The bowling alley is fun and late night bowling is full of black lights and music. They have a bar that does karaoke most nights. The acoustics are good and the system is great. If you enjoy listening to good singers, head out to this place.

A good local bowling alley. Great food and deals and the arcade is decent. Way across the parking lot there is a play area/arcade/food place called Odyssey 1 and it is GREAT and SO FUN for kids. I know I had such a blast there when I was little. What I loved to do when I was little was go bowling here, then just drive up across the parking lots to Odyssey 1. You will really get exhausted but VERY worth the fun. Also, right across from this building is an old theatre named Galaxy Narrows 8 Theatre. I wish it was still open although it was very old but it was a really great theatre. What was really good about these places around was that you could go bowling and then watch a movie at Galaxy. It closed in 2013. They should really renovate or demolish that theatre and open up a brand new one... All the way in Tukwila (around Seattle) there is a fun little place called ACME Bowl and they have a GIANT claw machine. My family and I would always win big prizes and my siblings and I just wished there was one close by because that game is fun for all ages lol... Then later that August of 2015, my family and I drove past this bowling alley and realized that we haven't been here in YEARS. We went there and there it was! THE BIG CLAW! We were so excited and happy. We've been winning big prizes since and now our basement is packed with them... Anyways been going here since I was little but they should really renovate their bathrooms and their chairs near the lanes but this is a great bowling alley.

Our lane did get stuck and it was taking too long to fix the computer- they were busy and 1 guy had to manually enter in the names on each lane that stuck.. Pretty much all of them. Only 2 people working on a Thursday...? Need help.

Good selection of food and a variety of games in the arcade. Place is definitely weathered and there shoes could use new laces. My laces were sticky like old gum you try to peel off the bottom of your shoe. I washed my hands immediately after tying them......ewww

The narrows plaza bowl is my favorite place to bowl in Tacoma! Call ahead to make sure you can get a lane! They have events and leagues that meet there frequently which can make getting a lane difficult.

We love Narrows Plaza Bowl. The staff are great. They serve a number of people with disabilities. They know each one by name. The facility is clean, the food is wonderful. We go at least once a week. This is the best bowling alley!!

Staff was friendly and the facility was very clean. Bathrooms were also very clean. This bowling alley is like what you see in the movies. A throw back when families went to have a great time bowling. The facility is vintage, but in a good way. There is an arcade section where you can win tickets for toys. Places to eat, a lounge and of course beers/drinks.

My favourite bowling alley in Tacoma...and fortunately we still have several to choose from. Seattle destroyed almost all of theirs. It's very clean for a bowling alley here, bright. They have good promotions to save money if you like to bowl. I like the all you can bowl on Thursday nights. They also have things like pancakes and bowling on the weekends. Which brings me to the cafe and bar - both are solid here. I wouldn't eat here just to have a meal, but if I'm hungry I know I'll get a decent burger or appetizers. Cocktails are decently made and the bar can be somewhat busy here.

I have a hard time NOT giving anything but 5 stars to authentic places from the 80s and 70s. Cant beat a bowling alley smell yo relive your childhood. Karaoke in the good times lounge with mainly older folks on sat. Nights. Good stage and sound system. But I feel sad if I sing faster songs on account of the older people who dont like newer music. Lounge is correct if you aren't going ri sings bartender makes his own drinks too. Real nice guy

Update! We came tonight, lanes full and my daughter was upset. I asked the lady at the counter to tell my daughter the lanes were full and she thought since the alley was quiet I might be fooling her....but people had reservations. But since another employee overheard us.....while we played in the arcade the employee came up and gave us passes to come back and play for free. I can just say as a patron, I respect that! This company cared about our experience. They went above and beyond to keep us happy. That is excellent customer service and definitely be back and will a always say good things about this place. I'm impressed!

