Meat was not fresh we have had animals processed our whole lives and the meat we got back was old!!!

I don't know what to say. Ozark Custom Butchering is staffed by the most unhappy people in the world. I don't know what it's like to be a butcher, so they get a pass. However, I ordered $80 of summer sausage and they grabbed the sausage from a pile, and handed to me. It wasn't my deer. Why does that matter? I killed my deer and brought it there immediately after I gutted it. Some people leave their deer in the woods for days, gut shot, with possums crawling in and out of them. I don't want someone else's gut shot, half rotten deer. Unacceptable. Second, I didn't get back any inner loin. The second best part of the deer. Third, I received back 5 small packages of back strap. The deer I killed was 135 lbs field dressed. The back straps were 4 ft long, per side. It should have been close to 8lbs of back strap. I got back two pounds. I gave the two stars because the breakfast sausage is great. I prefer B n R, they are Cheaper, vacuum seal and pleasant. I've brought them 5 deer and never left scratching my head.
