I had a ton of questions about smoking and grilling, they recommended some great cuts of meat and a dry rub, that would work best with my equipment and budget. Must eat at the DELI :) We stopped by here to pick up some ribeyes. Then we decide to hit up the deli for some burgers. I had the Camelback Chicken Sandwich.. very flavorful, everything was on point: chicken, guacamole, cheese, bread! So mouth watering and very satisfying. Can’t wait to try the ribeyes!

Don't go on a Saturday or they'll yell at you because you asked for an opinion... I was so excited to go here. I love to cook and was planning to make a really nice Gordon Ramsey recipe for my boyfriend's birthday. The recipe called for short ribs and I researched places the last two weeks to buy the best cut of meat I could... I walk in and there were a few other people waiting. The gentleman at the counter said it would be a minute and I told him it was completely fine. He was super friendly and tried to make some light conversation. A lady then walks out and asks if anyone could be helped, so I asked her if she had any short ribs. She said they didn't have any.... And then this is where things got weird. I was trying to explain what I was trying to make, she interrupts me and starts yelling at me. I look at her and ask, "Do you have anything else I could use?" She continues to yell at me, interrupts me and I tell her, it's okay, I'm just going to leave. She's STILL yelling at me as I'm leaving and it's the most embarrassing thing I've ever experienced. Saying, "that no one is going to have what you're looking for." I look at her and yell back, since Ive already opened the door at this point, "I was only looking for an alternative!" And she's STILL trying to argue with me?! She replied, "NO, you did not!" I've never been so confused, embarrassed and down right disappointed in a place. I will never return. I hope, they hire more people like the gentlemen who I first encountered. I should have asked to speak with another associate, but I didn't know what to do while someone was literally yelling at me, for asking what else I could use. Conversation went from 0 to 60 in a blink of an eye.

My daughter an I were scrambling on Christmas morning 2016 around 9am to purchase a gift for the most amazing neighbor ever. (Busy year) We were in the vicinity of Hobe meats and I said that would be a perfect gift for him. We looked over to find the store closed as it should be but a man in the parking lot getting out of the car. We approached and asked if the store is open? He said no but it is for you now. What can I help you with. The gentleman opened the shop for us and suggested a fabulous standing rib roast. I asked if he would suggest a rub. He did and then at the end said let's throw that in on the house. I can't tell you how much we appreciate this gentleman's kindness toward others on Christmas morning. We've always loved the store and service but this display of kindness needs to be put out there for others to know about. Sir I didn't catch your name (felt like the owner perhaps?) but we thank you truly from the bottom of our hearts. You have customers for life!!!!

I sent an e-mail inquiry regarding their service, and received a response from Brent just a few hours later. First of all; I have used Groupon 3 times at Hobe Meats and every time they have given me the best service and always thanked me for coming in. I don't know how they could have given someone old meat when you pick out your own meat??? The meats have always been sooo delicious and that's why we continue to purchase from them. Second of all; I purchased a 12 pound prime rib roast for my birthday and it was the most incredible roast I have ever eaten! When I want something special I go to Hobe Meat and that is where Santa will be shopping for our Christmas meal as well. They are the BEST!

unfortunately I stopped in based on reviews, asked for 5 prime strip loins @12.oz each while I was browsing around the store they packaged up 3 decent steaks then slipped in two end cuts @ 9 oz. each with the gristle vein running right down the middle of the steak. As an executive chef for over 20 years I cannot in good faith recommend this business. shame on me for assuming they have their customers best interests in mind.

Great place! I love how diverse of a selection they had! The cuts all look amazing. Very simple shop but with lots of options! Their deli looked great also and I look forward to trying it out soon. The service was great as well. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. They dont rush you and let you browse without asking you a million times if your ready yet. They were readily available when I had a question. Much nicer experience than I've had with other shops like it.

Because you know the value of there products [ al least I do ] ! If you are trying to impress the futher in laws or a new person of intrest ! It's a guarantee succes of you are serving the fine cuts you get from hobe meats !!

Hobe offers a wide selection of fresh prime grade meat. This is my go to place when I want to high quality protein. Yes, the prices are higher than Albertson's or Fry's, but they don't offer prime grade cuts. Take a cooler and treat your meat like you really care about what you eat. Great customer service, too. Talk to your butcher and tell them about your gastronomic plans. If you want assistance, they are always happy to help.

