Has the best meat in town!
Super friendly, super helpful.
We had a deer processed there and I was not impressed. It was our first there to ever get anything done there we usually to another place that is close to our lease but due to not being at our lease because we this deer with our vehicle and didn't have time to drive to our normal processor. The items that were freezer sealed had tons of air in it which means it will bad faster also it burger was in bags that were twisted with some kind of tape to hold them close. I never seen this done before maybe because it seems like the worst way to do it. I was excepting way more quality for the price I was paying. Especially since I didn't get any fat added to the meat it was just plain burger and the tenderloin sliced into steaks.
Amazing service, excellent product
If you want quality meat and great service this is the place! They offer meat packages that save you money and fill up your freezer. They also process deer and make summer sausage that is delicious. Definitely a must try for all your meat needs!
It is with great disappointment, that I write this review. I had high hopes for this meat market. I went in, and bought their most expensive package deal. I was rather excited about the amount of meat I was receiving for the price. The ladies were extremely kind, and they even gave my daughter a sucker. I got home, and realized that most of the items were frozen. So, I couldn't cook the beef had planned on for dinner that night. Then as my husband, and I were separating things to put some in our deep freezer, I noticed the NY strips were rather dark, as well as the beef. There were several itams I have thrown out due to them being rancid after thawing them. The NY strips were so bad, the smell almost made me vomit when I opened the vacuum sealed package. The beef was completely rotten, even the blood was a dark brown color. I had high hopes for them, but as the month goes on, I am becoming rather angry with the amount of money I wasted at this place. I wanted to try them because they were closer than most meat markets from my home. If you do decide to use them, I highly recommend that you check ALL of your meat before you leave.. I will never return to them. I told my parents about it, and they informed me that the same happened to them a few months back. It appears this is a re-accruing problem with this buisness. So, buyer beware!!! P.S. when your 3 year old says the smell makes her think of using the bathroom... there is something REALLY wrong. I have half a mind to call the health department. I will upload pictures to back this up, as I have been taking them this whole time. EDIT: uploaded 3 pics of the beef I thawed out today. They had given it to me frozen. Smells horrible, and it might be hard to see in pics, but it is brown, and absolutely not safe to eat. I am contacting the local heath department. This is NOT okay.

Great people always clean
I love Cabot meat market for processing my deer. .99 cent per lbs, they vacuum sealer and will take your deer whole.
We took 3 show hogs to Cabot Meat Market for butchering. I have lived near them for over 10 years now, but had never been in there. I have always taken my meat to Goss & Son Meat Company in Romance, AR. Goss & Son was backed up and couldn't get to my hogs for 2 months during deer season. I said what the heck and took them to Cabot. The people were very friendly and were quick to answer my questions. However, after paying $140 per hog for processing, I received 2 packages of pork chops, 1 package of bacon, and 2 hams that were actually edible. The other 293 lbs of pork was completely inedible. The inedible meat looked like it had been left out to spoil and smelled so bad, we threw it out one package at a time as we pulled them out of the freezer. When I went back to Cabot Meat Market, the staff was polite until I mentioned the problem, that is when I was accused of letting the meat set out. I am sure that they sell quality meat on their counter, but if you take your animal there to get slaughtered, BEWARE!!! I will never take anything to or buy anything from Cabot Meat Market. For quality processing, I will stick with Goss & Son Meat Company, no matter how long I have to wait during deer season.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great selection and very very good food.
Great customer service along with good quality meats.
We've been goin to them since about the end of Summer '16. The cuts have always been nice and they were always super patient with us as we debated what to get. They're our go-to place once a month when we want to stock up. We only ever went to them for chops, roasts, ribs, and chuck and always can taste a difference for the better. We prefer them over the meat market in Searcy.

I bought a steak from them at it was great! Good stuff! Also the Boars Head lunch meats are outstanding! Blows that crappy chicken butt oscar mayer bologna out of the water with dynamite!
Great prices...always fresh
always friendly!!
Ordered 4 packages of meat. Cooked two days later and the meat was spoiled. That was our family july 4th meal. Called today was told without receipt they would not return money. I do not have the receipt. Phone clerk got rude with me. I have bought food here for a long time off and on. However I will not buy food again from this store. Shame really. Would rather support a local business. However I will not support a business that cannot support me. It's not the money. This is principle.

Jessica Escalante I would NEVER EVER set foot in Cabot MEAT market again. I walked in and ordered the biggest package they offer and got some extras to go with it. I then told them I wanted the hamburger meat in 1lb incriments. They said no problem. Instead of giving me the fresh meat in the case the guy comes out from the pack with already frozen meat that was NOT wrapped in butcher paper. It was wrapped like it would be in the grocery store. I said to myself well thats ok its a lot of meat for 250 dollars i can repackage at home. I told the guy i would also like a rotisserie chicken. He says you cant have precooked food on Food Stamps. I am in no way knocking someone who has food stamps but thought this was incredibly rude since I was paying cash. I said I dont have Food Stamps. He said oh? So i get home repackage and some of the meat was WAY darker than others and some was severley freezer burnt.....about every 3rd package I took out of there SMELLED VERY VERY BAD when thawed! I was so mad! This tells me they serve frozen meat that was IMPROPERLY frozen and NO TELLING HOW LONG have been in freezer. I always go to Hoggs Meat Market and have NEVER had 1 problem with them.
Slab Bacon
2nd chance Saturday- convinced this place is a no-go! Nuff said
They have great ready to cook dinner options like stuffed pork chops, stuffed chicken, stuffed mushrooms, twice baked potatoes, stuffed bell peppers and more! Plus Boar's Head deli, high quality, hand cut steaks, deer processing, specialty items you won't find anywhere else, the list goes on! We HIGHLY recommend!
