Ideal hang-out spot for medium sized groups who are looking for a fun mix of activity, conversation, and access to drinks and food. Pros: plenty of seating (seat up to 8 comfortably at a table), reasonable prices for bowling and food/drinks, just noisy enough to be fun, but not so noisy you can't have a conversation. Cons: atmosphere is not very interesting, and machinery is kind of clunky, but who doesn't expect that at a bowling alley?

I've been going here since I was a kid and have also just recently joined a volleyball league there. I had been bowling in a league for years before I decided to try volleyball. It's a sand court in case anybody is wondering. They even have a bar out there to. The only downside to prairie lanes is that their pro shop has very sporadic hours. It can sometimes be hard to stop in there when you need to.

Love their fish fry!!! Both the fried and baked fish is really good. And It's never too busy! And you get the enjoy the salad bar with your meal!! Can't say enough good things about the restaurant inside this bowling alley. Especially during Friday fish fry season. It's a good find for sure!

Best and tiny place for less crowd. I enjoyed their games like kids more then their bowling alley. They do have better screens than one in Milwaukee though. Kind of upgraded version of software in screens and options, more understandable and more playing

I'm a junior bowling.coach at Prairie Lanes and the Ferrer has developed some of the best junior bowlers in the United States.In 2016,2017 and 2017,2018 bowling seasons they were they were National Champions of the United States two years in a row .They will have laser tag center in the play area for the enjoyment of the young people to play.I believe they have the BEST junior bowling center in the country and the youth bowlers can earn money by their bowling accomplishment over their participation towards college when they graduate from high school IF they go to college. Last season the program credited the bowlers to about$26000.00 in an account at a bank in Sun Prairie Wis.Great.bowling Center to to do your bowling.Phil

Good place for events and family events/school events! Has a mini arcade and 20+ lanes! Food and drink is 3/5 and bowling is 4/5 . You have the choice to pick among 100+ bowling balls! Good place for all ages. Offers bumpers and other controls.

A little dark in here but it's something fun to do in the evenings here in Brookings. If you haven't been here before I recommend giving it a try. It makes a great date night without leaving town.

Not happy at all. First of all their was a 30 minute wait which was understandable but while waiting at the bar we moved twice to get waited on for a drink. Service very bad. Once we were ready to be served for dinner we waited another 30 minutes for our fish which wasnt that good. The salad bar was out of plates and we had to wait for those which were wet when they came. Olives and cheese were empty. Also did not have a good waiter. He never asked us if we'd like water or another drink. We didnt even have salt and pepper. He never checked on us. We had to find him to pay our bill. We will not go there again.

I love the fish fry here on Fridays. It's relatively inexpensive and the food is great. The service is top notch. Can't speak much for the bowling because I don't bowl, but they seem to have a packed house on the weekends. So I imagine that's pretty good. They just remodeled and added an updated game area for kids and laser tag. Seems like a happening place to be in small town Sunny P.

Run down dirty restraunt... The food sits for hours until you order it... Open meat just sits inside their coolers... This restraunt is equiped with neither hand washing sinks or vegetable sinks as required by law... No three sink sanitation process here or even sanitizer... Eat off the plates at your own risk

It's your typical bowling alley, bathrooms were clean. Food was crazy expensive, but it tasted good, for bar food. Pizza crust is very thin and crispy. The wings are boneless and you don't get many in an order. They serve Angry Orchard on tap. I was there for a graduation party and they let us bring in our own cake and provided plates and forks and serving spatulas.

I've been to Prairie Lanes a couple of times and I really enjoy bowling here. The prices to bowl are not bad and it is a convenient location so it tends to be the place I go to bowl. The food is actually pretty good, I've never had anything to complain about. Though the prices tend to be up there and I would watch what I order. I personally always get the cheese curds, they're really good! If your not a cheese person the next best thing has to be the waffle fries. Recently I went there to attend a children's birthday party and I would really suggest it as well. It was a fun experience and I wasn't bored like at most kid's birthday parties as we started a lane of bowling ourselves.
