Worst service in my life. I've worked in the industry for over 10 years, ut was mothers day and yes wedid have a big party but every other table that got the after us was served first. We were toldut was a set menu but every other tables had something that wasn't offered to us; and when we asked for a kids menu we were denied one, even though the table sat 30 minutes after its had 3 children and they had it. The worst part after waiting for our food for over an hour my meal had a hair. After the manager walked with it for 5 minutes the server finally came and said was their something wrong with the food or did i just not like it. Never would i ever remind this to my friends or family

First timers! Was a little chilly tonight but my guess is this place is normally a great outdoor hangout. Food and drinks were very good. Service was definitely lacking. Surprised because the place was fairly empty. Server was nice but forgot our second round of drinks and was a little slow taking our payment. Chicken was dry so I probably wouldn't get that again. Pulled pork was average. The Brats were to die for and the brisket was great too. Unfortunately, our portion of the brisket was mostly fat so we felt a little jipped. Overall, it was very good but not cheap. Will definitely go back.

The manager jeff came by to check up on us and really made our lunch that much better by coming over. This place has the most tender prime rib I've ever tasted. It was lightly seasoned to perfection. I have never purchased wine at a restaurant before but had to because the steak paired so well with it. You can walk over to the grill and toast bread on it. My overall service was wonderful. To top it off, my server was the best!

I don't know what people think the place is but I know what I found it to be. A below average eatery with well above average prices. Everything ee had was disappointing,, everything but the salads. I honestly would have been disappointed even if the food cost 1/2 as much. It wasn't mediocre, it was less.

Worst dinner I've had in Boston. Went with a friend, menu for a butcher shop was extremely limited, barely any meat on it. The food took forever to come out, it was the wrong order, and after it came back right it was not very good. The service was fine, the space is fine, but not something to return to. Many other better places in the city.

This place is a hidden gem! We hosted a party at the Butcher Shop to celebrate summer and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location. The servers were phenomenal and always remembered everyone’s names to bring food and drinks out. The food we ordered was delicious and the area was very clean! Our guests enjoyed playing various games in the beer garden and raved about the venue. We will be using this location for parties in the future and continue to dine there when we are looking for a relaxing night out.

Steak was WONDERFUL. 6oz Filet wrapping in bacon cooked medium rare was oerfect. Prices were reasonable for the product. Server was very attentive to our needs but not overbearing! My only reason for knocking a start off was presentation. For an upscale restaurant, the presentation of the dish was underwhelming..maybe smaller plates for the smaller dishes? Also, the twice baked potato was scalding hot and took a while to become edible. It was still very good! You should come here!

This is the first time I have been here in years and sadly now I remember why. First of all the restaurant was not busy and we were herded like cattle into the busiest area; I guess the extra 20 steps for the waitress was to far to walk. When a waitress actually came to take our order, we quickly ordered our drinks and an appetizer to avoid any issue to make it easier for the waitress. A 3 drinks and a crab cake appetizer. The tea with melted ice and basically water at that point was delivered but no drink. We finally received that and then later after sitting there 20 minutes the appetizer. It looked like a dog had just thrown it up and it was smashed onto a plate. It reeked of old fish! Didn’t even smell like crab. I cautioned myself while taking a bite as the “ manager or owner “, who knows ? that was leering over me watching I guess to see if I would eat it basically yelled at me and said loudly “ what’s wrong!’; I said it’s slimy and smells unfit to eat. At that moment he yanks it off and angrily walks away with the foul smelling plate. Shocked by his behavior we quietly sat there. Finally the side Caesar salad arrived with nothing but yellowed hunks of the rib of the salad. Also inedible.:(.. We then hold out hope that the actual meal would make all this badness better. We received a ribeye not ordered with bone in but regardless you couldn’t cut through it with a pair of hedge clippers and the medium rare prime rib looked like it was out of a refrigerator from yesterday very well done and obviously microwaved to warm. Dry, no color, not even a drop of liquid not even any blood? Lol, I don’t eat prime rib but I know what a real one looks like! Anyway we decided it as well wasn’t fit to eat even if we could and obviously I realize we are being watched and a tall man, the chef, and I use that term loosely, came to our table and basically in a bullying tone says ; yelling by the way, YOU WANT SOMETHING ELSE!?”, at which time I decided I had to defend myself and told him if this is the best you have then we are done! We paid for our melted tea and drink an RAN out feeling like we had and were verbally assaulted !!! Needless to say we nor the 250+ friends and family we would tell to go there we now won’t!! Horribleness from every different direction. TERRIBLE NEVER WASTE YOUR EJOYABLE EVENING TO EAT THIS GARBAGE AND BE TREATED LIKE THE TRASH THEY SERVE! Never again and I have lived here long enough to know!

