Nice cuts of steak but low quality in terms of marbling. Also I didn't see any USDA grading for their meat. Only the gimmicky certified Angus.

I've had lots of LEGITIMATE high grade meat and the products here aren't high grade. Slightly above grocery store quality. Very expensive for what you get and the service is poor.

Nothing special here! Honestly if your going to pay these prices for choice grade beef you will be better off going to Costco and get USDA PRIME beef! Plus their customer service is very very poor! I asked them to slice the beef I was buying (FROM THEM) so I could make Phillycheese steaks for the super bowl game. He acted like cutting meat was not In his job description and told me NO! NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Even though many people rave about the quality of meat here, their friendliness of service leaves something to be desired. I was in search of shank bones and grass fed/pastured beef. When I called the person I spoke to on the phone said they had 2 types of shank - "Certified Angus" and "Grass fed". The next day I went and was treated like I wasn't worth the man behind the counters time. I asked about Grass Fed beef, which I hadn't asked about on the phone. He rudely (rudely to the point of looking down his nose at me) stated very proudly that they only carried "Certified Angus from Omaha, Nebraska meat". I'm from Omaha, and told him that I wanted grass fed, not feed lot GMO corn fed. He then tried to sing their "Certified Angus" praises. I've seen how they are finished - in big lots standing on a 10 foot high pile of manure waiting for corn. Sorry, not interested. I bought my shank bones and left. If you don't care about rude, then I guess you'd be ok going there. I won't again.

Very rude. Stopped in to get meat for jerky. This was obviously a huge hindrance. There was one other customer in the store and 2 employees. He suggested I take a card and call ahead next time because it takes about 15 minutes. The tone was certainly not to be of convenience for me, but rather him. He even was very harsh rather than friendly as he rang me up. When I left there were no other customers in the store. Sorry to be such an inconvenience. No thanks, I don't need your card. BTW, the man with the attitude I believe to be the owner.

We only buy our meats from Butcher Bob's now that we are back home in Arizona. The meat is the absolute top quality. Jason see's to that. He is extremely selective of the meat he will sell and he only selects the 'best of the best.' We appreciate that and you can tell because the taste of the meat sold at this shop is above and beyond any grocery store. The only meat we buy elsewhere is bison which we fly in from Wild Idea Buffalo. Butcher Bob's carries pretty much any other kind of meat you could want. The Carne Asada is to 'die for', trust me you will have dreams about it after you have it. Even guests we have had over for dinner called me to say that they are still dreaming about the Carne Asada. WOW! That's big!. The beef is unbelievably good, cut to your order if you want. The chicken feels and tastes so clean and fresh. Sausages are heavenly and don't even get me started on the rib roast. We typically purchase a whole half of Salmon which is flown in to the shop at the beginning of each month. It's sushi quality! Love Butcher Bob's quality and beyond that, we love to interact with everyone that works there. They treat us like 'rock stars' whenever we come in the door and they are the nicest group of people ever. We look forward to going there every time.

I told him what I was wanting to do and he guided me to the home made sausage counter. So many different choices!! So, I asked him to tell me a little bit about each of them. When he got to the polish and told me that it was a great garlic infused one, I knew I had to try it! So off I went with my purchase, I had 8 sausages and spent less than $20 so to me that is a great buy. He was right, the sausages were the hit of the party and were the 1st to go! Also, 2 people from the partyu went to Butcher Bob to purchase meats by the end of the week. They are a great local place to purchase quality grass fed meats, no corn on these guys!!

Yes, this meat market is definitely worth the drive. I live in Carefree. I place a large order 3 to 4 times a year. I have them do cuts and wrapping to my specifications. I've been doing this now for about 3 to 4 years and I have never had a problem with the service. The quality of meat is superior. I'm from the midwest, grew up in beef farm country. I know good beef when I taste it. This is the real deal.
