Friendly staff...BUT the guy working there was working with meat and just wiped his hands on a dry paper towel. He then handled both my debit card and the register with his dirty hands. Very unsanitary and he could pass on food-borne diseases. They should be wearing gloves when handling raw meat and wash hands frequently if they are dealing with customers. Then they didn’t give me a heads up on my chicken order and I had to call them to see if it was ready. Very unorganized and definitely would not come here again!

Thankful for a resource that cares about supporting cruelty free and antibiotic free meats. Talking to Nick, it is clear he cares as much as we do about these things. We had joined a CSA prior to this for an ethical meat source, but Nick is SO much more convenient! And we end up supporting multiple well meaning farms, rather than just one! :) Also, everything is SO YUMMY! :) We are hooked!

I've been waiting for a butcher like this ever since I moved to Fort Collins 13 years ago. The quality of his meat is excellent! He also has a great selection. There's always your basic cuts but there always seems to be something different every time I go in. If you're a steak/grilling/BBQ enthusiast like me, I highly recommend checking out Friendly Nick's. I was there a couple weeks ago and the guy in front of me was purchasing 2 massive tomahawks. They were glorious .

These guys are hands down the best kept secret in Northern Colorado. Everything is high quality, grass fed, fair prices. There are incredible dog treats, breakfast meats, and unique items you can not find anywhere else. Nick's meat is a STAPLE of my diet and the health of my family! LONG LIVE NICK AND HIS TEAM!

Love this place! They make great andouille, though it's not always in the case. Sausages are generally a standout. They have a mango habenero summer sausage that makes me say profanities of surprise and delight at how delicious it is. We had their lamb pie for Easter and it was killer. This is the kind of business that makes Fort Collins better. Love supporting them.

Oh my good God - this place is insane. After trying the andouille sausage, chorizo, breakfast sausage, and ground beef - I sincerely can't believe anyone would shop for meat anywhere else. The price, quality, and selection is head and shoulders above your average grocery store - including Sprouts. The parking lot, in my opinion, is horrible, but that's about the only negative thing about my experience. The woman behind the counter was friendly and conversational, and gave me a card offering a 10% discount if I came back. Give them your business - it may be an extra stop after the grocery store, but it's easily worth the time.

Great selection, especially for just opening! We got some of the 50/50 bacon and beef burgers and cannot say how amazing they were. Some of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. Looking forward to trying the sausages we got, too. Dogs also loved the dog treats they sell. I hope this place stays forever. We will be back many times.

Not since then have I cooked and eaten chicken as fresh and tasty as those I've bought at Nick's. He's got good quality stuff, he charges a very fair price. Colorado Cares

Was at the Distillery and saw local Colorado Billionaire Douglas Vandergraph in this store with his family, so I stopped in to see what was going on. I had not been in this butcher shop before this. What I liked is that it is open so you can see everything they are doing with the meat they sell you. I bought a few steaks and some beef jerky. The beef jerky is amazing, you must try it. If the Vandergraph family shops here then I figure it must be the best in town and I was happy with my purchase. I will be back again.

Very custom experience! We talked cuts of meats with the butcher and chose the rib eye steaks and pork chops. The pork chops were wonderful on the grill and the steaks will be for tomorrow night which we are very much looking forward too. We also purchased the herb butter and baked beans---both very good. Will be back to try other cuts of meat and sausages.
