My friends and I have been playing softball here for over a decade now. Best place to play in the area, hands down. We played one year, over ten years ago, at their neighbors establishment... what a mistake! Went back to Pioneer and haven’t left. Pitchers of beer are a bit overpriced and their burgers have never been good. However, their pizza and wings are great! I always look forward to Thursday nights in summer at Pioneer Bowl.

There was an eight-piece band playing here on a Saturday night, and there was a big crowd in attendance, ready to dance. The bartenders were more than happy to serve us excellent drinks, and everyone had a wonderful time moving and grooving to the sounds of the ‘70s. On the other side of this large establishment, there are lots of bowling lanes, bathed in colorful lights for special night bowling and equipped with the latest electronic scorekeeping devices. Everyone was having a great time on both sides of this updated bowling alley. Even the restrooms seemed brand new. They’re hospital-clean with brand new tile and up-to-date fixtures. The whole place was well run, spotless, and was the rockin’-est place in the little town of Richfield on that cold Saturday night. We’ll be watching for the next live music to appear at Pioneer Bowl, and are certain to go and dance the night away again!

Most recent visit was to play volleyball. It's always a great time! Why aside from being with my friends who are my teammates? Always good old friends are found either playing volleyball or softball or bags or bowling or just having a good time. The service from outside officials courtside or in the field umpiring is always excellent. The fields and courts are consistently in good condition. Kids playground available too. The same great service and fair pricing you'll find inside as well coming from the staff and owners and family of the owners who mingle and appreciate your company.

Slow drink makers; one at a time plus they are a bit expensive compared to most of the bars around. My volleyball team has always liked the pretzel bites. Lately not so much. They have been over cooked the last 3 times. Were there playing volleyball and they always use to have a outdoor service area. It hasnt been open very much and it's a pain to walk all the way inside especially with the slow drink service when you only have a couple minutes between games.

Surprisingly big place considering where it is. The lanes aren't over or under-waxed so it curves just right when you put spin on it. The food is what you would expect from a bowling alley. The workers are always pretty nice!

The place was weird and there was a creepy snowman. They have a time limit on bowling so even if you are in the middle of a game it shuts down unless you pay them more. RIP OFF!!!!
