer at all. No registers open. The ones that are open usually have lines of 6 people or more. Your only option is basically self checkout and on the weekends those are also backed up. I also have done a few in store pickups. Sat for about 15 mins or more and usually have to find someone to help. Several employees will walk right past you and not say a word. The apparel sections of the store are very nice and well recovered. I have purchased some very nice clothes there for myself and my kids. Good if I need a item in a pinch otherwise I’m going to the Northeast location.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. I have been shopping at this store since it opened and I used to love going here, great prices and they almost always had what I needed, but for over a year I have been struggling to find what I need at this store. Last June after 3 weeks of not finding the conditioner I used I finally asked an employee when they got shipments in,"everyday" was the response, they checked the inventory and it said there were three, but they couldn't find them. For weeks after still nothing. Months after I started buying them elsewhere I saw two bottles and then they were gone again. I thought after they remodeled things would get better, but they're worse than they were before. I have taken pictures of the shelves that I've needed things from EVERY week and they are consistently EMPTY for a MONTH. Who ever is responsible for their inventory should be fired. Now I have to hunt all over the internet to find where else I can buy their stuff, it's absolutely ridiculous.

I particularly like Walmart because they don't play the coupon, "rewards", and 10 for $10 games like other stores which renders the shelves bare of staple items by 7pm. However, unlike any other Walmart I've been to this location is always out of EVERYTHING. No canned green beans, no Diet Pepsi, no Great Value coffee pods of any count size, no sticky notes. Once when they actually did have a few items I needed, I ditched my shopping cart and fled as there were 20 people in each of the 3 open lanes. Skip it, seriously. Saving $10 just isn't worth even stopping in here.

The store was/is in constant disarray, especially the grocery and men's shirts section. I couldn't find a handful of what I was looking for. The romaine lettuce was brown, the avocado's were half way over ripe/borderline rotten mixed with ones that were hard as a rock. It's clear to me when going in there and seeing the people that stock the shelves, let's call them the 13%, really don't care about their jobs. In my opinion the management staff needs to be let go as do the people that don't care about their jobs. I don't want to hear some guy rapping with his headphones in while he's doing stock and a customer is trying to ask questions. This isn't the first or second or even third time that I have had an experience like this and I only keep going there because it's the nearest to my home. It's been over a year that I'm aware of that this particular Wal-Mart has not improved at all. What I seen today I would expect to only see on black Friday. Overall the staff (not all) are unpleasant and unprofessional, and if the prices on the animal products I use weren't so reasonable in comparison to other stores I would say I wouldn't return to this store again.

First, they don't have the Goya products. I like them so much, that I end up making another trip to Walmart Hope Mills! Also, most Sundays afternoon they run out of things. Today I waited almost 20 minutes for them to put meat in the thin pork chops space in the meat area. They also ran off of the Great Value brand all purpose cleaner with cloro and didn't have any in stock.

Your everyday typical Walmart, just more on the smaller side. As a local, I try to avoid Walmart all summer (and Christmas Eve). It's where you'll find every tourist in town looking for those things they forget to bring from home. Lines can get long on busy weekends, as they constantly seem to be short of cashiers at they very times they need them the most. Best thing, they're 24 hours for those who like to shop at 3 a.m. and avoid those folks you see on those wacky TV shows "Best of Walmart Customers", where spandex and butt cracks get top billing.

Literally made me late for work. Customers form a bottleneck at the door because the “greeters” insist on checking every receipt. That’s fine when there is a steady flow but when it’s busy I SHOULDNT HAVE TO SCAN MY OWN GROCERIES THEN WAIT 5 MINUTES FOR YOU TO CONFIRM IT! Place is the worst Walmart ever. Customer service and items selection same level blows. No body knows anything or really seems to want help and if ask you can tell it's a problem how dare you bother them . And they never have the same item on a consistent basis. Definitely tell the management sets a bad example. if there was more options to shop here in town. I wouldnt spend my money there. When I do I make sure it's very little. Mostly go else where even if down the mountain to shop.

I have seen many Walmarts in my life and this is probably one of the poorest example is I have ever been to. The shelves were largely unstocked and the store was dirty With products shoveled through and disorganized as if no employees restocked or reshelved items correctly. This store like the city it’s in seems to have this lazy Mountain attitude. I’ve never seen cashiers seated while they are ringing up customers. This attitude makes this place unlivable to a city slicker like me.

I made a 100 piece fried chicken order for my church event. I didn’t thought about checking the chicken because usually I order chicken from here every year for the same event. But today when my church got ready to serve the chicken it was completely burn! It was a donation for my church I felt Embarrassed I had to run to order food from another place. After the event i thought of coming back to Walmart showed them the photos of the chicken, it was a donation for my church they end up throwing it away I couldn’t bring back the chicken. However the manager only offer us 25 dollar gift card and an apology. This is unacceptable!!! And she had a terrible customer service attitude.... I asked for her information and she give me her store managers information... she give me her first name but she wouldn’t tell me her full name... I usually shop at Walmart for all my groceries and needs but this the last time!!!! If I could give them a negative number I would!!!

*Such rude experience by an employee! I am a regular customer and will not be returning to this store. My husband and I went to Walmart to buy new bikes and pad locks for our bikes. We went to #8 lane the cashier turned her light off as we walked up. So my husband and I went towards another lane, then the manger Jeff told us to go to lane #8. I told him we were already in the lane 8 and she shut the light off as we walked up and won’t ring us up. He looked at her and told her to ring us up, she rolled her eye and did what she was told. She was very rude and tried to tell me I shorted her a $50 bill. I told her all $402 was there you must of dropped it when double checking every bill as if it was fake.