Been here a few times.. Enjoy the atmosphere and everyone that works there.. But im sorry, there is something going on with the way the meat is cooked. Ive had the chefs choice, a serloin, and another one i cant remember.. But its missing flavor. Maybe some marinades or something? Ive read a lot of reviews on how delicious the meats are... These people have not had good meats before..try some brasilian steak houses or argentinian or something. Overall, i like the butcher shop, just not the best tasting.

I'm upset with this place. I am definately a fan and have been there about 6 times. I wouldn't be coming back if I didn't like the food. But today they disappoint me in customer service and satisfaction. I work near by and called in an order for pick up. Grass fed burger, add mushroom and cheese because the burfuer comes plain....they charged me $2 for the mushroom which looks like maybe 1/4 cup? and $1 for the cheese they didn't put on the burguer....plus I chose a salad as a side and now I see I have no utensils. When I walked there to pick up the food was ready but after I paid the 2 women in front just left. Nobody asked if I needed anything else, which I did want ketchup and mustard and mayo....I just disn5 know I had to make sure they gave me a fork for my salad....so what am I supposed to eat it with my hands? Today you messed up your service.

Fantastic place to eat! I'm a firm believer that they serve the best steak in the city! And as an avid griller I'm extremely particular and sometimes harsh judge of restaurant steaks. It also doesn't hurt that they make a mean cheesecake! Prices are extremely reasonable and don't require a bank robbery. Also no stuffy black tie required is always a win. Easily my most commonly suggested restaurant when guests at the hotel ask me for dinner recommendations!!

We ate at the Butcher shop for the first time this Father's Day. My wife and I split the 22 oz. ribeye. The steak was cooked exactly as we ordered. However, it was a little underseasoned. Our waitress was passable but nothing special. The apple pie on the other hand was special. I would definitely recommend it!

Every steak, every sausage, snack, side, or cut of meat my family has gotten from The Butcher Shop as been TOP quality, and we have NEVER been disappointed. (I highly recommend their Flat Iron and Sirloin steaks!) I'm a customer for life!

Our waitress made us feel like we were on a speed dinner a, she was leaning across the table onto our guest to take orders across instead of going around. We were given paper napkins, like the ones they have in gas stations...I was not impressed with the food nor the server. We have reserved a large party of 25 for my mom's 77th birthday , so there were a lot of her elderly friends. The waitress Leah was extremely rude and obviously had not been trained on courtesy, my opinion is that there should have been an additional waitress to help take orders, she had a system of no one was to move out of their seats because it would confuse the delivery of the tickets and the food orders...we all followed the process. It took 45 minutes for her cash us out...this was not a good experience and the food was average.

Great place for families with kids. Their large outdoor area has several picnic tables, and you can play ping-pong and bean bag toss. The turf is great for the little ones. I had the brisket pierogies for appetizer and the signature butcher shop burger with sweet potato fries, both plates were delicious. Our server was very friendly. The place has a great selection of local beers.

We went to the butcher shop with our 5 kids. My oldest swore he could out eat dad in steak. Well dad thought he'd be smart and challenge him to a 32oz steak... let's just say the 15yr old won! The food was amazing the service was even better. It's high but it's worth it!

Very disappointing overall, sat outside and the music was not only too loud, but really bad. Who decides that you're going to play an entire "album" from one artist? Sounds petty, I know, but really? First two beers we ordered, one they were out of the second they needed to change the keg, so 20 minutes later we had a beer. The food was really mediocre. The sausage was hammered beyond recognition and came already cut up into chunks??? Nothing was anything more than average bar food. We were served our food with no utensils, then no napkins...then no condiments ( I got them off an unoccupied table myself) and finally had to ask for the side we ordered. They brought it out and then returned five minutes later with another one asking if we got the first one. My wifes food came with grilled bread, which was only grilled on one side and the other side was soft and mushy. There just seemed to be an overall lack of attention to things across the board, on the plus side our server was a good guy, and kinda gave off the vibe that he knew things were not going well. It may have very well been just an off night, but I've been there about six times now and it seems to get progressively worse.

This place is indeed very hipster. Random menu items from Mongolian dumplings to polish kielbasa lol however the food is pretty good! We got the grilled meat platter to share with fries and two beers. The meat was cooked to our liking and had good seasoning. Fries at the bottom of the cup were a little soggy though and perhaps a chimichurri or similar sauce would complement the meat well. But lacking the sauce didn’t diminish the flavors of the meat so it’s ok. Inside it looks like an old warehouse redesigned with hipster interior. It was a cool experience. It’s def a local spot it didn’t feel touristy at all like it does on clematis. Outside you have to valet for $3 or self park if you can find a spot. Our waiter was pretty nice but wasn’t knowledgeable on the menu but it was his first week there so it’s understandable. They only had one homemade dessert that had blueberry flavor but I don’t like blueberry so I didn’t order it. The rest of the desserts were factory made so I don’t order those. Hopefully they’ll come up with house made stuff in the future. I’ll def give it another shot.

