So fun. Hip bowling alley without the gimmicks.
Excellent bowling alley with a super restaurant (High Strike Grill). Come for a weekend breakfast&bowl deal and get 2 free games with each breakfast entree. Their summer leagues are the best deal going - every summer league bowler gets 100 free games every summer month (May - August)! I love bowling in the Market Basket league on Tuesday nights - you can win produce for specific combinations and buy tickets for a chance to bowl for meat :)
Fun local place in West Seattle. Kid friendly and tools to allow kids to bowl easily.
Great deals and promotions thru out the week. Food is fantastic. Sunday specials and kids menu. Customer service is very nice. They deserve more than five stars here and after you been a few times, you'll agree. Best yet.
One of the few bowling alleys left without a casino. Knowledgeable staff and great setup. Late night happy hours to draw in the college students that vary by weeknight. High quality bowling equipment and Lanes
Some great lanes and fun times at West Seattle Bowl. Their restaurant has always dished me delicious feeds and the bar staff is friendly and accommodating.
They don't know what Fry sauce is, I almost cried. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE FRY SAUCE?!?!
Always habe fun here and the food is Great!
Drinks are way cheaper than on Alki and better than average bar food! They just have a tendency to play awful music really loud most of the time. Would be way more litty if they'd play better music for people to drink to...
It was huge and very easy to get a lane, not that expensive, the whole system worked perfectly without needing intervention from the employees, and had food and booze attached. I couldn't ask for anything more.
I went with my coworkers for our (technically) end of the year party for the first time. I had such a blast with everyone, I can't enough how much I want to come back. The food was amazing, the staff was fun to talk with and the whole place felt inviting and fun! It's been a while since I bowled, but now that I know I'm so close to an ally, I'll have to take it up again!
The food here is amazeballs! Chicken strips were outstanding. And apparently I ate a bowl of country gravy (I thought it was soup). I regret nothing!
Very nice... energetic, positive atmosphere,.. excellent food
Fun time with coworkers and families!
Had a pretty good experience. Way too noisy tho in the bowling alley. They should get sound proofing and other architecture that calms down the sound. But all in all. A pretty cool place.
The service on a busy Saturday night was fast, accurate and pleasant. Really nice staff, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! I had the Guinness burger, which was good, though I didn't get much flavor from the smoked gouda. My wife got the grilled cheese and added avocado. It was perfectly comforting.
Good bowling Great pizza
Great space, relaxed atmosphere. The food, however, is... Not great.
Family friendly bowling at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Food servings are mostly family size. Parking can be challenging however - free street parking only.
West Seattle bowl is an amazing pillar of the community. The business is owned by some upstanding guys who know how to run a business and give back to the community. They recently upgrading their pinsetters and wow they are fast! Try the highstrike burger in their restaurant. It's delicious.
The lanes are well kept and staff is friendly!
L love bowling but my wife only come & watch
Nice, cheap, fun, very friendly staff!!! Love love this place
Classic old school bowling alley; restaurant is decent; was a good time
SUPER great place for a quality breakfast.
Nice sofa and decent food. A good spot to hang out with a group of friends. Could use some first-timer friendly instructions .
Fun, clean and good staff. Would bowl again
I have been to this place half a dozen times... It's great fun place if you manage to go in group of 5 or more ppl
Staff were friendly, brunch was good, cocktails were delicious. Lanes are well maintained. Bowling and cocktails...what's not to like?!
I know the owner, used to own robin hood. It’s a great center, nice lanes, even during open bowl there’s oil. It’s a bit weird getting used to the lack of a step up on to the approach but that’s not a big deal. It was a little warm but that was probably just me. Parking is fine, laze people may complain about having to walk, but there’s no issue, especially with the loading zone for bowling equipment. West Seattle is a good center.
Could use a renovation and one of the employees just assumed that I(a wheelchair user) wanted the ramp. No matter how many times moved it out of the way he moved it back. I get he was trying to be helpful but if I didn't ask for it, it's because I didn't want it.
Love it. People fríen doy Lanes are Awesome great maintenance. I visit from Panamá and lanes aleyas great
Nice place
This was a really fun bowling spot... Cute old atmosphere and friendly staff. And my husband is in a legue so we have had a lot of bowling food and hands down this food was actually really good!!!
After renovation very cool
Nice facility. Go on their website and make a reservation before you go.
Great place for family bowling. Must try the Cajun salmon sandwich. Delicious!
Helpful staff. Fun times. Tasty and affordable food and drinks.
Nice place to play bowling in Seattle, don't worry about parking as they have enough space. They don't have good deals, but prices are bit reasonable.
