They also will do custom orders for specific cuts of meat. Priced very reasonable for butcher fresh cut meat. Oh - and their bacon is the best in NWA! Cheers!

I moved here from the Bay Area 2 months ago and have bought meat here twice: (1) 1.5 lbs of ground chuck and (2) 1 chicken breast. My husband and I don't like freezing meat, so we buy the exact amount whenever we need it. That makes shopping at Walmart a huge pain, because meat comes pre-packaged there and if you want less than the smallest package, you end up buying/making more than you need! So on that alone, we came to Jim's. But WOW. both meats were SO fresh. The chicken breast was better than the organic chicken I bought at Walmart (which was 2x the price...the most expensive one at Walmart). There were no blood clots at all and the color was great - not even the slightest hint of gray. A friend was over my house at the time I was cooking it and commented, "that chicken looks so fresh! Where did you get it?" The ground chuck is super fresh too and the price is great (and it is on sale on Wednesdays). These folks are kind, and have great variety (ask about other kinds of meat, they will probably have it in the back if you don't see it out front), have FRESH meat, and great prices. Seriously, stop buying your meat at Walmart and come here. You won't be disappointed. I am the type of person who would pay good money for great quality, and I haven't found anything fresher than Jim's in Bentonville / Springdale. And I don't even need to pay $$$$ for it. Only advice I have to management is to provide a little more information about the meat via signage - organic / not organic...expiration... origin, etc. Otherwise, you are doing great! Don't close shop, I will be a committed customer.

I have taken my deer trimmings to Jim's for the last five years. Each year I am charged more and my end product is not as good. Last year for my summer sausage and pepper sticks I spent nearly $800 and was actually disappointed with it. I called and talked to them and they didn't care. Please think twice about going to Jim's, they no longer show me that they take pride in their job. I will NEVER go back to them for ANYTHING!

They make some excellent breakfast sausage patties. However, the last time I stopped in, the lady working there acted as if I was being a bother by coming in to shop. She answered a couple questions curtly and seemed rather anxious that we make our purchases and leave. We did. I haven't gone back.

Jim's Meat Market is one of my very favorite stops to make when in Iron River Wisconsin.They have the best products hands down!! My favorite is their Teriyaki Sticks,Cheese Curds and amazing Bacon.Jim always has a nice word when you stop in to see him.Don't miss out,Stop By Soon