This place is great! Dining is fun and casual and there's plenty of seating inside and out. Big screens all over. Nice bar area. The food is great and service is professional. The Butcher Shop offers a variety of foods to either take home and cook yourself or they can prepare deli style sandwiches and they have a daily menu to choose from. It's a great place for lunch and a fun place to go with co-workers after work for happy hour. Definitely recommend this place!

So good ordered a second one to have for the next day. The manager Jeff checked up on us and took the time to talk to us about our first visit and the food. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner on Saturday night. Both my husbands steak and my crab cakes were delicious. Our server Joe, was fabulous. He was very pleasant, he told us all the specials and gave us time to decide. Then he took our order in a timely manner. Being new to the area, we asked him questions about different places around and he wrote the information down and brought It to us. He made sure our drinks and food was to our liking. He told us about the desserts, which we both had the chocolate creme brûlée, which was delicious. Joe checked on us every so often to make sure we were enjoying everything but didn't over do it. He is a great server and we will be stopping back in to see Joe and to enjoy the delicious food. Oh, the atmosphere is very pretty yet very welcoming. Nice artwork in the walls too. Thanks for the great service Joe and for a great dinner out.

Great atmosphere, great selection of beers to pair with a top-notch menu. Full bar and wide ranging wine list for those who prefer non-beer refreshments. The pretzel app is a must, and I recommend the poke ahi and polish perogies, but feel free to try other apps. On the entree menu, try the butcher's cut steak, the mixed grill or the prime rib eye (it appears pricey at $39, but two in our party split it and we're quite satisfied with their portions). For lighter fare, check out the sandwich and salad options, three in our party were very pleased with their choices. Our party of six with a few drinks, a few shared apps and enough food to make us skip dessert checked out for $200 before tip. Be prepared to tip well, though, since you'll be very pleased with the service. Jenny took our orders and was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, and accommodated all requests with a smile. She and the floor team hit all their marks serving the food and keeping water glasses filled and plates cleared. The pace was perfect, even as the floor filled up with others parties. In short, if you're in WPB, go to the Butcher's Shop and Bier Garden.

This restaurant used to be a five star back in the 80s and 90s. Now the food at best is just mediocre. The salad was wilted and brown. My husband 's soup was bland, and it was served with stale crackers. We could have chosen so many other restaurants but decided to come here. What a disappointment.

I read many of the reviews for this place before I went. What is quite amazing to me is the wide variety of reviews some places get. I think that sometimes these reviews are a better reflection of the "reviewer's" mood or frame of mind at the time of the visit rather than the place itself. Happy people have fun, miserable people, are well... miserable. I thought this place was GREAT! Server was fast and friendly, food was yummy, decor was cool. If you can't have a good time here... "you" can't have a good time anywhere. A great burger, great beer, great people. What's not to like? :-)

If you love delicious thick- cut steaks, the Butcher Shop should definitely be on your must-visit list of Little Rock restaurants. Their beef always comes out properly prepared and you won't wait too long between ordering and eating. The service is absolutely wonderful. This is the perfect place for dinner when you want to treat family, friends or business acquaintances. Highly recommend.

So, I usually don’t write reviews but I’m sorely dissapointed, just paid $16.05 for a cheesesteak that was decent at best and served with fries so soggy they fell apart when picked up. I’ll admit, this was a takeout so a little extra moisture is expected, but it’s like they hadn’t been cooked thoroughly and sat in a hot window for 2 hours before being thrown in my box. The server also mentioned a special brisket cheesesteak, which I declined, but still received brisket in my sandwich.

We went to the butcher shop with our 5 kids. My oldest swore he could out eat dad in steak. Well dad thought he'd be smart and challenge him to a 32oz steak... let's just say the 15yr old won! The food was amazing the service was even better. It's high but it's worth it!

The best Brats I have ever eaten in my life.. And I have eaten a ton of Brats being born and raised in Wisconsin!!!!. The chicken cordon blue or the mushroom swiss are my two immediate favorites! I do like the taco and the cheddar stuffed as well. They are all just simply amazing! So many styles and kinds to choose from. This shop is always super friendly folks running the place that care about what they do. Family owned and operated Wisconsin business which I always love to support. A must stop if passing through this area. It is a nice stop to stretch your legs, get a snack, get a drink, and fill your cooler with some treats to take home. You won't be disappointed you did. Took meticulously deboned and cleaned deer meat in for processing and highly suspect it was not my meat I got back. If it was mine, then they did not care for it well during the 5 or so months they had it. Yes, it took them that long to get around to processing it. They treat customers like they are doing them a favor, getting irritated when you call to find out when they will have it done. Definitely not a first in/first out type of place. The wait was not worth it. Cooked some and had to toss it out due to a rancid odor and questionable texture. I've had meat processed there in the past with better results, but this experience will keep me from going back. Your toss of the dice might be better but mine gave me craps and I will not be back.