Great bowling alley. Equipment is great, displays and scoring system is modernized and easy to use, and I love the pay be the minute model. Would go back.
Fun leagues, great food and drinks
We love bringing the whole family. Great happy hour on drinks and food and kids love bowling, especially on the summer time Kids Bowl Free program.
Quaint and simple, reminded me of bowling alleys as they were meant to be. I LOVED that they offered Ghost Fish beer!
Convenient location, plenty of lanes and friendly staff. I especially liked the automatic hand dryer in the restroom, as to ensure people actually dry their hands instead of simply tapping them with a sheet of paper and walking out with moist, soggy hands only to continue bowling.
Great service and better food! We go to this bowling alley regularly with the 'kids bowl free' app and its always a super fun, easy outing. Thanks west seattle bowl!!
Great bowling center. Stays busy during the winter. Lots of bowling league opportunities and open play times which are by the hour instead of by game. They've kept their location up with modernization, putting in new automatic scoring and then this summer put in all brand new pinsetters and new modern and tasteful masking units. The staff and owners are wonderful. A great choice to go bowling as well as to eat with their attached High Strike Grill.
Great friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, good food. Best sweet potato fries in town!
Love this place, great food, great atmosphere and great beer selection
Sept 21 2019 update: bowling alley has drastically improved, however the in-house restaurant service is deplorable. It's always been kind of a pain to get food here, but the guy working this morning was a complete creep. He berated me for not knowing what time lunch was available for ordering, and was so completely sarcastic and rude that I left without ordering before he could spit in my food. I also saw him sneeze on the clean glasses behind the counter. Bottom line, bowling alley is good but by all means stay away from the rude and unsanitary in-house restaurant with bitter employees. Decent bowling alley, but could use some improvement. The house balls are in poor condition and the lanes don't seem exactly level. Also, parking around here can be a challenge.
Nachos and good tap list. Go on a weeknight for good bowling + beer deals.
2 words: the best
I loved bowling here! Up to date technology, ship shape lanes, and great costumer service. A bonus is that the food is really good!
Had a good time. Seemed busy but was able to get a lane right away. Would go again.
Awesome spot. Fun way to escape from cabin fever and let the kids blow off some steam
Soooooo much fun! Great atmosphere, lots to do! Food was perfect, cool little resuraunt section, very nice.
Great customer service and awesome prices! Such a fun experience!!
Our event was catered and the food was ready almost immediately and it was really good.
Had a nice time with Team. Food is good too
I luv the claw game ,,I'm back tomorrow two win that Star wars toy you hear me
Good equipment and decent food. We were a party of 12, played a total of 6 games on 2 lushness and offered food, it came to $100 including shoe rentals. Quite economical!
Had our company meeting and party here, and we were so pleased. Jeff helped us coordinate the details, very friendly. Phoebe was our server at Highstrike, thoroughly pleasant and helpful. We had catered food and lanes reserved, food was hot and ready on time, bowling staff were great, everything was executed perfectly. Highly recommend for group parties.
Beautiful place
What a great place to bowl a few frames in! A little overcrowded on the weekends but still fun.
Great place to bowl... and eat. Great food. Friendly, helpful staff.
West Seattle bowl has been in the area many years and provides a great place for family entertainment.
Wednesay and Sunday nights are just too awesome
Best bowling alley in Seattle by far. Tons of lanes, lot of league options, good food from the attached restaurant. Staff is always friendly, good deals on different days of the week that are super cheap. Has a small bowling shop that drills and cleans balls for you.
Pretty great bowling for a pretty cheap price, depending on what your views of a good price are...
Your standard bowling alley. The food wasn’t great, we had fries and it didn’t even come with ketchup or napkins. The staff could be a little friendlier
Any activity that has a bar gets 5 stars
Great local bowling alley. Have kids bowl free offers. Good indoor entertainment on hot days.
Love the people and everything
They took great care of us during our team bonding for our oeganization. There were about 12 or so of us and everything went so smooth! The online registration was easy. The gentlemen working the counter and food window were friendly and accommodating. The food was good, a great price and quick. Overall, had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to W. Seattle Bowl for future work and personal parties and events. Thanks for a great day of bowling!
I love this bowling alley, they have awesome leagues and a great staff!
Great place for kids bowling. Low key. Old school bowling at its best.
That lanes and staff here are great. Super friendly, well managed.
I love the Saturday brunch with two free games deal but the staff in the bowling center didn't seem to know what they were doing when things weren't working right. Had to ask them 4 times to reset the pins once when it was malfunctioning and they still didn't do it. Still had a fun time. Good food as well.