Over the 15-20 years it is hard to count the number of Walmart stores I have been in but I want to tell you that this past Sunday I had vehicle trouble and stopped at the Walmart on Hwy 19 N kn Meridian, Ms. Over the last 4 days I have been in the store 6 times and without a doubt they have the friendliest and most helpful staff of ANY Walmart I have EVER been in. It is a real pleasure to shop there. Wish I could transport them back to Merritt Island. Great jobs guys, THANKS for you help and kindness. You do Mr Sam proud!

My Dr. called in a rx for teardrops. The walmart pharmacy tech had entered my birth date wrong so they couldn't find my info on their computer. Needless to say my rx got pushed to the back of the line and caused me a 3 hour wait for ear drops. I complained but no one listened and no one cared. Oh well, plenty other pharmacies.

I usually go in the evening when it’s not that busy. By that time they are restocking shelves and things are fairly “picked over.” I was going for milk and price shopping. I did pick up a beautifully cut pork chop big enough for both of us. Got some snacks and crackers and coffee creamer, store baked bread and rolls and a pie from the sale racks in the back of the store (current date). Pleased with everything. Only thing was the floors were being swept and the shelves were barren. Frozen food and dairy were okay. Shoppers must come in droves during the day. Glad I shopped at night!

We wanted to exchange it at the elkton store but their service employee was lazy and didnt want to go get the new one for us so he told us he would return it and we can go get the new one, that way we wouldnt have to come back to the service dept. All was very nice except customer service at the deli. My husband finished the rest of our shopping in the time it took me to get two lunchmeat orders. The man who waited on me seemed to be inexperienced and doing the best he could. Two female deli workers stood right next to me chatting and only helped the male when he asked. I really like the deli meats but often choose another option rather than enduring the lackluster service.

32 checkout lanes and only 3 open. The lines at all 3 have at least 7 to 10 people waiting. The self checkout had 12 people waiting. The speedy checkout had a person with at least 100 items in their cart. What's the point of a limit if you're not going to enforce it! I gave up and left.

The employees are typically rude but today was horrible. I spent over an hour at the photo center waiting for my photos to print. The lady working tonight, 3-11-19 @ 8 was annoyed with me asking for my photos I'm sure. I finally came back and she told me to come back in another 10 minutes. I came back and she closed the photo center after she had told me they were printing and were ready. I asked another employee in electronics who tried to find my photos, which were miraculously never printed. Now I have to find time between work to come back tomorrow for my photos. I also spent over 30 minutes at the jewelry counter trying to buy a watch. The women working there would see people who were after us and completely avoided us until I said something about it.

Walmart in Ruidoso Downs has a large selection of products. They have several Self-check our stations, which are fairly easy to use. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because many times they are under staffed at the registers and depending on the time of day you shop, they are out of stock on many items. Over all, it’s convenient and open 24 hours a day. Just don’t be disappointed when you realize that they are out of Coke, water, milk, eggs and pre-made commercial tea.

The Walmart itself remains awesome. The parking lot? In my past five visits, an adult male has approached me asking for money each time, regardless of whether (or maybe especially because) I'm with family. Stay armed. And stay particularly alert when you visit this location, and even more so if you prefer to take the first parking spaces further away from the entrance. Keep your firing hand free and as unimpeded as possible in its path to your weapon. Note that these loiterers prefer to wait for me to begin loading my vehicle (my most vulnerable point) before approaching. Recommend that if you come with friends or family, one party loads while someone stands guard. Otherwise, move with a purpose.

Called 6 minutes before closing the money center. Told the lady I am in the parking lot and I’ll be right in. She replied “mmm” with an attitude. Get in there at 7:55 pm and she said we are closed. There is multiple people and it will take longer than 8:00 pm to finish. I don’t think they understand the concept of business hours. Eight pm is the time you close not when you feel like because it’s an inconvenience to you.

Would give a zero if i could. This walmart is a cesspool of ghetto unprofessional overpaid trash. The management in this store, especially an assistant manager named Tammy over online grocery, are piss poor at their jobs and shouldn't be employed at all. Don't waste your money at this store and don't bother working here. Sandra is the worst store manager i have ever seen in all my years and she needs to be on her way out for running such a dumpster fire of a store.

Everytime I come to this store which is pretty frequent, there are no shopping carts at the store. They are all out in the parking lot overflowing the cart drop off bins. Never fails. Do yourself a favor and Grab a cart in the parking because there will not be one inside.

The lady behind the counter in the tire center was in no mood to provide good customer service since it was 20 minutes til closing, however, the young man that was working in the shop was willing to go the extra mile to get me back on the road. Maybe he should be promoted and she retire.

I end up walking out leaving my order behind. Seems like they only have 1 or 2 cashier's open. Forcing you to use u-scan. Always someone at u-scan standing there not willing to help you. When will I learn not to come here.

This store has improved greatly. We love coming here now. Lots of space and clean. They have a great selection of fresh produce and very helpful staff. Deli serves hot and cold food items, and a wide range of deli meats. They make party trays there as well. Great electronics section and sporting goods. Keep up the awesome work!!