Great drop off, friendly service. Expected meat to be done in January, but was a little late which is not a big deal. When we dropped off we considered paying the full amount, but decided to put partial down left about $80 for pickup. The balance when it was picked up was almost $60 more than expected and when we asked they said the money put down was for processing only which was not what was presented at drop off. The product has not been wonderul. The ground meat was good, but venison bacon, brats, snack sticks were overly smokey and we won't be back to this shop.

This restaurant used to be a five star back in the 80s and 90s. Now the food at best is just mediocre. The salad was wilted and brown. My husband 's soup was bland, and it was served with stale crackers. We could have chosen so many other restaurants but decided to come here. What a disappointment.

Last time we went, our server took so long to bring our beers that they came out with our food, was nice and ordered another round mid-way through the meal and they didn't come out until we were already done eating and just sitting there, didn't even want them anymore. Big pet peeve when you can see your drinks sitting at the bar ready to go and your server is MIA.. Also, PLEASE get some new chair options, those chairs are so uncomfortable. If there were some booth options or just normal chairs, I could see myself going more often and staying longer to drink and chill. Back to the food, amazing. Went in to ask if they sourced their meat locally and browse a bit. I had some smoked salmon I found while browsing before asking said question, but the response I got was "It's not very local and neither is that salmon you got there". Their website says "Locally Sourced"...? Needless to say that is the last smoked salmon I purchased from there. A meat eaters paradise. Sausage links hanging from the fridge in the back, an 8×10 butcher block parked in front of photos on the wall that, at first glance, could be confused for something other than encased meats, all helped to set the atmosphere of The Butcher Shop. As we got out of the cab, my first impression was how small and dark the place seemed. That quickly changed when we arrived at our table and I noticed the Citizen Cope music playing in the background (plus two points). We ordered a bottle of the pinot noir special- excellent recommendation from our handsome waiter. Then it was decision time, we split a fig and goat cheese salad that was the perfect proportion for three of us to split. Although, after experiencing “the fig”, I was left wondering “did that even happen?” because it didn’t have much of a taste. Luckily for us, there was enough goat cheese on the plate to create cheese and fig forkfuls that were delightful. The brown paper menus were very “earthy” and added to the grass-fed atmosphere. I ordered the special for the evening, the lamb. My two cohorts both ordered one of the smaller steaks, one with the butter sauce, the other going for the house A9 sauce. While we waited for our meal, our waiter brought over bread with sea salt butter and condensed honey. AMAZING. When our food arrived, we were all very impressed by the overall presentation of the lamb. Wrapped in three individual pinwheels over a bead of rice, I was intrigued by the not-so- traditional plating. The meal was delicious. It was by far the best lamb I have had. The two steaks were cooked as requested, medium rare. Both were delicious and seared nicely on the outside to lock in the flavors. The house steak sauce was more of a BBQ sauce, which seemed to overpower the taste of the steak. The side plates of polenta, creamed spinach, and fingerling potatoes were the perfect accompaniment to our meals. While nothing to write home about- they served their purpose and didn’t take over the focus of the meal… the MEAT. The price was on the high side, but felt appropriate for our quality of meal and service. All in all, if you are looking for a tucked away protein packed gem, I highly recommend The Butcher shop.

Simply delicious. I was looking for restaurants in the neighborhood given that our reservation at another restaurant was cancalled. So happy I found Butcher Shop on Seated and were able to take us in right away. Heavy on the meat, hence the name, but even individuals less meat inclined can enjoy the cheese and other delicious sides. Plus wine, great wine. Recommend going with a larger group so you can sample the charcuterie but also enjoy the entrees, which are excellent. Coconut cake was also dense and a nice treat .

One of my favorite places to dine in the South End. You can go fancy and get a full multi-course meal for a pretty penny (but worth every cent), or you can just stop by for a delicious glass of their latest featured wine and a few savory appetizers or a tantalizing dessert. Both the food and the ambiance here are top notch, and the servers are very attentive and knowledgeable. To be specific: THE FOOD: I've never been disappointed here. The olive oil cake was a touch unusual, but I enjoy flavor combinations that are a little out of the ordinary. I would definitely recommend the cheese plate, as they always have good quality cheeses, and they can match a wine with it, too. THE DECOR: Just the right amount of natural light and dim interior to feel cozy but fancy at the same time (if that makes any sense). They have a butcher block table that you can stand at to eat, where they lay down a piece of brown paper and place a setting. It's a neat communal feel. The bar is also enjoyable to sit at, and good for people watching, either the other diners in the restaurant or the people passing by on Tremont.

