It's all about customer service when you come to Target. The staff here is very helpful. Available products are hit and miss sometimes. I never seem to get everything I plan to get. The staff usually will help with alternatives though. So 3 stars! Oh and the Kids love coming here... they love testing out the electronics so +1 star. #LoveTheBose. Oh and then they have Starbucks so +1 = 5 stars!

Friendly and helpful staff! The cleanest store I’ve ever shopped at. A little more pricey and a little less vegetarian options than other stores, but I love the atmosphere at this location so it’s worth it. I do hope to see more vegetarian options and vegan ice cream options soon! Maybe I just went on a day that they weren’t as well stocked.

1 checkout open at 7p.m. with 8 people in line all with full carts. 10 employees walking around looking at the floor or the ceiling. The manager was worried about people signing a poster for someone. Poor customer service, which is worse than the usual non existent customer service.

This target has the rudest most unprofessional customer service by far of any target I have ever been to. I love the targets in NC but I have realized my mom was right the Dover target is AWFUL!!! Corporate really needs to send people in undercover to attempt returns or to pick up items and they will see how BAD their store is. They NEVER have the baby ointment and soaps stocked. It has been almost empty on now 6 Delaware visits. I bought a instapot for my mom in apex NC as a Christmas gift. She finally tried to use it 3 weeks ago and it only worked on saute. I checked store availability at Dover every few days for 3 weeks and it was never in stock so my mom could exchange it. So I mailed her the receipt to just return it. I even CALLED AHEAD and spoke to manager MIKE and explained I mailed her the receipt but the debit card was obviously with me in NC. He assured me the money could be put back on the card and that they also have a cash option. My mom sent my stepfather to target as she refuses to go in Dover target due to not one not two but 3 previous bad experiences with their customer service desk people and managers. They tried giving my stepfather hassle about returning the money so he had mike paged. Mike proceeds to lie to my stepfather saying I told him i mailed my mom my debit card ( like I Don't need it at home). He then tells my stepfather well to be helpful we can refund it as cash but we won't be able to return the tax i paid. Joke was on him as my stepfather is a TAX AUDITOR for the state of delaware. My stepfather informed him that what he just said was ILLEGAL to do. All of a sudden mike started back peddling and claiming he misspoke. So if you have ever bought anything in another state that you returned in DE and they didn't refund you the taxes paid contact the corporate tax auditors for the state of DE and complain because target commited a crime by not giving you your taxes back.

I want to like Safeway but it is very expensive and most of the staff I've encountered (except in produce) have been rude. I only shop here when I am in a hurry. It does have a salad bar which is a plus, as well as a Starbucks which I have never had a problem with.

CURBSIDE EXPERIENCE WAS THE WORST! Order was sent to NJ, no one in the Dover store could figure out how to re-route the order back to Dover, DE. The entire process took 2hrs between placing and cancelling. Needless to say the order could NOT be re-routed,lost the discount and the item.

I used to work at a Target in NJ and I loved it! Some of the team members at this location are pleasant while others need to be handing in their red shirts. I only come here because it's the only one Dover, but if I had a choice I wouldn't. Every time I come here the item's price does not match what is advertised.Then I have to disbute it at the register. It's very frustrating. Not sure if this is a sales tactic but it's horrible. Please make sure that your prices match the item. Who wants to crosscheck dcpi numbers and prices while shopping lol.

We were just at self check out and the attendant literally walked over to collect the baskets while simultaneously crop dusting us. I think he should seek medical attention because it smelled like nuclear waste. I gave it 2 stars because this target is nice when you’re not inhaling toxic waste

A massive Target that has everything. Of course higher prices and less selection that Walmart. But a good shopping experience. Ive found that this particular Target has a really good clothing assortment section due to the size of this Target. So thats a plus. In a good location as well that makes going to Walmart much more to do.

Like any regular Target. Not very big like the one in Christiana Mall. Bathrooms are clean. Store Manager and Photo booth staff is very friendly. Hate the CVS people. Very slow and inefficient. My doctor sent prescription in the morning and I went to pick it in the evening after calling them and confirming that it was ready or not. They said yest over the phone and took 30mins to give my prescription. Not good.

No vegan yogurts available here but you'll find vegan icecream, a few frozen and fresh vegan options also some vegan milks. No staff available throughout the store for help. Most of the staff can be found at the front. It takes time searching for your product. Big store. Nice volume of merchandise sold here. NO military discounts available here! PSA! The security guard nor staff's OBJECTIVE to a dog sitting in a shopping cart. Yes! The same shopping carts that carries one's vegetables towels etcetera. Smh

My daughter and I have been to this Target 3 times in the last week to prepare for her baby shower. On every visit we have encountered rude treatment by employees, once by a manager, and the last visit an employee harassed and embarrassed her. She's 7 months pregnant. I will be calling Target corporate office today to discuss with them so they can address it with the district manager but there needs to be a management change at this Target.

Be sure to review your expiration dates on the perishable food items you buy from the grocery area. 75% of the time things have expired already or do in a few days. Check dates! On the flip side we have had management that has done a great job on assisting us finding missing stock of items in the store when empty at the shelf.

I like the frozen gluten-free section. I like to take an Amy's Indian frozen meal to work. I have never been in there when it's crowded. It's easy to shop because it's so empty. The shelves are empty because there is a sale. This location is not a Super Target.

Target has just acknowledged that it has released personal information for about 40 million customers. A major retailer like Target should not be this inept with such information, and their failure has resulted in granting thieves access to people's financial information. I don't plan on trusting any Target store or on-line web page ever again.
