Great meat and seafood store. I drive for about 30mins to get here and have never been disappointed.
One of the better Tex Mex places. Good drinks, good food, good menu selection, good service. Live music at times.
I love the people
The shrimp was fresh and they had the cajun seasoning that I wanted. Very friendly staff will definitely be going again
Great price, super helpful and friendly people! Will definitely come back for future seafood purchases.
Best crawdads you can buy..They have them cooked perfectly.A customer 4 life. Very helpful staff, well educated on how to cook their products, fair prices..
I drove 48 mins to this location for it to be closed for the day when the phone says 10-6 tue-Saturday no one is picking up so now I have to go to Kroger’s to fix my seafood pasta
Awesome family owned/ran, very passionate, caring and respectful, with a to die for selection of products.
Great Cajun place!! Everything you need
Without a doubt the best crawfish ever. Out of 120 lbs maybe 20 dead crawfish. Very nice sized as well. In their own words " no trotline bait sold here".
Very helpful and nice. Offered advise on preparing the product I had purchased.
The best customer service! I will ALWAYS get my crawfish at Floyds Meat & Seafood. Thank so much for your help!!!
This place is great! You can get any kind of meat or seafood you are looking for! Mrs. Lisa and her husband run a great store. They have always taken good care of me. Example today went in got supplies for a shrimp boil and to pick up a box of catfish I had ordered. There was a mixup with the catfish. No issues at all she took care of me and I left happier than if no mix up occurred! They are truly great folks, wonderful to do business with, and always take care of their customers!
Love this place. Great variety of products. Larry and Linda are so helpful and nice!!!
I am a proud foodie and know high quality food. I was impressed with the quality of their shrimp and will drive the extra miles form my home to buy form them plus they are a local company that is a priority to me in supporting. They really care about their product and seafood. Thank you
Well I have mixed feelings on my experience, as far as having all you need to have a great crawfish boil, I think this is a perfect place! My issue came when I got ready to pay for a $700.00 order! They made me pay 3 percent extra because I used a credit card! I didn't care for that but I could live with it! I had $475.00 cash that I wanted to pay for some of my items to save the 3 percent! I don't think that's too much to ask for, but the lady treated me like I was being unreasonable! Because it was busy in the store! REALLY! What I would have done if I were her is taken $15.00 off the order and moved on, if I was too busy to split the order! They made me feel like they are the only game in town and they are entitled! Nice people, but very selfish in my opinion! That's my experience! VERY LAST TRIP FOR ME!
Since I cannot find a way to reply to the owners rudeness and lies elsewhere, I'll do it here. Telling a customer to leave the state is rude. You May be right about your web site but I called taking for granted that a good business would let the customer know during the conversation that "Although we boast Louisiana style crawfish it is not cooked on site and the veggies/ sausage will be raw." The conversation I had with the employees was precise in that I wanted things ready to serve. I would have chosen the live crawfish if I would have known I was going to have to break out my pots. I haven't been married for years so yes it was me that ordered them and yes it was me that picked them up and yes I was treated very rudely just as was the lady in front of me was. Because the couple in front of me were having the same issue with the employees is probably why it takes so long to take care of your cusyomers. If anyone would like witness to any of this please contact me via FB. It wasn't graduation time and even if it was, the order that was placed well in advance should have been pulled, put into boxes and waiting (or so you would think). As far as "being your cook", you just said you were not a restaurant, plus, you couldn't afford my skills. Lastly, look at the other reviews similar to mine, isn't it odd that they say almost the exact same thing. I'll keep posting my negative reviews. People I come from Louisiana and when these Yahoo's boast their style and service I have to laugh. I can go get better service and crawfish at a number of other places. The rudeness is un-acceptable. My situation was that I called in three days before for FRESH BOILED crawfish, not DAY OLD BOILED crawfish with the sausage and veggies. (The crawfish were cold, veggies uncooked) I was having a party and didn't feel like cooking but ended up doing so because of this place. I spent right at $400 and when I voiced my concerns I was told that's the way it is and we had words. Not only this but having to wait for over 45 minutes to be waited on for this aggravation. In Louisiana when you order boiled crawfish for a certain time they are fresh boiled out of the pot and into your ice chest with sausage and veggies cooked in with them. So Ms Marshall please don't act hurt or that you are surprised when some of your customers don't feel your business is up to their expectations and report it in a review. I'm not saying the service I received is the norm because everyone has bad days but please do not attack us when we give a review about our experience. If ever I decide to try your place again and received good service I would review it as such. V/r Billy Ouber
The.best.these folks and selection are the best.always a wonderful experience stopping by,they've kept the tradition up since the olde days from jville. Friendly, down home, top notch, shrimper fry!
Went there for the first time today asked for the prices of the steak, the owner was very helpful, answered my question and told me he expected me to be there on the first or second next month to pick up steaks
The owners couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Quality meat and fresh seafood, explanations on why they sell this and not that. I will definitely be back, but I'm disappointed in didn't know of this place before. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be their number one customer soon. If we could only get a place like this in West Little Rock. Thank you guys! The food was great! The store and everything about it : ca c'est bon!