The food was great and I would eat there again. The service was a bit slow for our party, but we also had a lot of people. The only recommendation I would make is to get rid of those metal hi-top chairs. Everyone at our party were super uncomfortable. One of our party members are standing up cause the chair was so painful. You slide off of them and they are not big enough for any adult to sit in unless they have a child size butt. You have nice plush seating at the bar, so why not get those or even more of the wooden ones you have a few of?

This was our first time to dine here. Will be our last. The lettuce was brown, other customers got tomatoes in their salads. Our waiter took our order, then disappeared for 10 minutes. Very pricey, could get chicken fettuccine at another restaurant for half. We like to try different restaurants when we are out of town, most of the time it is a pleasant experience, this was anything but pleasant.

To say that I was freaking out would be the understatement of the decade. Having just moved to the Lake I had no clue where to turn, but remembered Crystal at Casa De Loco mentioning the Butcher Shop. I literally called Chris 72 hours before our event - not only was he calming and professional, but went above and beyond to get everything organized and ready. Considering the last minute SAVE - I honestly did not even worry about the food itself.....but then Saturday came and Chris and his team were there and the food was UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Seriously incredible - the most succulent smoked prime rib I have ever had, delicious green beans with bacon, potato casserole that was to die for and my personal favorite the strawberry-walnut salad!!! They set up, served, cleaned and were gone - smooth, professional and seamless. The Butcher Shop not only has unbelievable food but they are incredible people to whom I owe the success of my wedding reception! THANK YOU, Chris!

The atmosphere here is great. My waiter was amazing.. But, the steak really isn't worth the price if I had to be honest. I had better steak at a local sushi place. It was very dry, chewy, and there's no flavor. They charged extra to add any type of sauce/flavoring or if you wanted to substitute a side for something else. I ordered a steak medium well, it came out medium rare. Just keep this in mind if you're going for steak. Also ordered wine, which came out not even chilled (it was hot) and they didn't put the bottle on ice. No one wants hot alcohol, its not the same. The waiter was kind enough to put it in a fridge to attempt to chill the last glass that was left in the bottle. I see other reviews saying this is great, Maybe I just had a bad cook or maybe the waiter grabbed a warm bottle.... Who knows, it was my first and last time at this establishment.

I recently had a birthday brunch here and I must say I'm beyond happy with the turnout. The server was top notch, very accommodating and patient. I had about 20+ guests and they were all taken cared of. We ordered two meat platters to start off and everyone loved it! The vegan/vegetarian menu was available and had many delicious items. The space inside is big and clean, the outdoor patio and green area is very cute, perfect for families and friends. I will definitely be a regular now and bring friends whenever possible.

This was the best steak I have eaten. The waiter was awesome! I can't remember his name but he graduating from NC State graduate school and he was super nice. I was having a bad day and traveling on a long road trip. The Butcher Shop went out of their way to make my bad day better. Aside from the superb service, the food was better than any steak house I have ever been too!

The atmosphere here is great. My waiter was amazing.. But, the steak really isn't worth the price if I had to be honest. I had better steak at a local sushi place. It was very dry, chewy, and there's no flavor. They charged extra to add any type of sauce/flavoring or if you wanted to substitute a side for something else. I ordered a steak medium well, it came out medium rare. Just keep this in mind if you're going for steak. Also ordered wine, which came out not even chilled (it was hot) and they didn't put the bottle on ice. No one wants hot alcohol, its not the same. The waiter was kind enough to put it in a fridge to attempt to chill the last glass that was left in the bottle. I see other reviews saying this is great, Maybe I just had a bad cook or maybe the waiter grabbed a warm bottle.... Who knows, it was my first and last time at this establishment.

Went to this location for the first time last night.! location was good and was set up nicely… We ordered some of their appetizers which were good and then proceeded to order a steak like the beautiful ones we saw in the case as we walked in?? .. before we ordered we were told there was a special on aged New York strip!… which I declined because I dislike the rotten taste… !! I ordered a normal New York strip Medium! The steak I got was barely half an inch thick ( also look like it was cooked in a George foreman grill ). ...Super Dry no juice on the plate the fat tasted rotten ! I question the waiter, the waiter told me 100% it was the normal cut even though it looked nothing like the one in the case ? so good luck buying a good steak here you’ve been warned… All night burping up rotten steak!…The chef thinks he is slick ..Or the owner is a cheapskate.. just trying to get rid of their old Meat on paying Customers. these people have no business trying to age meat ! Just sell it fresh! Go to the Palm Beach Grill for consistency and quality 100%

I heard about this place on Facebook and decided to check them out. I came on Sunday, which happened to be "in the biz" night. I work at a local bar so all of my drinks were half off and they ran happy hour appetizers all night long. The bartender Leigh made us one of the best old fashioned I've ever had. This might be my new favorite watering hole!