I lived next door at Spruce for a year. The bowling alley is fine, except for the greasy holes in their bowling balls. Good beer, reasonably priced. I saw people stumbling out of this building. They over serve alcohol to people. One morning I came outside to find a bowling ball-shaped smash in my car windshield parked outside. Their drunk patrons are also obnoxious. I think they are a bad neighbor. I don't live next door anymore.
Such a fun spot. Really nice to go to a place that's so historic and unpretentious. Also they serve Brussel sprouts! And pizza. Something for everyone
The drinks are great. They have the best bowling! 75cents a game! Its busy but that's what makes it fun! They bartenders are friendly and fast. Good selection of alcohol for those who can par take. Parking sucks but that's nothing against them. All in all great experience.
Nice bowling alley that has many lanes. The scoring system is a nice modern Android based one and you can have your scores emailed to you.
Sliders were good, bowling was fun.
Great experience through and through. Love the ability to reserve lanes online - so cool! Made for a painless birthday planning for our large party in Seattle. Great beer selection as well and delicious nachos. Will go back should we ever need another fun activity for a big group. Place was packed on a Saturday - obviously a community favorite.
Visiting from the East, this was our second time here with the Grandkids 4, 6, &8. Will probably become a tradition because we had so much fun. The people here are great, both on the alley side and the pub side. The food was ucommonly good, and the menu had great variety. Great family place.
Friendly service and well kept lanes
Great friendly space.
Really quite impressed by this bowling alley. Super modern lane computers include statistics and you can set automatic bumper show/hide for kids. Pro shop, bar and it looks like they do a bunch of fun league type stuff and events too. It's still a little divey (which I like) but definitely clean enough to bring the fam. Weird that they hand wrote their name on all the rental shoes – it's already obvious that they are rental shoes.
The lanes are spacious and the food is good. The only reason these lanes don't get five stars is because they are oily!!! The belt system doesn't support personal balls and they spin and spin. My boyfriend had to use a house ball after his ball was getting thrashed in the return. The wings were delicious, so was the burger. Deals can't be beat! Sunday night $8 cover, cheap games and beer.
Always a fun place to come on Friday night!
Great experience. Sunday nights are the best time to go.
This is a fun little bowling alley. Friendly staff, cool new bowling games. Plenty of light weight balls. Reasonably priced.
They're experimenting with some new bowling alleys which are interactive - and these are amazing..Its apparently also called immersive bowling, it is AI-driven with responsive projection mapping. You just have to get there and play on these, changes the experience entirely. We got it for the same price as the regular bowling alleys because of some experimentation promotion, but otherwise there will be a ~$10 difference in pricing. The food quantity is extra large and very filling. Ambience of course convinces your mind to always stay over for an extra game or two.
Always fun and great atmosphere
The idea of a cover charge for a bowling alley seemed odd but worked out ok for us.
One of the few places left to bowl in Seattle with a decent number of lanes. It has an old school feel with modern automated scoring. Also, decent food and drinks.
Kids bowling league,I am blessed with the best son on the planet MICHAEL GOFORTH
Sliders, nachos, and casadillas were great while bowling at our team building event
Nice bowling alley. Great special on Sunday nights!
Good atmosphere and adequate food. Be prepared for for a lot of noise.
Had a fun night with a few friends here. Bowling was fairly inexpensive and it’s a nice place inside. I’m not a fan of bowling but it was a fun time
This place is awesome. Friendly staff, good food, lots of beers and strong drinks. There are 32 lanes at great prices. There are nightly themes and specials so call or check online. They host league play which is a lot of fun. It's just a great place to escape and have fun. There's some angled parking on the street outside but no designated parking lot. Parking is limited but there is free off street parking around the area.
Decent place and the kids loved it. We had a family get together here. We reserved 3 lanes. Upon check in they had everything ready to go. They even put our name up on the screens. Lots of food and beer options. A little dated, could use a face-lift.
Great breakfast menu, nice folks, and neat facility
Probably one of the best bowling alleys in Seattle. Definitely the best one in the west Seattle area. The lanes are nice and clean and feel very state of the art. Food and drinks here are what you would expect form a bowling alley. Typical pub fare with a full bar and some beer on tap. Only downside to this place is that all they have is bowling. Most bowling alleys I've been to have at least a pool table or a dart board. This place is only focused on bowling and rightly so.
Very fun place, great atmosphere, food is super, you have any concerns go Mike gupps, he'll take care of you. Plus he will, even give you a tip on bowling, if you ask. They also have great specials.
Great alley, great staff, and the best pro shop around. Nachos are the best bang for your buck, though make sure they use real cheese and not the liquid cheese sauce alternative.
