It is hit or miss with this place. We have been going here for many years with having a lot of bowling birthday parties for our son. The nightmare was quite a number of years ago when my husband & I got food poisoning from The Alpine Bowling Alley food!!! We absolutely know that it was from here that we got sick. It was the only thing we had the same food of that day. The pork chop sandwich. When they had the old kitchen you could watch the cooks work & we saw them handling raw meat with their hands & then touching the fridge, stove, etc. & not washing their hands afterwards! We were both violently ill the next morning & could not get out of bed the entire day. My husband had not missed a day of work in over 16 years! Called the next day to talk to Lloyd & Kathy & they used every excuse in the book that it wasn't them & did nothing to make it right and really just didn't care. Have gone back after this bad experience to give them another chance & got RAW burgers. Like I said, It is hit or miss at this joint! If you want a really great burger, go to Matty's in Muskego on Tuesday's & get their burger for only $7.95 with anything and everything that you want on it. No more Alpine for us & no more food poisoning. My only regret is not contacting my local health department & reporting them. If they were only nice & did the right thing, I would have never taken the time to write this review after all these years!

We recently had a birthday party for our son here. We hit a few glitches along the way but they were amazing at fixing/accommodating. I would recommend Alpine Lanes not only to bowl but also to eat. Their pizza is amazing our guests had a lot of compliments.

Okay food. Nothing impressive, during my time there someone I was with ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap without tomatoes. When the food finally arrived her food didn't come out for another 5-10 min. Then after it came out it had no bacon on it. But in the end our waitress took it off of our bill which was nice. I didn't bowl, but looking at it, it seemed busy and looked pretty good.

Who knew a bowling alley could also be a great casual restaurant?! They smoke their own brisket in a bbq pit out back and make their pizzas from scratch! We'll be back, and we don't even bowl!

I have been going to this place for over 20 years! The staff is friendly and helpful. Avalanche Grill restaurant gets very busy on the weekends, especially for Friday night fish fry. This place has the best gluten free pizza in Milwaukee area!

Great bowling lane with sizable bar and outdoor seating. Pizza is one of the best in the area. Chicken wings extra crispy are great with spicy bbq's sauce too. All food options are good. 3 volleyball courts for spring, summer, and fall leagues as well. Plenty of parking as well.

The haircut that I got made me look completely ridiculous... it was uneven, way too short, and the clippers slipped leaving a tiny bald spot. Then, I went bowling at Alpine Lanes and Avalanche Grill, and I had a blast bowling (while wearing a hat). The pizza was really good, the service was great and for a brief second I forgot how horrible my haircut was.

Food= classic Wisconsin pub grub. Sandwiches wings and pizza. Their version of the French dip is fantastic and huge. Like. Feed a family of 4 for 2 days huge. Ok. Maybe a family of 4 small individuals or supermodels. But before we get lost debating the nuclear family and it’s so called values- the sandwich is really big. Prices are odd- keep an eye on all of the things that cost an extra 1-2$. A $9.50 sandwich will cost you $13 pretty quickly. Still reasonable just- car salesman like deceiving. Service is decent. Bar staff tend to get carried away with dip spit and vomiting stories so get a table or don’t mind the chatter. The bowling alley is beautiful and rustic.

Went for pizza last night after my daughter's choir concert and the onions on the pizza tasted like dish water I took the left overs home and tried to cook it in the oven but i wanted to puke we had another pizza without onions last night and it was awesome my wife and I have been there several times and we always loved the pizza

The waitstaff is always unfriendly and rude. Ordered two chicken breasts with cheese and no buns. The woman on the phone confirmed my order and confirmed I wanted cheese and no sides or bun with my chicken. When we arrived to pickup the food it was over $30 - they charged us for two full meals- did not add cheese AND gave sides we did not ask for. The woman who is consistently behind the bar has a terrible attitude and the rest of the staff would rather keep their back to you than provide any decent form of customer service. We will NEVER go back, which is unfortunate because we live close, but the entire place needs a lesson on how to be successful in the service industry.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Had my kid's birthday party here today, and I REGRET IT!!! First off, the place was an absolute ZOO! They overbook, and then try to rush you out of the way to accomodate the next party! Paid over 130 bucks for my daughter and 10 friends to be jammed into 3 lanes to bowl! They were barely into their second game when we were hurried off the lanes for the next party to start! When I complained to the manager guy, he was rude and tried to blame ME because we had brought an extra child!!! This guy had every excuse in the book...... """Well we told you on the phone that you only get to bowl for an hour. Maybe next time you should do this and that..This is the way we have always done things here""" Are you kidding me?!? Then when we were in our "private party room", we had to get our own soda and pizza, because they were so overbooked and understaffed! The kids got so sick of waiting on more pizza that we had to feed them the birthday cake first!!! OH!, And then we were rushed out of our "private room" as well... Basically I paid $130 for a game of bowling, 3 bad pizzas, and the lousiest service that I have EVER had!!! OUR EXPERIENCE HERE ABSOLUTELY SUCKED!!! I am not normally this outspoken, but I am absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated, and the amount I was charged for what we recieved! RIPOFF! This guy is just taking advantage of his monopoly on the area and the upper class who live here and are willing to pay!

We stopped in for a Saturday afternoon pizza and drinks. We were able to order after about 5 minutes of sitting at the bar. They seemed to be a little short staffed, but it was a bit busy for a mid-afternoon lunch. The pizza was very good and came out piping hot. The staff was very friendly and we were in and out in less than an hour.