Not the "highest-end" steak place in Little Rock, but it's priced well and I've never had a bad steak there. Sides are all good. Wine list is short but well priced, and you are welcome to bring your own bottle. Staff is always very pleasant although they do occasionally get spread thin. It's a very safe option for a steak house, but if you're looking for something special, I'd recommend Arthur's or Sonny Williams

I have eaten here plenty of times and love everything about it! Until this last visit... food was still fantastic, waitress was wonderful (Leah, I think?) and we were even given free dessert for a birthday we were celebrating. However, we walk back to our car and our window had been shattered with things stolen out of the back. Obviously this is not the restaurants fault but we went back into the restaurant to wait on the police to arrive and stay warm and the hostess went to get the manager just to let him know what happened. He first asks us if we were parked under a street light, and yes we were directly under one. And then follows it with “Well I don’t know what you want us to do about it” and just walks away ..... very insensitive when we just spent quite a bit of money in your restaurant and then had this unfortunate thing happen to us. We weren’t expecting him to do anything but just thought he should know it happened since we were making a police report on their property. After being treated like that, I doubt we will ever return. The police officer also informed us that he wanted to try this restaurant but refuses to because of the amount of break ins that happen there.

My husband and I visited the Butcher Shop last night and we were not overly impressed. We were seated promptly and were admiring the decor while waiting for our waitress. She appeared after several minutes and was pleasant enough. After ordering and appetizer and the main course, we were pretty much ignored. Our salad arrives after 17 minutes and then our main course. We never received our appetizer and we informed her of this oversight. We decided to cancel the appetizer and continue with the meal. He ordered a T-Bone and I ordered the Sirloin. His T-Bone was very tough and chewy. My Sirloin was cooked to my specifications. We will give them another try later on, however, not anytime soon.

Went to the butcher shop on a Wednesday night for dinner, party of 2. Place was pretty empty and we were seated right away. High top tables and accompanying stools are incredibly uncomfortable. Sadly this is the majority of their non-bar seating for smaller parties. Server was nice enough but very slow with everything despite walking by frequently and having few customers. I ordered the BBQ Butcher sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich itself was nuclear hot in the middle, as if it had been microwaved far too long, and dry as a bone. The flavors would have been pretty good otherwise but nothing special. The sweet potato fries were dynamite (and the only reason this is not a 1 Star review) but the green dill sauce accompanying them, though very tasty, resembled boogers in color and consistency. My boyfriend’s boneless wings and fries basket (daily special) was abysmal with rubbery poorly trimmed chicken and half a basket of burnt fry ends. Mismatched silverware served in mason jars , condiments in metal ice buckets, and grainy oversized projection TV screens completed the flea market ambience. The black/green tinged rotting meats displayed in a case by the door were also a sure indication we would never return.

It's more of a fancy chili's than a nice restaurant. Will not return. It's loud and not particularly romantic. Not to mention, our waitress was obnoxious and didn't know what she was talking about in describing the menu. In order of our visit: the touted Ariel Dip is merely okay, the salads are wilted and brown, the steak is tasty and so is the bread (a positive), the potato and shrimp leave flavor to be desired, avoid the strawberry / key lime cheese cake as it tastes like green apple Laffy Taffy, and sadly the plain cake was over cooked and ruined for it.

So glad we found out about this restaurant! Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We had the brisket pierogies which were so flavorful! Also had the signature burger and jalapeño burger which were both very tasty and juicy. Only disappointment was the $9 dry kids chicken fingers. I've been here several times for lunch and always had a great experience. Today we went for Mother's day brunch and it was very disappointing. We understand holidays will be slow and a bit chaotic but this was over the top. We had a reservation for 12 and were given a table with 10 chairs. No one offered to help so we found chairs from other tables ourselves. We were given one single menu for the whole table. I went up to the hostess, who was doing nothing but chatting with the other hostess, and told her our table of 12 only had 1 menu. She literally handed me one more. The very limited menu was further limited by the unavailability of the first item, the chicken and waffles. Our table sat at 1 and didn't get food until almost 3. We had 3 young kids with us, which made the cramped table that much more challenging. At no point did anyone make mention of the large outdoor play area, which would have been amazing for restless kids waiting 2 hours for food. It wasn't until we took them for a walk and found it ourselves. Since it was half empty we decided to move out there. Sure would have been nice if someone mentioned it. Instead when I told the hostess our party of 12 was only given 10 chairs, all I got was a snippy "thats the best we have". The server was working hard but clearly overwhelmed as we saw at least 2 tables get up and walk out before getting their food. When the food did come it was pretty good, though breakfast food at 3PM wasn't really appropriate and they refused to let us order off the lunch menu. They did take 30% off the check because it was such a disaster, which we appreciate, but you guys really need to tighten things up and give the hostesses an attitude adjustment.