Great place for people looking for Boudin, Crawfish, Shrimp, Andouille sausage, Tasso. Ordering and picking up Crawfish was seamless. All your boiling needs are sold there.
Amazing staff and great products! Best place for crawfish in the area, everything you need for a boil!
I would have to say Floyds is the best place I have found anywhere around for fresh seafood. I lived in sherwood for a while and never found anything remotely close to the quality of the meat and service they offer. Fantastic place and people!
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service...will never be back! Waited in line 15 minutes while workers were chit chatting just to be told to come back in 30 minutes...um no! I will take my business elsewhere!
If you are looking for a store that sell Louisiana products, then Floyd's Meat and Seafood is the place you want to visit!!! I moved to Arkansas five months ago. Christmas is nearing and I wanted to give my staff a Christmas party that had a taste of Louisiana. I was preparing to drive back to Louisiana to pick up some boudin, sausages, and Roux when I was led to conduct a search for "Arkansas stores selling Louisiana products" WoW!! to my surprise there was one only 30 minutes from my place. I was excited!!!I call the store just to hear the voice on the other end of the phone. Well, it was not a Cajun voice but the gentleman, I do believe him name is Larry, was so nice and friendly. He told a couple of Cajun jokes (he did a good job with the jokes) and proceeded to tell me about the products offered. I was impressed!!! I made my way to the store a few days later. I was filled with joy to see so many Louisiana products. I felt like I was at home! The store owner was so nice and friendly. We talked for at least one hour and a half. She told some Cajun jokes as well. The store was clean and well organized. The products was truly Louisiana products. As customers came in to make purchases it was a great feeling to engage in conversation about the Louisiana products. The customer service, the cleanliness, and the availability of fresh products made me feel like I was back in Louisiana. If you are looking for a taste of Louisiana in Arkansas then Floyd's Meat and Seafood is the place to go!!! I will be frequent guest!!!!
Lisa is awesome! Helped me out in a pinch when I needed a bag of crawdiddys on super short notice. Extremely friendly and professional. Ill be getting all my crawdads from here moving forward!
I've been coming here since 2006. Food has always been great. Shellfish is the freshest in Arkansas and priced at market average. Customer service is always superb. They have everything you need for a variety of events. They will even give you great cooking instructions if need be. This is the only place I trust in the state for quality and assurances of food.
I brought several items from them it's my last time. Customer service horrible. Was made to feel like I was a problem. Because I was given bad seafood. Lisa definitely had an attitude because of it. Instead of saying bring it back. She was very defensive and accused me of raising my voice because I told her I know the difference between bad Seafood which is not the same as Seafood smelling like Seafood. Been a customer for over 10 years.. She was nice enough to offer my money or exchange after we went around and around. This is it Done.
Best in all of little rock!!!!
Drove from Conway, very nice man when it came to getting what I wanted. Stood in line for over 30 minutes. When got to the register lady start calling peoples name and taking there orders. When a man said go ahead take care of them she responded no it's okay while my two younger children cried. Then when I asked if someone could ring us out she had a nasty attitude telling me that she can't ring me out till our stuff is there which our stuff was sitting there the whole time. Then said she's doing her best getting people who's been there the longest. Left didn't get anything after driving from Conway anf after having 2 kids cry. Response to owner post: Sorry my dear husband wasn't embarrassed but neithersuprise from your response to my post. Also there weren't 40 people in the store that's very funny. Your husband took as long as he did for the fact he has fantastic customer service skills and I feel very sorry for him because it seems all bad ratings are only pointed toward you and your attitude rudeness and unprofessionalism. We won't be back we actually found a place who had crawfish on hand and everything else with lower prices gladly our crawfish was alive unlike comments I read about yours
This places exudes deep Louisiana and Cajun vibes. The quality of the staff and various products they sell, coupled with their phenomenal prices, is the difference that places them a cut above the rest here in the heart of Arkansas. I purchased 127lbs of Crawfish and three bags of "Slap Ya Mamma" Crawfish boil seasoning; even for crawfish being in season, the sizes of these mudbugs were impressive. That says a lot about their high standard of quality control when they consider their vendors for obtaining live, fresh, and sizeable crawfish. They even loaded the bags of live crawfish for me with some crawfish prep pro-tips before I left. If you want Cajun in the heart of Arkansas this is THE place, in my opinion! Thanks as always, Floyd's!
A bit more expensive than lets say, a regular chain market. People family that work there are wonderful and great as it is a great little family business.
If you love seafood, Floyd's Meat Market is the place to go.Good prices and good people.
Great!!! As always...
For a man with no taste buds (Sorry, Floyd), this guy makes about the best sausage I've ever tasted. If you're looking for advice on how to season or cook any particular cut of meat, go on in and ask. They've never steered me wrong.
