They make the best smoked turkey or ham sandwiches and we always pick up a few pounds of the best bacon we've ever had. Best bacon on the planet. I have also had the summer sausage, venison sausage and smoked cheddar. All of them were excellent. Ate lunch there a few weeks back and the sandwich was massive (and delicious). If you like smoked meats, this is the best available. The folks who served us were super friendly and welcoming. I am fortunate to only live a couple of hours away.

I was impressed with the smoked bacon and ham for sure, however, my wife noticed the dirty looks and bad attitude of the young man helping us and I agreed. I went back a few days later and was treated rudely again. I cannot stress enough that your only as good as your staff no matter how good your meat is. Staff dictates the over all experience to the customer which was hostile.

A friend gave me so Summer Smoked Meat from here last week. It was the best I had ever had. Today I drove 4 hrs round trip to get more along with bacon and jerky. I have just finished cooking and eating some of the bacon. I have eaten a lot of bacon over the years. I have never had any this good anywhere. While it's the most I have ever paid for bacon, given the fuel cost and time, I'll be happy to do it again.

Been going here for 25 years. Went back again yesterday. The turkey and ham had almost no smoke taste. The bacon was very light smoke taste. Definitely a decline in quality, however, the prices continue to go up. Also, the owner (elderly woman) was there and our entire party felt like we were interrupting her work by being there to buy stuff. Very unfriendly.

If you're wondering if this is a place to stop, wonder no more. This place has hands the best sandwiches I've ever had. You get a choice of ham or turkey, smoked cheddar or swiss, and for bread it's white or wheat. And there is nothing else. They have some mayo or mustard if you need it. If you want a fancy Nancy place with a million options and all kinds of unnecessary stuff on your sandwich, this place isn't for you. Also, you don't deserve this food. They have canned sodas, and bags of chips. There's nowhere to sit except a few random picnic tables. But I'd rather eat this amazingness in my car than any other food in a fancy comfortable restaurant. You might also want to bring a cooler and buy some of their meat by the pound. And don't forget a pound of their bacon. It cannot be beat.

I have never been, myself, so I can't comment on the store, but my mom used to bring us pounds of their bacon and smoked cheddar when she would go to visit family back in Arkansas and we savor every.last.bit of that bacon!!! I've never been so protective of meat, but we have to determine if an occasion is special enough to use some of the Coursey's bacon or if we can just make do with store-bought. Best bacon I have ever had.