I took a buck to the butcher shop had steaks made from the back straps and hind quarters from the deer. And any trim meat into sausage. My total came to 409 dollars!!! Chris claimed I had 100 lbs of just trim meat. Which means my deer would of weighed btw. 350 to 375 lbs. there's no way!! Id say I also bought someone's deer that they didn't pick up. I'll never use them again for this reason as they are willing to screw there customers to make money.

Let me just say, I REALLY wanted to give this 5 stars... The meat and the size of the portions was incredible! The service was beyond superb! The beer selection was absolutely terrible. Anyone who thought this beer menu was amazing clearly hasn't been to any of the several dozen other establishments that serve truly amazing varieties of craft beer. We ended up walking to downtown to get a good beer before leaving the area just so we didn't feel like we only went out for eating. We know we're going back for a meal, but we'll be going earlier so we can still have time for drinks elsewhere.

Went for happy hour. The inside is really cute and the outdoor area was huge! My friend brought his dog and they brought him a water bowl right away. The staff was friendly and not overbearing. The prices were on point. All drinks were half off and there were plenty of options on the happy hour food menu. The main menu was extensive too and looked wonderful! We got sliders, sweet potato fries, pretzel bites and a charcuterie cone (had to see what that even meant). Everything was super good!! Will definitely be going back.

Interesting business proposition. Although, it is not exactly a "butcherie" since it is much more a restaurant than a butcher place. Went there with 3 friends. Was able to share the Bone-In Prime Dry-Aged Ribeye among 3 which was delicious. The market price was $125 that day. According to the waiter "it embodied everything they were about". They also managed to get us a table despite us not having a reservation.

We go here all the time because this is my husband's favorite place to get prime rib. Loves the horseradish they serve. I'm just waiting for a different "soup of the day," because it has been the same FOREVER (the reason for 4 stars)! Not to say it isn't good (Baja Chicken), but if you're a regular and get bored, it gets old. The Ariel dip is fantastic and if you like a kick, get your steak or chicken blackened. What a surprise! This is a hidden little gem of a place, came recommended by a friend! Our waitress was very helpful, she suggested the half chicken and mashed potatoes instead of the chicken and waffles. Great call! Half chicken was cooked just right and the mashed potatoes tasted great with the chives. I also added parts of the rosemary fig, never expected a presentation like this. Service was excellent and friendly throughout. Several local brews are on tap, included Due South caramel cream. The open space out under the tree was reserved for a party at the time, but it looked like it would have been a lot of fun with all the games out there. Support the locals here and keep it a hidden gem!

My husband and I like to go out to eat at interesting places, sit at the bar, and enjoy a few drinks. I had high hopes for this place and I'll probably come back sometime, but ONLY for the food. The food is great - good selection and great taste. Unfortunately.. the beer is extremely overpriced! $8 for a pint of your average brew is crazy. But it wouldn't be so bad if the bartender wasn't so rude. For someone who works for tips she has a terrible attitude, doesn't say thank you, qnd clearly doesn't understand customer service. I've worked in the industry in the past and I know that having rude and careless employees is a quick way for a cool place to shut down.

I went to the Butcher Shop last night for the first time and had a great experience. I also thought it was important to leave a review simply based on the fact that some of the negative reviews on here are a little misleading. To start off, the service was great. So many reviews on here talk about poor service, but I saw every server refilling drinks, paying attention to their tables and engaging with customers. Not every consumer wants a waiter on top of them all night, all of our beers and beverages were refilled in a timely manner and our server was so helpful when it came to recommending things off the menu for our first visit. As far as the setting, we sat outside, the place was crowded, but still could have had our option to sit anywhere. Would be an awesome place to get some beers and watch a game. Now on to the food.. We started off with the pretzel and beer cheese, which was outstanding. From there we moved on to two of the Grilled Platters and got variations of the rubs and sauces. The sweeter Brat was amazing, the chicken was incredible. Only opportunity for the entire evening was that I didn't love the butcher cut steak that was on the platter. For our sides we went with both French Fries and Sweet Potato fries. The SP Fries were some of the best I ever had. For our main course we went with the Prime Rib which was also outstanding. We also got the Mac and Cheese which was great. I would 110% return and plan on doing so. I think a lot of the reviews on here may be a little bias towards the evening they may have had and are definitely not the majority opinion of this venue. Our whole table will be returning and if we can ask for our same server, we will be doing so. Thank you Butcher Shop for making my birthday a great experience and I can't wait to return.