Very good selection. Nice and clean. But the prices are way out of most people's price range. I'm sure they have their reasons but 10 dollar price increase of top sirloin cut per pound is almost 300% increase of price from butchers at a grocery store.

I want to give this place more stars. They have a great selection of meat and everyone I've dealt with in the store was great. I pre-ordered a rack of lamb for Easter dinner and paid a pretty penny for it, but I was ok with a $100 piece of meat because I expected amazing quality. Cooked the meat and it was delicious but more than half of it turned out to be fat. You do expect some fat on a cut of rack of lamb but the amount on this cut was incredibly disappointing. Haven't been back since.

This is a great go to butcher shop. It has a small mom and pop feel to it. You will be treated with a very high level of customer service when you walk through the door of this place. You will also find some meats here that are on the exotic side. Take a look in the coolers. This place is one of the coolest places of its kind.

Hobe meat is the best source for prime steaks. I purchased their primo meats package for a July 4 party, and these steaks stole the show. The prices are already fair for the quality sold, but the packages are an amazing value if you are cooking for a group. They recently replaced the meat cases, so everything is clean, easy to see, and delicious. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and willing to help or just have a polite conversation. Excellently run and I will absolutely continue to be a customer.

I drive by this place just about every day on my way home and never thought once to stop by and try it. It wasn't until I was with my barber that he went and suggested to me to grab lunch from the Deli, he recommended the burger. Let must just say, WOW, the meat was so delicious and full of flavor, every bite got better and better. I also had the mac and cheese as my side and this was just as good as the burger! I will definitely be back again to try just about everything they have on their Deli menu. Just word of advice, they are not open on Sunday, :( .

You can get THEE exact same brand, Durham Farms, of ground elk and ground venison for literally half of the price at any Sprouts. Deli was good.

I have been in about 3-4 times now, but never seem to be able to get around to leaving a WELL EARNED glowing review for this business- but let me tell you- BOTH the Meats AND SERVICE IS AWESOME..SO I was TOTALLY SHOCKED to see the poor review from the "Jurassic lady?" below-(hidden meaning there?) lmfao!! NOT ONLY is this totally OUT of character ( for ANYONE employed there), that has EVER helped me, but I was actually in there that day- so I HAVE TO Call BS on this review!!! The lady had dark brown hair & wore glasses- she was sort of a short dumpy lady- (..she actually came in with an ATTITUDE if you asked ME)..the girl helping her is one of the best there!! NO WAY did she yell or mistreat that customer in ANY WAY!! SOON as I read that- I thought, WHAT???!! I was IN THERE!! I know exactly what happened- while "honest reviews", etc. are a GREAT IDEA- at the same time, it's just a SHAME that a business can be overflowing with GLOWING, 5-star reviews- and then 1 psycho having a bad day can come in and throw a fit like a toddler because she did not get what she came for, STORES RUN OUT SOMETIMES- its LIFE!! But no reason to get MAD and leave a DISHONEST bad review- I believe their long standing in the community and TONS of other HONEST reviews from Normal customers speak volumes!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP HOBES!! YUM! The VERY Best Meats in ARIZONA!!

I got the most beautiful 9 lb. Brisket! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the shop is modern, clean and quite pretty! They've got a beautiful sit down deli next door, I'll be going there next. My Mom has been going to Hobe's since the 70s, this was my first visit, and Mom's are always right. They will have my business in the future!!!!

I love Hobe Meats! The deli is a wonderful addition. I grew up in upstate New York where there are tons of delis. This has the old school deli feel and flavor. You can't see it but I have a happy face.

Hobe meat is the best source for prime steaks. I purchased their primo meats package for a July 4 party, and these steaks stole the show. The prices are already fair for the quality sold, but the packages are an amazing value if you are cooking for a group. They recently replaced the meat cases, so everything is clean, easy to see, and delicious. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and willing to help or just have a polite conversation. Excellently run and I will absolutely continue to be a customer.

I drive by this place just about every day on my way home and never thought once to stop by and try it. It wasn't until I was with my barber that he went and suggested to me to grab lunch from the Deli, he recommended the burger.
