Cohosted a multigenerational, post Christmas Bowling party Dec 2018 midday on a recent Saturday. The party had @ 100 guests of all ages, and needed space for having a buffet lunch, as well as entertainment, family auction and raffle. The logistics worked smoothly, the food was great, the price was very reasonable divided among the committee, attendees had a blast bowling, cash bar was well received, etc. The riv handled the food prep, setup, cleanup and more. No hall rental! We had lots of time to enjoy ourselves!

Fantastic pizza, just as fantastic sandwiches. Soup was spicy (being chipotle beef, it should be!). I would absolutely come here again. Dont be turned off by the outside, this place has solid food for a reasonable price. Some money has been spent to spruce up the booths/etc. I had that thin crust pizza and it was fantastic - worth the price absolutely. Burger was also very good, hand-pattied and not something from frozen.

Awesome pizza, wings, and sandwiches. The inside of the bar could use a face lift as it's showing it's age. The deck is comfortable and has a nice view of the river. Staff are friendly and the drinks are good priced.

Waited over an hour for 3,2 piece fish meals, absolutely ridiculous as I was in the building while I waited. You need to hire more than just a couple of high school kids if it takes you over an hour to make 3 pieces of fish. Loud and gross.

Fun bowling with lots of tables and colors and colored lights. good beer and great mix drinks and more of a restaurant then the usual bowling alley food. The baked fish, fried fish, potato pancakes and the seafood chowder were all great. The sides salad was as big as a chef salad almost.

The Best Pizza we've had in along time!! They are cautious about using non-toxic ingredients. Their crust is great, using unbleached flour, no sugar, low yeast and No bread additives!! No MSG in their meats. Using fresh ingredients as seasons allow. The pizza tasted great!! Highly recommend checking them out.

We ordered a thin crust pepperoni, onion and green pepper pizza to be delivered. Even tho the wait time was short, it came room temperature and all the toppings were piled in the center. ( outer pieces had none ) The crust was over done. I’m very disappointed

Our lane was warped, childrens' slow balls trailing off at the same point and along the same path. The wood floor was treacherously slippery, unlike any bowling lane I've ever encountered.

Under new management since Summer of 2016, and going Strong! New kitchen, new menu, new look! Love the artisan Pizzas and other Italian items abd on Fridays they have a great Fish fry to boot. Plus with the remodeled bowling alley under the same roof, you can work some of the calories off before going home. A great addition to our community.

Went there to eat service was horrible had 4 different waiters and still could not get our order correct. Was asked how are food was right after it was left on the table didnt even get to take a bite and try it, then had to track down some one to get the bill. It was are first time to eat there and will not go back or recommend it to anyone.

The Riv is located behind Ace and the Cayuse shop, so since it has no store front to Water street, I think people either don't know or forget it's there. The Vintage stands so prominently in that area it must draw some customers away from stopping at the Riv. But truth be told, the Riv pizza is SO MUCH BETTER, and their prices are way more reasonable. They also make terrific Old Fashioned drinks. And they frequently host live music. And that is just the bar and food area. They have a great bowling alley too. We don't stop here nearly enough, as it is a local family business too. Highly recommend!

So where do I begin... we got to the Riv around 7:50 PM and ordered around 8:10 PM. Our wings came out 15 min later barely warm but we decided to give them a try anyway. A long time goes by and at 8:50 PM the waitress stopped by to see how we were doing and I ask about our food. She told me they were working on it and it should be out soon. Her excuse was that there was a big order right before we came in.. thinking to myself I didn't think it was that busy secnes there was only one other group of 6 people and we got there about an hour ago that didn't add up to me. It would have been nice to know so we could have went somewhere else. Our food finally arrived at 9:10 PM and it was just mediocre. One of the cooks came and gave a different excuse for the long wait and by then I was just disgusted with the service.. All in all if you want to wait for over a hour for mediocre food this is the place for you. I will never eat there again.

Had their pizza a few times, and hate it. The pizza it over priced, and taste is awful. Decided to give there other food a try. The chicken bacon wrap with fries was great! The kids cheeseburger with fries also looked very nice and my daughter liked it. The lasagna however was a big sloppy mess that didn't even look like lasagna, and it tasted awful.

The Italian Buffet was a success for our family dinner! Everything was as to be expected with no delays. The food was delicious as always!