Great place! I love the concept of a butcher shop/restaurant concept. With their emphasis as a butcher shop, they specialize on the craft of butchery. You will see a plethora of sausages, prime cuts, and dry aged steaks available for purchase. It is cool to see tomahawk steaks in the dry age fridge. Their menu is great. For appetizers, the most popular thing to get is their brisket pieorgies and Mongolian duck wings. Both appetizers blew me away because I have never tried anything like it. Definitely give the Mongolian duck wings a try: the sauce is sweet and savory all while there is a unforgettable crunch to it. For the entrees: I ordered and recommend the butchers plate; especially if it is your first time there. The butchers plate comes with their butcher cut steak, fresh beer bratwurst, chicken thighs, and chichurri sauce. It also comes with a side of fries that are really good. The restaurant has seating indoors and outdoors as well as a bar inside. The outdoor seating space is great to enjoy the south Florida weather all while accompanied by one of their many beers on the menu. Their menu is fairly priced for what you get in comparison to restaurants of this caliber in the area. I heard about this place from 2 people that loved this place and looked forward to trying the food. I am 6 months pregnant, so I asked for a well done burger. The first time they brought it, I noticed the meat (medium rare) I showed it to the waiter and he apologized and promised to have it cooked properly. The second time I assumed the burger was cooked, took a bite into it and it was still pink inside. I showed it to the waiter again and he apologized. He could not understand what was going on, he told me they would take care of it. He had the manager come out removed the burger from our bill and I was told a new burger was gonna be cooked. After an hour and a half of waiting we just took the burger home. Unfortunately when I got home it was still medium rare. If it was based on the burger, I would give it a 1 star but the people were very nice and the appetizer was delicious. I don’t think I would try a burger there again, at least not while I’m pregnant.

It was a shame because we wished someone would have called us before, instead of letting us know at the the door. Not the "highest-end" steak place in Little Rock, but it's priced well and I've never had a bad steak there. Sides are all good. Wine list is short but well priced, and you are welcome to bring your own bottle. Staff is always very pleasant although they do occasionally get spread thin. It's a very safe option for a steak house, but if you're looking for something special, I'd recommend Arthur's or Sonny Williams

Intimate eatery that prides itself on its meat dishes. The beef carpaccio and charcuterie board were excellent, as were the duck breast and sirloin entrees, though the bolognese was a bit on the salty side. The tomato soup was also delicious, and you can't beat having Lord Hobo available to wash it all down. The flourless chocolate cake is an appropriately scrumptious way to finish off what will surely be an outstanding overall meal.

The steak was overcooked but had a gamey taste as well as very tough. The salad had turned as well. The service was good though. A summer night in Boston and we decided to go The Butcher Shop in the South End. You can never go wrong with any of Barbara Lynch’s restaurants. We started with their bread with honey and butter. I can have a few plates of this with just a glass of wine! The mixed of the honey and butter is heavenly! We wanted something light for our dinner. For appetizer, we ordered the summer squash salad topped with some dried crispy and flavorful prosciutto. Next, we had the spicy tomato soup. For entree, we ordered the Agnolotti. It had cloumage, figs and lemon verbena. It tasted light, fluffy and lemony! I love this dish best. The wines, food and service were excellent as always.

Went with a party of five and waited for 40 minutes past our reservation. The only thing that I can say was on point at this place was the service. Food took a long time but they gave us a large cheese board as thanks for waiting for our table and were very friendly and helpful. Friend and I split the bolognese and the sirloin. Fresh pasta was nice but the sauce was lacking in flavor in my opinion. The steak was barely edible. It was tough and took serious effort to cut it with my steak knife let alone chew it. I am not one to send things back but I seriously considered it this time. Place is small and crammed with tables so personal space is nonexistent. Cordial bar only which was a disappointment as I was looking forward to my favorite cocktail with dinner. I didn’t make the reservation so I don’t know how well advertised the cordial only is done. Would have given one star if it weren’t for the staff.

33.25 pounds of deer meat on my slip, get quoted at 160$ for 10 pounds of beef sticks,10 pounds of salami and the rest into hamburger.... needless to say. I show up I had put $50 down the lady tells me my bill is $221.74 and all I got for my $261.74 was 5 pounds of beefsticks and 20 pounds of salami. Ok not really what I ordered but thats fine i like salami, but where the hell did the rest of the deer go? 8 pounds of supposed to be hamburger somewhere! Not to mention the extra $100 charge? I give two start cause the beef sticks are great, but scamming customers is not, wont ever go back.
