This is a meat lover's HEAVEN!! I saw so many products that I didn't think existed anymore! EVERYONE who worked there was nice and attentive and patient. They have local honey, biscuit mix, and chili starter. All of the meat was fresh and amazing looking. And the place was super clean! Even the corners! If you're a fan of old fashioned meat markets; this is your spot! Pickled eggs, fresh salsa, and smoked cheese! Even scorpion cheese!!! Let me stop, I could go on forever! Last thing - it didn't smell like a meat market! How do they do it?! This place is an Arkansas treasure!!

I took my deer meat here to have it processed and when I got it back and I had started cooking it I came to realize that they did NOT clean the meat properly and there was hair all through the meat and they did NOT clean my cooler either. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone for any reason. I will never go back.

We bought 2 meat packages one for 159.00 and one for 52.00 bought some new york strip steaks and other things total 252.00. When we got back home dint have everything in our meat packages ordered 5 steaks only gave us two even though we paid for five. We're were missing a 5lb bag of leg quarters, 2-2 1/2a bag of catfish nuggets, 3 steaks and one box of beef patties. We called them as soon as we realized that they didn't give us everything. The girl was very rude questioned why it took so long to call we explained we drove 75 miles and call as soon as we got home,she said she would check the camera's and call us back, she called back basically said we were lying . This was bs why would we make up food missing and go through the hassle of calling and reporting something false. My fiancé said a cuss word to me she said I'm not going to even try to help you if you are going to cuss, he never cussed her period they don't even deserve a star. So beware check your sacks before you leave!! The food and service was very poor!! We will never go back!! Sorry place for good service and meat sucked!! Thinking about small claims court, I have recite and would love to see video!!

We bought one of their meat packages and couldn't believe how much water was added. Everything shrunk up when cooked. Shouldn't take a pound of ground beef to make a quarter pounder. Have not and will not buy there again.

Recently had a deer processed here. I typically do them myself, however I was out of time. Received my deer back from them a week later. They had it neatly wrapped in my cooler. However, everything has hair in it, in addition, I’ve crunched down on a few bones in the summer sausage I ordered. I had 0 hair when dropping it off. Just goes to show they throw everything/anything in their meat grinders. I chipped my tooth with a piece of bone. Needless to say, they will be receiving my dental bill... NEVER BRING YOUR DEER HERE.

I went to Hogg's meat because of the reviews. The store is clean, and everyone was polite and courteous, shopping was a pleasure. However, the meat wasn't very good. We bought New York Strips, and chuck and some other stuff. The cut on the strips was too thin and the steaks incredible tough. My husband who is easy to please wouldn't finish the steak. We also bought some ground chuck, and it was lacking in flavor. I was quite disappointed. Maybe we got a bad batch, but it was the worst meat I've ever had.

It's such a good deal for our family and budget and we get top quality meat!!