Former Employee Starting in Snack bar(Cashier/prep) And Later Moved to Maintain Cleanliness of The whole Bowling alley (CSR/Janitorial) as a former employee, I Have to say, I love this bowling alley. I loved working here, Its a Fast paced enviroment when its busy and sometimes requires some priority based problem solving, but the experience of working hard, and seeing people happy, smiling, interacting and learning who regulars are, and setting up for Seasonal Leagues was rewarding. This bowling alley is a hidden gem, anyone could go to towers, or another alley nearby, but narrows plaza has a flair to all hired employees that all other bowling alleys lack. Working here was something I was proud of and always will be but now I'm on to an even bigger project.

What can I say? This place is awesome, they have a lot of deals depending on the day. Tons of lanes, so be ready to walk a bit to get to the food and drinks. The staff is extremely polite and I wanted to write this to let them know we appreciate that very much. For example, we asked for a lane closer to the bar but were turned down because of League games going on. After that finished, they asked us if we would like to relocate. Thanks for keeping us in mind! I've been there a handful of times and it's now our place to bowl. Keep it up!

Features an awesome giant claw game! The claw is a good 3 feet wide when it is extended and lowers about 3 to 4 feet once you adjust and initiate the claw drop. The claw closes on the desired prize which are a hefty 2 x 3 and 3 x 4 stuffed animals and other assorted characters. It's more extensive than the smaller claw games you see at other places but it's super fun for the kids. It's also an awesome 10 to 20 minutes if you are on a date at the bowling alley. A great ice breaker before hitting the lanes or a great closer after bowling with someone special.

The wait staff is in need of some coaching on customer service, I ordered the fish and chips for a total of $9.00. When the bartender brought the order, he failed to bring napkins, eating utensils and brought an Inadequate amount of tarter sauce. After tasting the fish, I realized it tasted burned and after further observation, I realized it tasted that way because the cooking oil had not been changed. The oil was so old, it made the fish very greasy so greasy, the fish was soaked through with oil also giving it a burned flavor, it was also very salty. Very bad!! When I told the bartender about the fish, he only responded by saying "I'll let the cook know". Proper response should've been "sir, I'm very sorry, May I offer you something else?" Or at least offer a discount. I literally paid for a meal that was basically inedible and the staff lacked empathy.

House of the Dead's gun stabbed me so that I bled, multiple games ate coins, a dino hunting game's gun's accuracy was so far off up and to the right that it was near impossible to hit anything, it smelled gross, was cold...I could keep going but suffice to say I'll be going to a different alley next time.

I had 3 kids along with my wife and we thought "hey this will be a cheap day to take the kids bowling and benefit the schools". No 1 game and shoes was 60 dollars. we drove from spanaway just to attend this so called "deal".

Though Narrows could use some modernization/renovations, it's a solid place to go for a fun night out with friends or the family. The attached bar has reasonably priced drinks and an awesome KJ known simply as "Al" who sure knows how to host a party.

Here’s the thing. Bowling was super fun! The lanes are nice updated tv screens and super friendly staff. However, we had ordered cheese fries and it took a entire hour to get them. By the time they came to our table our group we went with was getting ready to leave so we had to take our fries to go and eat them in the car. Our lane was right across from the kitchen and about 30 minutes into waiting I looked back and no one was even in the kitchen. Someone finally came back about 20 minutes later. It was very very disappointing. Other than that it is a really nice bowling ally.

What a wonderful evening I enjoyed. A group of us went into the lounge to enjoy beverages and appetizers. Chris the general manager treated us by presenting us some items off the special catering menu. Brisket sliders was my personal favorite. I added some of their barbecue sauce and yumminess ensued. They catering dishes that are exceptional, and I have tried, are the coconut shrimp I savored every bite. If you are looking for bowling alley treats, that are NOT your typical treats, head to Narrows Plaza and take a look. Carmella was our waitperson and was so genuinely kind and caring thanks for the great service!

Always a pleasant experience. The food is great, the lanes and shoe rentals are reasonable, enough that I can go at least twice a month. Lots of fun and the arcade is a plus. Love the air hockey and the black lights. Wear a white T-shirt or scarf for a cool glowing effect.

I love bowling here. The price adds up with 3 people and shoes too, but its worth it for how much fun it is. We pay per game rather than for a certain number of hours. Afterwards we like to enjoy the arcade. Very fun place to go as a family.
