Ordered a ham for Christmas Eve. I called to confirmed Saturday Dec 22 The employee said that my ham would be ready for pick up on Dec 24th anytime before 5pm and if I need my ham sliced to request at time of pick up. I show up to pick up my Ham at 1pm on Dec 24 and the business is closed. I now have to figure out what to feed my friends and family because I have to work until 4pm. I never leave reviews but I'm very upset this happen. Merry Christmas!

Everything pork! Chops, ribs, loins, sausage, pork bellies and bacon. You can go whole hog or buy a half a hog, too! We bought some pulled pork, in addition to the meat we got for cookin' at home. The barbecue was absolutely delicious. The behind-the-counter people were friendly and helpful. Even if you don't live in the neighborhood, it worth a trip to the Pork Shop. We drove an hour from Scottsdale and didn't regret it.

We visited the Pork Shop for the first time this week, and I can not possibly say enough good things about our experience! Product selection is phenomenal, and I love the fact that a.) they know where their pigs are coming from, and b.) they do all their own processing. All employees that we encountered were friendly and very helpful. I have a feeling that if you are looking for ANY cut that comes from a pig, they can get it for you! Countless types of bacon and sausage, dried meat sticks, fresh cuts of pork, hot precooked pulled pork, brisket, green chili pork, and burritos, lots of product samples out to try before you make your decision... they even have dog food and dried pig ears for your pets! We ended up buying some of the snack sticks, chorizo, brats, pork belly, and their hot smoked brisket. Everything was absolutely PHENOMENAL! This pork isn’t the same junk that you get in the grocery store. Prices are also extremely reasonable, for the quality you are getting. Whether you are looking for a place to grab something quick for lunch, or stocking up to cook your own masterpiece at home, this is the place to go!

I was hesitant to believe that all of the reviews were legit with as many 5* reviews as the pork shop has, but I am glad to say it lives up to the hype. Went there for the first time today and I will be a customer as long as I live in the area. I grew up going to my aunt's house and she raised pigs and we would eat her fresh bacon/pork/sausage and I can say what I had from the pork shop was even better. We got the ham garlic sausage and the whiskey cherry sausage and they were hands down the best sausage I have ever had. The jalepeno bacon and BBQ bacon were both amazing. Thick bacon, with lots of flavor and the season was present, but not strong enough to be overpowering. The green chili sticks I got were kind of a let down, they were probably the best I have ever had, but with the bar set by the bacon and sausage they were a little underwhelming. If I had only got the chili sticks I would be raving about them. I will definitely be getting their half hog special for my family when they come into town next month.

Wow, the smell here is what every BBQ joint should aspire to. And the checker with the Rollie Fingers handlebar mustache is what every guy should aspire to. Bought the most beautiful big pork chops I've seen in decades. Don't know how they taste, but they elicit anticipation. Also saw a package of green chile brats, and had to have them. My wife bought thick cut bacon for a special event she will be catering, and I expect to be amazed. Unfortunately, this is not the kind of bacon we were expecting, and it turned out to be more akin to bacon-sized strips of pork chop. This tastes nothing like you would assume bacon would taste like, and they should have relayed that fact. This is why they are getting 3 stars instead of 4. Every Saturday in October, they are going to be grilling & selling their fresh hot dogs in a bun for only a buck. Stop in with a loved one and gorge yourselves.

Wow, the smell here is what every BBQ joint should aspire to. And the checker with the Rollie Fingers handlebar mustache is what every guy should aspire to. Bought the most beautiful big pork chops I've seen in decades. Don't know how they taste, but they elicit anticipation. Also saw a package of green chile brats, and had to have them. My wife bought thick cut bacon for a special event she will be catering, and I expect to be amazed. Unfortunately, this is not the kind of bacon we were expecting, and it turned out to be more akin to bacon-sized strips of pork chop. This tastes nothing like you would assume bacon would taste like, and they should have relayed that fact. This is why they are getting 3 stars instead of 4. Every Saturday in October, they are going to be grilling & selling their fresh hot dogs in a bun for only a buck. Stop in with a loved one and gorge yourselves.

stopped by to see what it was all about. very great variety and selection! great pricing, friendly staff and quick! they have great pork burritos ready to eat that are way bigger than you think. only downside is if youd want a sandwich or something other than a burrito that is hot you have to purchase buns with the meat separately which could be a little much if it's just one or two people.

Every time I visit from Los Angeles, I make a special trip to The Pork Shop. I absolutely love the pork sticks, but everything is great and is top quality. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Oh, and the pulled pork burritos will have you dancing in the streets! They're that good. It's a bit of a drive from Phoenix proper, but trust me, it's worth every mile.

Great place for pork. We drive drom Avondale omce a month! I recommend you get there when they open. Once they're sold out of items, they're gone for the day. Also get the hot BBQ burritos. Great for breakfast! Just eat it in the parking lot before you leave.

Must stop!!!! I was in town helping my boyfriends mom pack to move. She had a stop to make ands decided to pop into The Pork Shop real quick. She told me that when I walked in i'd know why she loved it. O.M.G. She wasn't wrong!! The place smells heavenly. It brought me back to my childhood, simpler times. It's a small shop of pork pork pork all over. Beautiful slabs of sliced bacon, pork snack sticks- so many varieties! Ham hocks, pork bones for soup. Canadian bacon, roasts, chops, you name it!!! They have several rubs and sauces to accompany their pork. They even have warm, ready to eat burritos. I initially turned them down but upon heading back to the car I said it wasn't a bad deal and my bfs mom hadn't ever had one so we went back in for some. I picked the BBQ pork, it was filling and satisfying. I could have eaten a second one. SO good. She had the green chilie pork burrito and thoroughly enjoyed it and said that was a good idea. I highly recommend a stop in if you're passing by. If you're heading to The Olive Mill you should make this stop as well. Grab some snack sticks goofe the toad, some rub or sauce to gift and something to cook up for later ands if you're hungry GET A BURRITO!!!!!

You dont just go here. You experience it. Awesome selection, awesome quality. This is essentially a pork butcher, but they also have ready to eat items too! Get a burrito while you're there. Green chili is hot but tasty. BBQ pulled pork is less hot and still super tasty. At certain times of the year they brats also, which are excellent. For most of Phoenix this a long drive, but truly worth it.

The pork shop takes a while to get there in the middle of a quiet intersection with a small storefront and parking. The songs on the windows are fantastic! Once you enter it has all the look and feel of an authentic old style butcher shop. There are great samples to try and it smalls and looks great with so many great foods, sauces and spices.