Really nice lanes. Great ball selection. Even has an option for bumpers on a player by player basis.
Great fun. Very affordable and good food
It's a bowling Alley. Nothing really special. Good place to hang out for parties, or with family and friends. Parking can be and was an issue for the gathering I went to. Food and drinks were average. The staff was nice.
Fun Saturday afternoon!!
Usually busy but their reasonably priced!
Held a company party there. Great staff, great food and lots of fun.
Great lanes with updated technology. I bowl in a league here and it's run well. Open bowling can be pretty pricey, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. The food is all pretty good (especially for a bowling alley), but the breakfast is legitimately delicious.
One of the best bowling alley in Seattle. Quality lanes and friendly staff. I bowl there every week!
Great place to go for late night bowling especially on a Wednesday.......
For obvious reasons this places feels more like a true bowling alley, especially when compared to the more Seattle central The Garage. This bowling alley truly does it for me though. A sense of seriousness and true alley identity. Plus the bar has great drink specials and the homemade honey mustard is to die for. For a true bowler, this is the place to go.
Great summer time rates!
It's a cozy bowling centre with 32 lanes but parking is limited.
The TWICE baked croissants are to die for!
Wonderful Hangout, Good Bartending Staff, Fun For All Ages
Great place! First time there. Had a fun time!
Great little bar area with tables to sit and eat/drink and then bowling fun too.
Very good lanes. Not so crowded. Good prices.
Great place to go as a group
It's a great place!!!! And pretty cheap.
I had a great time!
An excellent diner with classic dinner food. They do make a strong effort to accommodate vegans and there are many options on the menu. The food was excellent, and the service was also very prompt.
Bowling choices in Seattle are limited. This bowling alley is a bit dumpy inside, but the food is good... and they have a great full-service bar. Alleys are equipped with modern scoring system, and the staff is friendly.
Coolest bowling alley ever. You can control bumpers per player and set custom animations for strikes, gutter balls, etc. Clean and simple computers for the lanes. Thanks for hosting us.
Love this place! Great staff, great beer and cocktails!
Fun place.
Great place for bowling with family or friends. Parking availible outsite. You can buy snacks and beberages inside. Set your kids birthday celebration here.
Went out for a company celebration. We had a great time. It was clean and the crew were great! It was busy but was expected since it was Saturday. Would suggest calling ahead to reserve lanes.
Old school bowling alley. Good food!
My kids had a blast! Friendly staff.
Tough shot...
Bigger than expected, friendly staff, decent food drinks, clean and best of all well oiled lanes
Awesome great place to bowl and raise money for the Seafair Scholarship fund, THANKS TO YOU WEST SEATTLE BOWL!!
Great bowling center .. great staff ... terrific management.
John was really helpful downstairs in the retail/service shop. He dialed in my ball and gave me a few pointers too! I have eaten and bowled here too- fun friendly place! ☮️
Delicious food stuffs and beer. Smooth lanes and clean balls.
A great set of lanes....good service and a solid bar and food!
Great food great friends great time
This place is nice. the front staff can be a bit unfriendly, but they're usually pretty busy. If you plan on eating there before you play, you'll have a great time
what a great place to have a party! The food was excellent and the staff friendly. Can't wait to go back.
best bowling alley I've ever been too!!!
A lot of lanes, we reserved 2 ahead of time. They also have a lot of food options, and a vending machine with socks in it. Which was useful, since I forgot mine.
Homely bowling alley that feels like you'll have a John Tutturo Jesus character or The Dude sighting at any moment. The service is good. Strong league programs and really tasty food. The accompanying restaurant does a good job, and the beer is flowing freely.
Best place to throw some rocks on the west side.
love this bowling alley. besides having great lanes and ball returns the food is great! and not just "for a bowling alley". its actually good food!
Had a great time. Bowling balls are old, shoes are so so... But hey.... Your gonna have fun!
The lanes are smooth the equipment is updated. Great bowling alley.
Food is great. Bar service is quick. Fun place to hang and the staff is friendly.
So fun, great food
It's an older bowling alley that's been renovated and updated with all the tech of a modern restaurant/ bowling alley. Sunday was a ridiculously long wait for a lane, so we hung out at the bar.
It's lit
Always nice to be in a bowling center that is well kept, especially one that has as much history as West Seattle Bowl. Thank you for hosting the USBC Bronze Coaching class, instructed by Peter Somoff.
This place was great before they remodeled and updated the lanes, and now it's even better! Inexpensive and totally fun bowling, plus cheap drinks and tasty fried food.
