It would be higher. Was kinda disappointed when i got home, over 20 miles away to see i did not have turkey necks in my bag. Instead the guy gave me turkey legs.

Overall Joe's butcher shop is pretty good but I don't like the package deals, I would much rather have the freedom to choose exactly what I want. I also think the prices are a bit higher compared to Marcacci Meats.

True butcher shop with cold cuts and cheeses cut to order. Come in take a number and wait your turn. Beef, chicken, pork. Small amount of grocery items. Local vegetables picked fresh and weighted for price. Friendly staff. Easy to see from the road

Great place. They have a great selection of pork, beef and poultry. Frozen and fresh. I'd recommend trying their meatballs in an Italian wedding soup.

We love this place. We have been going here for a few months and have not been disappointed. Great selection, wonderful quality! Everyone the works here is very helpful and are happy to help. For those reviewing that complain about the shop only offering package deals, this is not true, you can buy whatever you want and as much as you want here. We bought 10lbs of chicken breast over the weekend with no issue. The prices here are unbeatable when you compare the quality to the big named grocery stores for meats. Don't stop doing what you're doing Joes!

I love passing through this town, for Joe's Butcher Shop alone. The beautiful meats are fresh and cut or trimmed to order. The staff is pleasant, very knowledgeable about the products and professional. I always check the specials first. They carry various combinations of box packages that can be a great deal depending on your need. The regular prices are surprisingly reasonable as well. The selection of fresh sausage is a must see. Italian spicy, Italian sweer, and sage sausages are our favorites. They also gave an outdoor barbecue pit with many meats and side dishes to choose from. The barbecue pit has limited hours, so be sure to call and check to see if the barbecue pit is open before you go. The barbecue pit is very popular, but I have only purchased food from there once. The chicken was delicious and my husband loved the ribs. As far as the sides go, t he collard greens, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, and steamed cabbage all received our thumbs up. Joe's Butcher shop is a winner that I will continue to visit again ans and again.

I Was a loyal customer for years. A couple of years ago I purchased chicken for my elderly mother. The breast had fat all through them. My mom wind up throwing the meat out. I’m a reasonable person and figured I just bought a bad batch of chicken breast. I went back two more times and had the same results. I asked the butcher and he said he thought his distribution center changed its source of meats. The steak also was not very good to eat.

Great place I've been coming here for years everyone is helpful and very knowledgeable about the meats. The sausage is great and made in store as well as the Applewood smoked bacon... they even have a smoke house if you need anything smoked obviously call ahead for that. The meat is some of the best around and always fresh and display cases are always getting restocked with fresh meats. You can buy freely and not get the packaged deals those are mainly for costumers that are just looking for good deals. The store is clean compared to the other's and during deer season it does get very busy so make sure to call ahead as well since it's always packed. But overall great family atmosphere and Joe is one of the friendliest and knowledgeable Butchers with his wisdom. Sincerely a very happy costumer.

I bought 5 pounds of boneless chicken breast and it was put in a plastic bag and no label. I have no idea when it expires or how much I was charged. On top of that it was put in a brown bag. The plastic bag leaked and went through the brown bag on my car seat. I'll stick with Marcacci's.
