For decades, Mosley was my go-to butcher, when Pal Joey was in charge. I could always order special cuts and he would oblige. Lately, I have been frustrated because they have taken to getting their meat in plastic from the big processors, cutting up and selling. If you ask for a special cut, they look at you like you have 3 heads! No grass-fed beef either. I realize this is lower Alabama, but times are slowly a-changing! I guess they have enough business that they don’t need to bother. Thank God for the Farmers’ markets!

Four stars for now. Maybe five later. High quality, and priced to match. Very few prices were posted, maybe I would have purchased more if I didn't have to ask for every one. I'll give this place another whirl, when I'm not so rushed. And the two guys working there... sexy AF!

I have purchased several Boston Butts through different fundraisers at my school. If anyone out there needs to do a fundraiser, I would highly recommend this. Their smoked butts are unbeatable. Put mine in the crockpot in the morning {frozen solid}, poured a bottle of bbq sauce on top, put it on low and left it until that night. Pulled the one piece of bone out with tongs and ended up with 2 gallon zip lock bags of nothing but fabulous bbq pulled pork. The family loved it!!!!! I will definitely start buying them from the store as well. You can't beat it for a large family gathering.

I am a beef enthusiast, so I need a wide, fresh, high quality selection. This place has it. The staff are knowledgeable and the customer service is above par. Highly recommended and I will be coming back over and over and over again lol.

Not very happy, purchased one the combo boxes today. Box number 2 to be exact. Some of the meat is okay but the box comes with 10 pork chops. The guy told me he would use fresh chops only to get home and find out I have 10 pre packaged chops you could flosh your teeth with, and one of the 2 so called 3/4" steaks is also very thin. This was my first and only time that I will spend my money in Mosley's Meats. Realistically I should have just gave them $140 and walked out so I would be less frustrated about losing my money.
